Just got back from a fabulous holiday…
Just got back from a fabulous holiday in Austria for the little trains journeys of the Tyrol mountains. Our crew Shaun and Rachel ensured we had the best experiences possible. The hotel was comfy and the food was good. Highly recommend this tour, it was stress free from start to finish

Ledger staff were very helpful when we changed our holiday to a different date, nothing was too much trouble.
We have travelled with Ledger on numerous occasions and will continue to do so the trips suit many tastes and are always filled with plenty of interesting places to visit and have lots of fun with the many interesting people on the trips.
I called Leger admin this morning to…change the date of my holiday.
I called Leger admin this morning to see if I could change the date of my holiday to the Normandy Landings due to a couple of operations that I have to have. Adele with whom I spoke with was absolutely brilliant. She was very friendly and efficient. 💯%👍

Very helpful staff when booking the little extras on the tour. Marcus and Richard were a great crew to travel with very attentive to all our needs and keeping us engaged. The Parador and Pousada accommodations and food were excellent.

We did the Normandy beaches tour and had an amazing experience. The drivers Martin and Jake were great and our tour guide Sharon was amazing. The tour was wonderful and lots of information we did not know. There was a great group on the coach and a lot of laughs. Sharon made the whole experience memorable and was made sure everyone was good all the time

We went on a tour of Northern Ireland and Dublin. The drivers Michael and John were brilliant. They couldn'nt do enough dor us, from suppkying regular drinks to feeding through information about the tour, ferry times etc. The City Hotel in Armagh which was our base was one of the best hotels we have stayed at, the rooms spacious and very clean, the amenities at the hotel are very good and the meals excellent with a wide variety of choice. My wife is a coaelic and has a nut allergy and the hotel staff catered for her very well. As ever this Shearings tour was first class and we have booked again for 2027.
Lovely coach
Lovely coach, with a great crew who couldn’t be
more helpful, I particularly liked Nigel’s choice of
music. The pick-up and transfers went like clockwork.
The hotel was very good, though we were not happy
with the room we were first allocated, it was not what
we expected on a premium tour, after upgrading our
room was perfect. The hotel staff were very good and
the food was good and plentiful, my wife’s gluten
intolerance was catered for.
The outbound stop in Liege was fine but the return
stop was not so good as there were few places to eat.
Overall a very good and interesting trip. The itinerary
was spot on, though the local guide was not the best.
We would definitely recommend.
Andy and Steve were great tour guides.
Andy and Steve were great tour guides.
The hotel in switzerland was spacious and provided a great breakfast.
The tours were fantastic and worth the extra you have to pay for some of them.
We had sun, rain and snow which didn't impact on our enjoyment at all .it was lovely to see the snow in switzerland.
Would highly recommend the silver service, more leg room than some other coaches we have used
Lovely to stop for an overnight instead of driving straight through to switzerland
Fantastic trip
Fantastic trip. Shaun and Rachel, went above and beyond. They made our break extra special, they were really helpful and knowledge about the areas. Would definitely travel Luxuria with them again, a credit to the company. Hotel really good, food and Service
Excellent service
A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Communication from the company was clear and helpful. All the staff we met were friendly, efficient and customer-focussed. The Luxuria coach was a pleasure to travel in (and I get travel sick!). The hotel in Austria was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Our drivers, Shaun and Rachel, were exceptional. The weather was less than helpful, and they went out of their way to ensure this impacted as little as possible on our enjoyment.
ITALIAN CAMPAIGN...A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE
From booking to return all was perfect..great drivers and guides from Harry and Martin to our tour guides David and Paul gave a 5 star service..we did the Italian campaign and although the first two days and the last two were long once into the tour so much was covered and the guides brought my imagination alive with information...it was a fun and educational time ...must add my wife had a bad slip on a smooth tiled floor in a shower causing mass bruising and head bang although the hotel was nice..also poor service in my experience at
meals at another at dinner where most had eaten two courses before my wife got her first..i walked out leaving my second on principle..the next night i went toilet and nothing there when returned..i left again not bothered..not Legers fault .
Really enjoyable Trip
Really enjoyable Trip.
This was our second Leger break and our first trip on a Luxuria coach. The extra cost is definitely worth it, especially if you are going to spend a long time on a coach. Super big comfy seats and great, in-seat entertainment. Even my husband who is over 6ft tall was very comfortable.
Steph and Steve our drivers did a good job getting us to where we needed to be in plenty of time. We had an expectation there might be some guided part to the tour but other than a couple of scripted pieces of information which was read out, there was not much. This is not a guided tour but they were happy to help where they could. My husband was especially delighted at the unscripted stop at the Tiger 1 .
Accommodation was in rather basic accommodation in Rouen. Not quite to Travelodge or Premier Inn standard but that said - the hotel and room was clean, the shower was one of the best I have used in a hotel with lots of hot water and good water pressure. There was free wifi. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hotel was not too far from the centre of Rouen although those with limited mobility might find it a challenge to go into town for an evening meal. We really did not spend much time in the room itself.
Rouen itself was a lovely town and we felt very safe. We would definitely go back. One issue was that the coach could not stop right outside the hotel to drop off and pick up passengers. Some passengers with more limited mobility found this challenging.
Maps were available from reception. There are lots of great places to eat in Rouen (we recommend Le Bouillon D'or) and a great cafe culture - you wont go hungry.
Versailles - the journey to Versailles was approximately 2 hours so it was an early start. Entry to the gardens is included but you need to book a slot to enter the Palais itself. Leger advises not pre-booking as the itinerary may change. I took the chance and prebooked the Passport which included the Palais, all areas and garden at Euro35 each. It was really busy - the Louvre is closed on a Tuesday which was our allocated day. We enjoyed it but it was very very busy. Some passengers were upset they had not booked earlier and there were limited entry slots available.
Monet's Garden- we had the morning at leisure in Rouen which was worth the time there. The cathedral is spectacular. Time to grab some sandwiches before travelling to Giverny. We were blessed with sunshine and the gardens were beautiful and everything we hoped they would be . This was the highlight of our break.
The final day was a fantastic day in the Pays d'Auge with Camembert and Calvados. We visited the Basilica at Lisieux, had a lunch stop at Vimoutier (where Marie Harel created Camembert), then onto a Camembert tasting session and then to a Cider and Calvados farm. It was really enjoyable but it was a long day and you need to be prepared for lots of getting on and off the coach.
On our last day, it was a very early start and a lot of waiting at Calais for the ferry trip home.
Overall, we had an enjoyable time and would recommend this tour but be prepared to be rather tired by the time you are coming back home! We would definitely travel on Luxuria again.

