Quality feels excellent

This is my first time purchasing from Le Tanneur, and I am extremely happy with my bag. It is very elegant, the color is beautiful, and the quality feels excellent. The leather and finish are lovely, and it looks even better in real life than in the photos. It’s comfortable to carry and the perfect size for my daily essentials. I’m really looking forward to wearing it often and will definitely buy from Le Tanneur again.

The purse is pretty but the craftsmanship is off

The purse is pretty but the way the snap on the front sits is not straight. The leather is off center making it difficult to shut it and keep it shut.

Style, high quality at an attractive price.

Seamless transaction. Easy to navigate website, accurate and thorough product descriptions, photos that show the product well. Shipping updates very helpful - very fast delivery. Pricing that includes tax, duties & shipping is helpful. Very well made product with lasting style. Love the product. I purchased one bag in Paris & two online for my girlfriend. She loves them!

Bag did not hold up

I was genuinely so excited to purchase the Louise Large Tote in grained leather. This wasn’t an impulse buy, it was a big, meaningful purchase for me. I chose this bag because I believed I was investing in something timeless and high-quality, a leather bag I could carry for years and years, something that would age beautifully and stay with me through different stages of my life.

Because of the price and the brand’s reputation, I truly expected the leather to be durable and to hold up well over time. I never imagined that I would see noticeable wear within the first year. The leather is wearing down on the edges of the bag. Watching the bag wear down so quickly was honestly heartbreaking, especially because I took care of it and chose it specifically for longevity.

I contacted the company and they did nothing to resolve the situation. What made this experience so disappointing is that the bag simply did not live up to what I believed I was buying, a long-lasting, high-quality leather piece. I was already planning my next purchase from this company, but after this experience, I no longer feel confident investing again. I wanted this bag to be something I’d carry forever, and instead, it became a reminder of unmet expectations

Looks nice, poor quality, worse service

I received a travel jewellery pouch as a gift. While it looks appealing at first glance, the overall quality is extremely poor and does not justify the price. Customer service was initially responsive, but when I tried to resolve the issue, the tone changed completely. I was dismissed, and ultimately ignored despite following up. A brand that prioritises aesthetics over quality and avoids responsibility is not worth the money. Very disappointing experience.

I ordered from the U.S

I ordered from the U.S. and received the item fairly quickly. I loved the packaging !! The item has great quality and is well worth the price. Thaaaaaank you for paying attention to the details so well !! From the packing that smelled like perfume to the materials used for making this purse!!!

Disappointing return policy. Product’s fine

The quality of the product is good. The return policy and service really wasn’t up to par. Delivery service was paid and for a brand with this price tag, it would be expected to have the return for free or to be advised in advance about the amount. When requesting clarification, customer service said that such fees were advised in the screen during the return process. Not true and no possible to prove it. If it was true, an invoice would have been sent with the return label. But not. The only time you get to know the actual fees, it is after the product is already sent back.

Poor service and sent me broke dust bag

First purchased they sent me broken bag, and i refunded it, I thought they would send me a good replacement but after second purchased they sent me broken dust bag, but i was too lazy to refund again because from my first purchase i didn’t get fully refund money and if i refund again, totally i will lost 32 euro.
Really really disappointed.

I discovered Le Tanneur when I was in…

I discovered Le Tanneur when I was in Paris. Became a huge fan of the brand and have now purchased 2 purses and a wallet all of which I love. Very high quality leather and easy to order online. Pricing includes shipping and tax so the price you see is the price you pay and shipping is fast to the US.
