Disappointing Price Switch and Disrespectful Staff – Levi’s East Midlands Designer Outlet
I visited the Levi’s store at East Midlands Designer Outlet on May 22, 2025, and had a very disappointing experience. I saw a polo shirt clearly marked at £9.45. I checked other sizes, and all had the same price tag. Confident in the deal, I decided to buy it.
After waiting about 7–8 minutes in line, I was told at the till that the price was actually £14. I asked the staff to double-check the other sizes, but to my shock, they had changed the price tags while I was still queuing. I was penalized for simply waiting my turn.
To make matters worse, the staff spoke to me in a rude and accusatory manner, implying that I had placed the sticker myself. When I suggested they check the cameras, they refused and acted as if I was lying. Their tone was condescending and humiliating.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I know what I saw, and I expect honesty and respect as a customer. I strongly discourage others from shopping at this location based on this experience.

This is NOT a genuine Levis shop. The quality of the Levis I purchased for my husband was not even close to what any pair he's had in the past. The fabric was bad, the cut was bad, the size was bad.
Horrid Exchange/Return Policy
The jeans are fine quality. The problem is with their exchange policy. I bought a pair of Japanese selvedge jeans for my daughter who lives in a remote area of Japan and sent them to her. The fit wasn't as expected, so she returned them to me to exchange for a different size. Because of the international shipping to and from such a remote area, the 30 day exchange window has closed by a few days. No exceptions. I'm now stuck with a pair of jeans that don't fit her (or me). It's the last time I purchase Levi's outside of Nordstrom, which has a much better exchange and return policy. There's a reason the book The Nordstrom Way is considered the gold standard of customer service. Someone from Levi Strauss should read it.

Awful costumer service, just made gift for them 41 dollars, I lost my e credit 41 dollars, I ,deleted the letter can't find it. So they can't resend emails, so stupid .Never more .I'll survive without levis

I ordered a pair of Levi’s. 10 minutes later I called to see if I could exchange it for a different size and I was told no and that they could not be returned. I think that is ridiculous. If you wanna spend your money, spend it somewhere else. Better jeans out there than Levi’s obviously.

I will never buy levi jeans ever again I bought them 7 months ago and they are riddled with holes where the material has frayed and ripped and worn and they cost £100! I have Primark jeans that I bought 5 years ago for £10 that are in better condition. I'm absolutely disgusted by the shoddy quality and won't ever buy from them again.
You basically pay the company's name
I had a few Lee Cooper's jeans and the quality of the jeans was and still is so good. 10+ years with them,100% cotton and good old HEAVY denim. In those 10+ years only the leather logo has been starting to rip off from only one of them. Now first time in my life I went and bought Levi's since they were and still are the biggest opponent of Lee's and their fans are really selling them to you, as high quality.
-_- They can't compare. Truly can't compare. Bought 2 jeans for almost 200+ euros and even the 100% cotton feels so cheap compared to my Lee's, so so cheap. Not to mention those who have 2% elastane, that feel like Bershka jeans. For their quality they are extremely overpriced. I can't see how this company has the hype it has.

Like the original prices are a bit too much but I manageed to get 2 pairs for 50% off and I am wearing them, they are high quality and withstand a lot.
Stretched beyond fitting
If you like saggy butt and enjoy the need to hike your jeans up every few minutes Levi’s are for you! I bought the 311 shaping slim women’s jeans and within 10 minutes they were stretched out to the point of not fitting at all. These are not the REAL Levi’s I grew up with. Levi says they’ve improved their product but definitely NOT! Won’t buy again.
Levi 501's Premium
I bought a pair of button down Premium 501’s. I did have a problem with them and used Levi's support to explain and document (with photographs) the problem. Levis's support was excellent and a special mention for TADAS who sets an example of what a first class customer service representative should be. My overall impression of Levi's has now been elevated and I'm a happy customer once again.
Basically got scammed by their own support chat
They cancelled my first order that included
a large discount due to "billing verification process".
I contacted them and they confirmed me that they adjust the price to the discounted one if I order again the same clothes that were more expensive at that point. But after ordering them, they never did it even after showing them screenshots of the support chat conversation.
Poor Quality
Quality of Levi jeans has definitely become very poor!!! The stitching is terrible with thinner materials. The 550 & 505 jeans are ok as long as you don't do anything physical in them. I am done with Levi's until they bring back some quality to their product line.

Misleading information.
I bought some jeans online with misleading information. They were not the size the company advertised. I was too dumb to wash them to make them shrink but it didn't work and when I tried to return or exchange them they didn't allow me to do it. Don't buy anything from this company online.
Awful quality control and even worse customer service
Bought 2 pair of jeans at their outlet store and realized that one was cut too small. Store wouldn't take back claiming worn (literally "worn" 5 minutes to try on). Tried online, but it was just an endless circle of showing pictures and then telling me they don't deal with in-store purchases. Finally they send some idiotic email saying they haven't heard from me and assume everything is ok. Yeah, never buying their products again

Was delivered Men's Dockers Khakis in a random size when I ordered Women's Levi's Corduroy Jeans. Unacceptable. Now the pants I actually wanted are completely sold out because I waited weeks for them to be delivered. Not an option to get the ones I actually paid for.
Beware of making a mistake online
I ordered jeans online, by mistake my google pay put the wrong delivery address. I realised this straight away and tried to correct, but as this was a Sunday no one was available. I emailed them immediately. They would not change the address. After long conversations with them on the Monday they told me to change the address on the tracking , but the DPD tracking would not let me, in two different cities. The process to complain about wrong delivery to wrong address is so fussy and difficult , had to fill in their form 3 times and still do not have my refund after 3 weeks. I would not recommend using their online service, beware of making a mistake they are unhelpful and make up all sorts of hurdles you have to go through.
