I hope that this review brings some transparency so that you can make more informed decisions about your possible future investments.
Lendermarket has unilaterally introduced “pending payments” and therefore decided to break the terms of the agreement made. This has severely affected my liquidity. Recently they have started to return a part of the owed amount but they have not provided any transparency as to when they intend to sort the situation.

Here is the evolution of the cumulative percentage that they returned of the amount that they owe to me since Nov 2023:
Nov 23 - 1%
Dec 23 - 1%
Jan 24 - 1%
Feb 24 - 5%
Mar 24 - 11%
Apr 24 - 27%
May 24 - 35%
Jun 24 - 42%
Jul 24 - 51%
Aug 24 - 51%

In other words, they owe me 49% of the amount they should have paid back in 2023.
I am happy to provide evidence to trustpilot if requested. For full transparency, I shall update this review with an evolution of these values. I hope the situation improves.

Initial review (2024):
Some improvement, finally...
I have been vocal about Pending Payments and the issue is still not fully resolved, that said the team is making efforts and deserves a chance:
- they have acknowledged that the amount of PP was not acceptable
- communication has improved massively with more honesty and transparency
- solutions are being implemented to pay back the PP from LM1
- PP (for now) are not an issue on LM2
Trust will take time to rebuild but it is normal to recognise the positive uptick, bearing in mind that so far there has been 0 default on LM.
The new LM2 interface remains poor and has lost some useful features from LM1, but one thing at a time I guess.
If improvements confirm, I will update the review, of course if they do not...

Update (2025): I am glad to say that LM is back on track. The new platform works fine, payments are done swiftly, pending payments issues have disappeared, and customer service is improving. Well done, and keep going!

I have been investing with Lendermarket for 3 years now investing up to €9000 at one point. But for the last 2 years every single loan from Creditstar has gone to pending payments and the 30 day buyback guarantee is more like "we pay you back when we feel like it."
I've spend the last 2 years withdrawing money as they come in at a slow trickle, but after 2 years of this there is still some €4700 remaining in the account.
Don't invest with Lendermarket.

The platform's website has a minimalist design, which I really like. All the necessary information is easily accessible, and I did not encounter any problems during registration or investing. The platform is an excellent tool for investing, both for beginners and experienced investors.

Impossible to delete account
I asked them several times to delete my account.

They keep sendig me a link to a google form, which does not work, because it requieres me to sign in with my mail address and a password.
I don't have an account with google with the mail address that i used to sign up with Lendermarket.

I tell them that the form does not work, but they just keep sending me a link to the same form over and over again.

Invested some time ago. My funds were stuck in pending payments for long time but finally I have been able to pay out the pending payments.

First of all, reliable service. Good communication. Most importantly, my money grows considerably. I don't have any problems navigating the website.

After switching to the new platform, cash flows became free. I could withdraw the money or reinvest it. Hopefully it will continue in the same spirit.

So far, my experience with Lendermarket has been smoother.
User onboarding and overall investing experience on the platform is excellent.

No complains about LM 2.0 so far. Most of the loan payments come on time. No extensions experienced.
Withdrawals carried out without delay.

I have been investing with Lendermarket for about 3 years. They have the highest return among their competitors. Although there was a pending payment issue for sometime, I can see that they did their best to resolve this. They always communicate with me and keep their promises during that process. Now all my pending payments are released.
Plus, the new platform feels very fresh and convenient.

Pleasant and simple UI, plenty of great investment options & good set of functionalities for the investors.
The platform is definitely developing and growing, so give it a try, sign up and start investing!

I've been investing on Lendermarket for 4.5 years now (5 digit sums). Returns have been high, platform works smoothly, many loan originators, but withdrawing the returns has been a very slow process because of pending payments. If they eventually manage to fix that, I might consider continuing to invest, but right now I can't say that the situation is very satisfying.

Edit: I received an email from Lendermarket about the next scheduled release dates for the pending payments. I hope they honor that, and gradually can improve the situation.

Edit 09.09.2024: withdrawals work normally, money arrives at my bank account usually on the same day, but the pending payments have increased a little.

Edit 31.05.2025: Everything is working well on LM2, very little pending payments. I'm adding more money and taking advantage of current cashback campaigns and 18% interest rate.
