Awful customer service - Avoid this company at all costs!
This is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. If I could, it would get 0 star.
I received my package on January 20, and one item was missing. The package had been resealed with DHL duct tape, which suggested it might have been tampered with during delivery. At first, I didn’t think much of it—until I noticed the missing item.
I immediately contacted La Redoute, and they assured me they would handle it. Well, guess what? It has now been three weeks, and NOTHING has happened. I’ve followed up multiple times, only to receive the same robotic response: "vielen Dank, dass Sie sich wieder gemeldet haben. Wir haben Ihre Anfrage an DHL weitergeleitet, sobald wir eine Antwort erhalten haben werden wir Sie umgehend über die nächsten Schritte informieren."
To make matters worse, I also returned the other items a week ago and am still waiting for my refund (except for one, because I unpacked it upon arrival, otherwise it would have also been sent back). While I understand that refunds can take some time, it is completely unacceptable that I have not been refunded for the missing item.
Had I known it would be so complicated and take so long, I would have returned the package to DHL right away and filed an official claim myself. I'm certain I would have been refunded by now.
This was my second time shopping at La Redoute, and it will definitely be my last.
Avoid this company at all costs!
