I ordered a piece a furniture, it came broken, they took 1 week to take it back, it has now been over 2 weeks with no refund and no updates.
So I received this furniture over a month ago and am still dealing with it today.
They sent me a link to review it on their website, I politely did and my review was censored, in 2024...
No news about th refund though and when I called they said they didn't know when they will receive the piece and process the refund.
So just avoid this site, it is not worth the hassle.
The staff is incompetent; I received a completely wrong delivery. When I complained, they automatically created a new order without consulting me. Now, I'm expected to pay for both the wrong order and the correct one, without them confirming if I'm okay with paying for the delivery again. As a customer, I shouldn't have to cover the cost of their mistakes. It's completely unacceptable.
Trash website. In the middle of ordering, the goods are gone from the shopping cart, discounts that are shown, aren’t applied after adding them to the shopping cart. Either a scam or fix your bugs! Waste of time.
I made an order for 4 items. After I'd paid they informed me that a jumper I'd ordered was out of stock and they had refunded me. However, the money never came back to my account. I contacted customer service 5 times about it but only received responses from their pathetic customer service agents saying that they'd issued the refund. I never got this money back! Also, the jeans I'd bought didn't fit. Even though I'd measured myself against the size chart. I'd also previously bought a pair of shorts from them where the hem came undone after 1 wash. DON'T shop at this site. They will take your money and you will not receive what you paid for!
Terrible - I ordered satin sheets. I received low quality cotton sheets, not shiny at all and so scratchy that I had to get rid of them after 1 night (160 CHF). They asked to rate my order, I wrote exactly the above - they answered that they were not going to post my comment because it does not follow their guidelines? Completely unethical.
Do not use this website. Of 3 items ordered, one is wrong and one is suddenly "not in stock"

La Redoute Suisse did not honour their terms of sale. I made a purchase on 28 November for CHF 228 worth of goods. After the items were marked as “delivered” on 2 December on La Redoute’s website, I contacted La Redoute because I had not received the delivery and there was no trace of a delivery post slip in my letterbox. La Redoute said to contact the Swiss Post to locate the missing delivery. The Swiss Post said that only the “sender” (La Redoute Suisse) can contact them to track the missing parcel. They said it is probably sitting in their distribution centre, and they simply need La Redoute Suisse to provide them with the tracking number and the invoice of missing items so that they can locate and re-deliver the missing parcel. I told La Redoute, but they refuse to send these details to Swiss Post – i.e. they refuse to cooperate with their own delivery partner. They then told me to report the missing delivery to the police, and that they are sorry for the inconvenience. Since then, they have not replied to my emails. In the meantime, they sent me an email asking for my opinion of the items that were never delivered. I provided a review stating that the goods were never delivered. They sent an auto reply stating that my review did not meet their review conditions and that it would therefore not be posted on their website. Quite possibly the worst customer service I have experienced– they have cheated me of CHF 228 worth of goods and have offered zero cooperation to locate the missing parcel, and zero compensation for the goods that I paid for, which they failed to deliver.

You order so many things for all the house and that you call ask if it is only possible to cancel order (just a question if it was not sent!!!!) and staff in a very rude way tell you: oh, like that! Ok! Probably we will not accept you as a client any more.

Clothing arrived within a week and seems to be of good quality.
I brought bedding from this company and just how awful is it - its ok if you want to spend 2 hours ironing it and its not cheap either - having to buy pillow cases separately - I wont even go there with the strange way it does up - two flats and not fastening?? When you fold it up to iron its not even squared so no chance of this ever looking fresh. Now washed 3 times and just started on the 3rd iron and hey its now screwed up and in a bin liner ready for a charity shop

Outrageous service. Terribly slow to react and then incompetent in solving my issue. I asked to cancel an order literally a day after I placed it, because at that point it was significantly reduced in price. I don’t hear anything for months and then they send me the same article twice. I send one back and get charged the more expensive article!!!!
I am having the worst experience with LaRedoute in Covid times. It is well known that the deliveries are delayed but after purchasing from countries like China and America, with all the proper caring and security measures, I can't believe LaRedoute trusts companies like Tammaro Logistics for domestic deliveries. I don't have my order for 2 months now, without any answer to my emails or updates about it. How would you feel? yeah...
This is a rating for their over-the-phone customer service. Just received a faulty order. Took photos, sent an email asking for a replacement in French. Called client service just to get an estimate of how long would a replacement take. The operator was beyond rude, borderline xenophobic. How can this company tolerate such discriminatory behaviour is beyond me. After telling him (in French) that I already sent the email, he mentioned he could not see it. I tried to explain that I only had just sent it, no more than 10 min so perhaps it was not yet visible in their systems, but before I could explain why I called he kept rudely interrupting me. So I asked if we can speak in English. He said yes and repeated the same lines without letting me say why I had called. After asking him to let me finish he said he already explained himself in French and English and that I had not mentioned in French that I sent the email (which I did at least 3 times) and he saw that my French "had problems" but here he is explaining in English. I asked him to be nicer to customers and he said he is, as next time he will not speak in English to help me. It was unbelievable...is this how you treat customers Laredoute.ch???
I keep returning to LaRedoute for their home items selection for many reasons: as an e-shop they`re very reliable, the delivery is very fast (no need to wait 2 weeks) and the products are very well described! Everything is transparent (what gets delivered, when, etc) and my experience is a joy every time!
I have placed an order on a furniture item which was quite pricey! 550.-SFr.
However, the next day I get an email telling me the item is not available! and that they will keep me posted as to when it will become available for shipping.
In the email, there is a phone number to contact that is supposed to give you the information you need, like answering a simple question of when will I be getting my shipment and even that proved to be too hard a question to answer!
This is lousy and unprofessional customer handling bordering on actual lying and exploitation of the customer's trust!
That to me is simply unacceptable. These big companies can not charge very pricey fees for their items and then shove you aside till the item becomes available at their own pace and time.
I would not recommend anyone place an order for expensive items with La Redoute Suisse because their handling of orders is not professional.

La Redoute have a lot of very nice products and I have been happy with the things that I have bought, but again the service and the delivery perspective is completely unacceptable.
I placed an order 14 days ago with a delivery time of 5-7 days.
Last time I ordered furniture from the site, it ended up taking 1,5 month until I received my order. I had a lot of correspondence with La Redoute costumer service, Switzerland and they promised to change their handling which ultimately lead me to place an order again.
I have again been in contact with costumer service - very unfriendly person, who made it sound as if my patience was to blame and instead of being service orientated said that she would cancel my order. WHAT?
She could not give me any exact details about when I can expect to have my furniture delivered and her tone was anything but respectful.
So in short: If you order, please do not expect to have either good service or a delivery on time.
