Just don’t buy there

Just don‘t buy there. I bought a shelving Unit for 2800eur. One Element arrived damaged. Contacted customer service, the offered me 21eur (!) compensation. A long email exchange followed which lead nowhere. At the end PayPal buyer protection helped and I got compensation through PayPal. But even that process took two months as la Redoute claimed they never got back the piece of furniture, which was proven not to be true. Just don’t buy there, just don’t….

The WORST customer service

The WORST customer service. The responses that I keep getting to my questions don’t even feel like responding to the actual question I’m asking.

I ordered furniture for over 1500€ from them only to have them forward my address incorrectly to the shipping company. And when I realized that and got in touch with the shipping company I was told, I need to get in touch with Laredoute who basically responded saying that my items will be shipped back and that I can reorder the items again… mind you I paid 50€ for shipping already and I assume will not be refunded for that… plus I would still like the items that are currently still with the shipping company in my city but no one seems willing to do anything about it..

I have received set of 2 chairs which I…

I have received set of 2 chairs which I needed to assemble myself. The instructions provided completely is not clear, so someone who designed it should be fired. One crucial part in assembling is missing- which should indicate which 2 legs should be front (and there is markings on the metal) and which ones at the back. It took me a good hour to understand this and initially I thought I have received 2 faulty chairs. The chair is good for the price I paid and matched colour of my table perfectly- but the assembly part let it down a lot, therefore I give 2 stars

Awful customer service - Avoid this company at all costs!

This is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. If I could, it would get 0 star.

I received my package on January 20, and one item was missing. The package had been resealed with DHL duct tape, which suggested it might have been tampered with during delivery. At first, I didn’t think much of it—until I noticed the missing item.

I immediately contacted La Redoute, and they assured me they would handle it. Well, guess what? It has now been three weeks, and NOTHING has happened. I’ve followed up multiple times, only to receive the same robotic response: "vielen Dank, dass Sie sich wieder gemeldet haben. Wir haben Ihre Anfrage an DHL weitergeleitet, sobald wir eine Antwort erhalten haben werden wir Sie umgehend über die nächsten Schritte informieren."

To make matters worse, I also returned the other items a week ago and am still waiting for my refund (except for one, because I unpacked it upon arrival, otherwise it would have also been sent back). While I understand that refunds can take some time, it is completely unacceptable that I have not been refunded for the missing item.

Had I known it would be so complicated and take so long, I would have returned the package to DHL right away and filed an official claim myself. I'm certain I would have been refunded by now.

This was my second time shopping at La Redoute, and it will definitely be my last.
Avoid this company at all costs!

Customer service/return letdown

I am sorry to write this review because until now I really liked Laredoute.  But that's because I've never had to experience the customer support before.
The products are nice and also quality was always quite good.
However the process of return is a nightmare.
I wanted to return 2 items from my order and luckily one, The more expensive one, Went through because it was bulky and a pickup had to be arranged. With the other one that came even later and I inquired about the return well within the 30 day window was an impossible task.  By now we exchanged 12 emails where they listed steps how to return items, Even though not on the website,  nor on the app is there any button "Initiate return" Or "return this item".  I send a screenshot of my view 4 times saying there is no return button but they kept repeating the steps from the previous emails. The last email even when back to say that return policy is 30 days and this is outside of that period. That is of course not true as was established in one of the first emails that we exchanged and where they told me to go to my account and download the return label ( Which was of course nowhere to be found).  Their last email was concluded with "sorry we can help you further".  An absolute shitshow.  The whole customer service experience  made me unfortunately conclude I will not order from them anymore.

Bloody thieves! Lie about a product, send wrong tracking, keep lying, after 4 weeks cancelled the order but claim it was sent back and keep the shipping costs!

I give one star because I can not give 0.
I ordered a piece of furniture on the 7th of May. It was never delivered to me, there was no communication at all. I repeatedly contacted customer care and nothing has been done. As of the 19th of June, I am still waiting for a refund (~180 euros).
I received an email saying that the customer care is "investigating" and "asking the client to be patient". How long shall a client wait to get a refund for a never-delivered product? they have all the information on the DHL tracking link. It explicitly said that it is in a warehouse since the 23rd of May. This is simply outrageous.
Refund your clients. We do not have to make up for you incompetency.

Cancelled order after 5+ weeks of waiting for our bed frame

We had a really bad experience with La Redoutte because they cancelled our order after making us wait for 5+ weeks.
We ordered a bed and waited for 5 weeks, calling them twice to check where our delivery is. First, they told us it should arrive soon and that the delivery service will be in touch, then they said it's still in the warehouse waiting to be packaged and delivered, and then - out of nowhere - they just cancelled our purchase without any stated reason. We made the purchase when they had a sale but now we have to go through the whole process of finding a new bed, waiting for delivery PLUS paying more for it, all the time sleeping on only the mattress. Very bad customer experience!!

Terrible service after sending of broken chair

I bought a chair from La Redoute and it was delivered damaged. I was given three options: return it, get 20% of the value refunded or have a part replaced. I was unable to easily return it as the package is huge and I have no car; I argued that I should get a full refund of the product (value of only €30) as this would be cheaper than sending it back, the chair had no resale value as it was broken beyond safe use, and it would ultimately build goodwill with a customer. My emails were never properly read (they kept offering a replacement part, I said okay send me one, they then realised the replacement part was the whole chair, which I had said from he beginning, and they wouldn't do that); the company was deeply inflexible and seemed to be completely unaware of the inconvenience they were causing to a customer (after their fault). I asked them to do a pick up of the product, they wouldn't do that. I have no way of transporting the chairs to a DHL centre. Ultimately I will never buy from them again and will also tell my friends and family not to.

Never again - horrible company

A fraud. Bought a bed that broke after 6 months, was told guarantee is 30 days. This is against EU regulations. After threatening with lawyer they went radio silent and don't answer anymore. This company is a fraud and should be class sued and shut down, as it breaks eu regulations. Never ever buy anything here.

No refund on the item returned

We have returned an item we ordered there. After 3 months, we had not received any refund. I have written several emails to then, asking, when we can expect our refund. They replied to my emails and every time they have promised to send money back in 10 days, however we had not received any money back yet. The item was send back in a week after purchase in May and now is the middle of August.

No Refund for an Item Returned
