We submitted our claim for our cat. After getting some details about his visit to the vet, they approved and said the money wound be sent over soon. I haven't checked yet, but I'd imagine it's already... See more

I have an active Lemonade renters policy (LP280F39306). I asked to turn off automatic renewal so my coverage would simply end at the end of the current term—I did not want to chase another step later.
I submitted the request through Lemonade’s own form and got a reply from support explaining the policy runs through April 5, 2027, but that because the next renewal isn’t in their system yet, they can’t cancel auto-renewal “today” and told me to wait for an automated renewal email and reply then.
That left me stuck: I had already asked clearly in writing, but I still don’t have a simple written confirmation that auto-renewal is off and that the policy will expire at the end of the term without my having to catch a future email to finish the job. I’m a Connecticut customer and have also followed up by email to several Lemonade addresses asking for that confirmation.
The process feels circular—form, answer, then “come back when our system is ready”—instead of a one-and-done opt-out of renewal. I’m posting this so others know what to expect if they want to decline renewal early and want it documented in writing.

Hiked the prices by 48% on pet insurance. No explanation why the increase. Terrible service, no one talk or chats- just the automatic agent and someone who sends messages on the phone. The customer services has no clue what they are talking about.

Very affordable and easy to use. The response time is fast and understandable the pet insurance has made a significant difference in my life and the renters insurance is such an easy process for myself and my landlord.

I don’t think I could make a worse insurance company if I tried. Between AI and uploading documents are claims and corresponding with the team. It’s a lot of not my department bs. Every claim I submit, I have to submit three times because it’s denied because they don’t know how to read or do their job. I feel like I literally work for the company just filing a claim.

Terrible service and unreliable. We had one of their clients hit us. The claim was filed but not a single call from the adjuster. I called 3 times and the same response is that they are out of office.
Lemonade is a lemon. Do not trust them.
