Thank you for your feedback, Evelyn, and we understand the process can seem a bit confusing at first.

We want to clarify that in Canada, couples should each have their own separate Will rather than a single joint document. The standard approach is what's known as "Mirror Wills". That means two individual Wills with matching terms that name each other as primary beneficiary and executor.

Joint Wills (one document for two people) can create serious legal complications and are generally not recommended. LegalWills.ca makes it easy to create matching mirror Wills as a couple, so both you and your spouse are fully and properly covered.

If you need any assistance, please reach out to us at support@legalwills.ca, and our team will be glad to help.

Finally did it

It was simple, easy, cost effective and because of that at 64 I finally did it. My daughter had the laptop and filled in my answers so I could just think about what I wanted answered. I opted for the Power of Attorney and medical decisions package so I really have peace of mind now. I logged in next day when alone and did my personal message to her.

I paid $89.99 for 2 wills

I paid $89.99 for 2 wills. All went well until the end when the site asked for more money to print the full wills. This angered me and I would not recommend your will kit to anyone.

We're sorry to hear about your experience, Vince, and we understand your frustration. We've carefully reviewed your account, and while we can see that your accounts were created, we have no record of the $89.99 payment being received or processed by us. It appears the transaction did not go through. This would explain why the documents weren't fully accessible.

We genuinely want to get to the bottom of this and make things right. Please reach out to us at support@legalwills.ca with the receipt you may have received from your bank or credit card provider, and our team will investigate further. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to address this with you directly.
