I ordered the Ella wallet in Medium, Mahogany Brown. My order was shipped quickly and arrived with no issue, however, the wallet I received did not match the pictures on Le Tanneur's website. The wallet had extra contrast stitching that I didn't like and the color was off. I sent a long, detailed email to the company's customer service email, including photo attachments and screenshots detailing how the wallet was not what I was sold based on the photos from their website. The wallet's delivery date and the date of my email to Le Tanneur was December 29, 2025. As of today, January 11, 2026, they STILL haven't responded. (In contrast, I recently had a question about my order from Songmont and received an email reply from their team within 6 hours.) I find it unacceptable for a "luxury" brand to have nonexistent customer service. It's bad enough to ship the wrong wallet (and/or to have incorrect photos on their website - I still don't know what happened because they never bothered to respond), but it is even worse to follow up with ZERO response for weeks. I have returned the wallet and was given a refund, so at least Le Tanneur managed that. Needless to say, I will never buy from this company again, nor will I recommend them.

I'm dissappointed that the colour and texture of the leather was not as pictured on the website photos. Quality and craftmanship is very good as always with Le Tanneur.

I live in the United States. Ordering from Le Tanneur was easy. Shipment to the United States was quick. I wanted a leather bag to hold my iPhone, wallet, checkbook, pen, eyeglasses, and keys. The Marceau Small Zipped Satchel was exactly what I needed. I carry my iPhone in the outside pocket, with my wallet and checkbook in the inside pockets.

It's a really great jewelry case--my wife loves it. Very high quality, looks great and the removable travel box is a bonus. The only negative was I received mixed messages on when it would be delivered, but it did arrive on the day originally promised.

Received before Christmas (December 24, 2025 @ about 4:00 p.m.) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which we were very pleased. Of course, the Le Tanneur product was exquisite and exuded its usual fine quality and perfection in the classy Le Tanneur blue bag! Thank you and Happy New Year from western Canada.

Nice design, thought it was a good brand of good quality. Did read up some issues about the quality from various platforms, but took the leap in buying the Emilie briefcase.

3 weeks later, stitching on one of the handles started coming loose.
Wrote to customer service based on details on their website, received a response after a few days, got directed to the Strasbourg boutique where I purchased the item. Reached out to the boutique, got directed to another client-service inbox (only gave the right email address on the 3rd try).

Client service reached out, informing me to reach out to the boutique again, because that is my point of contact.

Reached out to the Strasbourg boutique again, and finally they replied and said my product warranty is only a local warranty. If I’d like any help with the item (refund or gift card), I’ll have to arrange shipping and pay for customs by myself.

Highly not recommended, albeit beautiful designs, but the quality is not great, and there’s no international warranty. And customer service is… they tried their best but not the best. Only buy if you live in France, and would be ok to go through the trouble of exchanging or getting the items repaired.
