I was rather hesitant at first, but I asked simple questions at each stage and received simple answers. Everything went smoothly. I was able to update from 2015-2 directly to 2024. You have to download a very big RAR file using software that can raise security or malware warnings, which I ignored to no ill-effect whatsoever. I used Vuze direct from Vuze to avoid unwanted bundles. The downloading took a very long time (wish I had done this at my previous address where I had 900Mbit broadband - only 70Mbit where I am now! The unpacking took a seriously long time and I have a very fast laptop! The USB has to be a 32GB not larger. Make sure yours is formatted to FAT32. Considering how long it took to unpack, I thought the actual install was relatively quick, and the process was pretty straightforward after entering the FSC code. Take each step one at a time and it's easy and very good value.

Downloaded the software for a Mercedes SatNav update to my PC but needed a small additional file to handle RAR files. Brian immediately provided additional details and a link for it. After that the process was entirely straight forward and I loaded the update to my car through an SD Card. The system in the car had never been updated before and it worked perfectly. Spoke to Brian before I ordered a fix/update for my satnav, he talked me through it and I ordered the fix! 2 days later it arrived with instructions and 2 hours later my satnav was fixed and upto date! Great service!! Great price!!

The card came the next day. I did have problems with it but Brian helped me through it, sent me the necessary software update on USB stick, when it still didn’t work he sent me another card and now it works fine. Very helpful and fast service. I would strongly recommend this company.

Updating navigation maps

I rarely write reviews as products and services should work as offered or described by sellers / resellers. If they don't work then a quick response and solution must be provided by the seller / reseller.

However, I have taken a moment out for this supplier because apon first use the new map SD card didn't work with the navigation system nor did the replacement but they made every effort to find a solution.

After a week or so and a few rounds of emails and screenshots at varying points attempting to make the navigation system work and searching the internet, it was concluded that the software in the car needed updating. The appropriate information was sent to update the system and we finally had success! I hasten to add, that patience and calmness is required.

I also have to add that before this issue, the garage I bought the car from said everything was up to date and all I had to do was buy was new map from them. Yes £££! This was when I had issues connecting Android Auto on the smartphone to the car. They said I needed original cables and not cheap ones. However, Android Auto still didn't work!

So the fact is it wasn't an issue with cables! It was the software not being up to date because Android Auto also miraculously worked even with cheap cables! This suggests that not all garages or mechanics are tech savvy and should really employ technicians for modern cars run by operating systems.

Hats off to this reseller for the additional support that should have been provided by the garage. I know where to come again in future. Highly recommended.

Very prompt delivery. Was updating a very old satnav system and that’s probably why the process was a bit fraught and tortuous but we eventually got there thanks to expert and very attentive guidance via email.

Initially I sought advice as to which updates would be required for two vehicles. Having then ordered satnav updates for a 2014 Mercedes and a 2012 Golf, the Golf SD card sent by post worked perfectly. I had some difficulty in copying the files from the emailed update for the Mercedes onto the original module. This was in part due to issues with the module. However, with Brian's assistance I was successful in getting the update transferred and it works perfectly also.

I emailed this company with a question regarding a map update for my BMW X5. With 45 minutes, I had exchanged emails with Brian, received the information that I required and in fact, purchased the required update. In my experience this is an outstanding example of superb customer support. If my experience was typical, I have no hesitation in recommending this company. I will definitely use them again.

Just updated my old Skoda Yeti by dvd. I am worst thing since High Tech. The procedure was so simple, push the dvd in the slot and all done. Brilliantly up to date, so easy to complete. Well done LatestSatNav.

The maps work fine. I did a run round a new estate that my previous maps on navigation were not showing, they all came up with street names etc. it took a few hours to load them on my Audi Q5 but well worth the efforts. Would definitely recommend and saved over £240 from what Audi dealership wanted.

I bought updates for my 2 BMW's, choosing this company because of its excellent reviews. The 1st car a F11, was easy. The 2nd car a F25 was a lot more involved and required a laptop at the car. I needed help with this (being a dinosaur with computers) and Brian was excellent, both on webchat and emails. He patiently saw me through the process until the new map was loaded.
I suggest that you pay the small amount extra and obtain the updates on a pre-loaded USB to simplify the proceedure.
I can totally recommend this company for your satnav updates.

Despite receiving the wrong swl discs twice, on sending them 2 photos of the Columbus they immediately dispatched the right swl disc which returned my Columbus to it’s original state. Great teamwork, pleasure to have dealt with them.

So happy I found Latestsatnav.co.uk - I was finally able to upgrade my VW RNS510 maps. Really helpful service throughout, always available on the chat and provided instructions for me to upgrade the unit myself as didnt want to wait for the items to deliver to Sweden so they helped me do it by dvd and SD card! My 2013 Mercedes ML63 has a hard drive Sat Nav (not disc) - having made contact with 'latestsatnav' the process to upgrade was made very straight forward from online purchase to the download onto an SD card (I'd now suggest just buying the card from them to save time) - update to car unit takes about 1hr 40m - not the complicated mission read about on Merc Forums, with no trip to MB Main Dealer required - great company offering a first class service.

I wanted the latest maps for my 2018 Merc C class. I made contact with them and they advised me which unit I had fitted to my vehicle and what maps I would need. I downloaded the software but couldn't get it to load to any of my USB drivers. The online chat was outstanding and talked me through every part of the procedure, Unfortunately it still wouldn't work ( I suspect this was down to me). They sent me a USB drive the following day and this uploaded without issue. I am now a very happy customer. First Class service.