The most disgraceful and bullying from Leger Holidays, led by Paul Dillon.
He phoned me nine times hassling me.
I returned his email asking for questions to his allegations, but he refused to answer!
Speaks for itself and the bullying nature of Leger Holidays!

Hotel (a converted monastery)
The hotel (a converted monastery) is in a lovely, quiet location in the hills, with wonderful views.
The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the room that I stayed in, as a single traveller, was large, with fabulous views.
The free cookery class is a must. Informative, fun. It's held in the old chapel, which is beautiful and you get to cook your pasta in the hotel kitchen, and then eat the results of your efforts. Mine was amazing 😉
I also recommend the free wine tasting experience. You get a talk in the vineyard, along with a tour of the actual winemaking areas. This is completed by a tasting session along with some of their homemade products.
The final thing about the hotel is the staff. They are attentive, amazing, funny, and their customers service is excellent.
I'd like to give particular mention to Luigi the barman, Mario who seems to do just about everything, and Juliet who is so helpful and keen to ensure that you have a good experience.
Unfortunately, I don't know the names of the rest of the staff, but they are all so helpful, friendly and kind.
I'm only giving the trip four stars because some of the small villages that we visited had no shops or cafes open when we were there, so they wasn't really much to do.

Really easy to book and the Mybooking site is straightforward also
