Would not recommend
Only used twice and my hair has grown back thicker and darker already! Tried to get a refund but have been told I need to use it for 60 days before I can get a refund to give it time to work. I am sceptical about continuing to use it as it has already had negative effects. Not sure all these reviews and those on the website are genuine. Would not recommend!

Great customer service.
It sad and frustrating that so many fake reviews means we truly don't know who to trust or believe.
My experience was great in the sense of customer service I received. I ordered the item and then panicked having read confusing reviews. I had a prompt reply and cancellation of my order with my funds back in my account within the 3-5days window stipulated.

Fake reviews led me to buy this
8 days after ordering this item I hadn't received any communication on expected dispatch from the company. At the same time I saw that the 5* reviews on Trust Pilot that I had based my purchase on had been taken down due to large numbers of fake reviews being posted, so I emailed the company to cancel. 5 hours after my message Lanveza replied that logistics errors had unfortunately delayed the dispatch, but advised that the parcel had actually been sent out the day before, albeit with no confirmation of dispatch to me. After seeing reports of re-stocking fees of £90 being charged to purchasers, even if the item is returned under their own 90 day guarantee policy, I referred the purchase to my credit card provider who raised a dispute on my behalf.
As the product eventually arrived I returned the unopened package to Lanveza who charged a whopping £88.12 re-stocking fee. They are getting away with this purely because of their T&C's. My credit card company advised that if the product did not work I would have to lodge a claim within 4 weeks, but Lanveza's returns policy is for a trial of 90 days use, meaning that there would be no way to claim under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act if the 90 days trial was completed. Please, please, please, do not buy from this company.

I ordered this product after reading a comparison on the product which was sponsored on a fake site called trust pilot beauty which was a sponsored website link on Google search engine, I ordered item then found the real trust pilot reviews and was upset to realise I was duped.
Like others on this site 10 mins after ordering at 9pm at night I tried to cancel. I raised a case with PayPal as I had paid that way. I was advised by PayPal online support that I must get the company to cancel but of course like everyone’s else’s experience they refused.
I called PayPal to speak to an agent and they were so helpful. They escalated my case which I lodged the previous night and an hour later I received a notification that they found in my favour and refunded my payment.
I would advise anyone who paid or pays with PayPal to lodge a complaint and create a case as when you see PayPal as a payment option on a site you automatically think it’s a safe company and that is clearly not the case. The more people who report this the faster these fake companies with fake products will be closed down.

When I say fake, I mean products that don’t work. They know they are selling a machine that won’t work. You will get a product but you won’t be able to send back, they try to hold you to ransom for a £60 restocking Fee for a product that is fake. Please be aware of this company. If you check company house Registary for the legitimacy of this company you will see the owner is registered for multiple companies with no tax returns for most which is a red flag.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam. Product does not work and I have pale skin dark hair and no hormonal issues that would cause it not to work, used it for at least 2 months weekly. They are refusing to refund my money saying that I am to send them photos of my skin to prove it didn't work? I do not want to send this scam company photos of my body or skin and they don't make this clear at first that it's a requirement for refund, the machine doesn't work at all that should allow for a refund! Am in contact with Citizens Advice and other consumer rights groups to get my money back. All the good reviews are fake and are actively removed.

Nearly 6 months of use and no results
EDIT AFTER REPLY: Do not trust this company.
Firstly, a standard reply, "blaming" me for not getting results when I know for a fact I have used your product correctly, is not going to change my mind about this company. Telling me about your 90-day guarantee nearly six months after leaving a review is useless. I've had the handset for nearly a year now, I do not have my order number anymore. I almost forgot I had it by this point.
I also stand by what I said, Lanveza is not to be trusted. I checked, they have over 20k reviews on their own website and nothing seems to be below 5 stars. I know for a fact I left a negative review on there and cannot find it anywhere. On top of that, a minimum of 5 pages (pages 62-66) are filled with 'no comment' 5 star reviews left by a 'J***' on 12/09/2019. Do not tell me that your rating on Trustpilot is because of competitors leaving fake bad reviews.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was a waste of money. After using every week for 12 weeks, I found the growth seemed to be lessening in some areas (lower leg/calf), but barely any difference in my bikini area and underarms. I continued and still no difference after nearly 6 months of weekly use, on the highest setting, going over the same areas multiple times per treatment. I also noticed the hair that was thinning has now mostly grown back after not using for only two weeks. I’m just going to invest in an epilator until I can afford proper laser hair removal
For reference, I do not have any health issues that could cause problems with hair growth or hirsutism, my skin is fair/light and my hair is dark. There is no way this is due to anything else other than the product not working.
It also seems worth noting how the company seem to have so many 1 star reviews here and only 5 star reviews on their website.

Amazing Customer service
I have purchased the Lanveza device and have been using it for several weeks, with no result. Went on to return the device, with a little bit of scepticism to the Money Back Guarantee promise- I couldn't have been more wrong! Received absolutely fantastic customer care from Anastasia, who professionally managed my return and money refund. She was extremely helpful and super-kind. Wish all sellers could be as honest as this lovely lady! Even though the product didn't work for me, I'm giving it 5* for their customer service- thank you!

Very satisfied! For the first few weeks of treatment I thought For sure it wasn't working and I had gotten ripped off. I'm now in my 10th week and I can honestly say the lanvesa produces real results! My upper lip is completely hair free and my bikini line as well. I am so pleases with this at home ipl system! Never thought this could be true for so little money.

Underhand practices and T&Cs
I will caveat this review by saying I have not used the product but the experience of the company has been one of the worst.
Like others when ordering the IPL device I was upsold accessories in the form of glasses and a cream, the final cost of these items were not confirmed at the time the offer was made, just that they were cut price, upon accepting the offer for the additional accessories, my card was charged before having a chance to review the total final price or confirm my order of the IPL device itself. A total of £56.94, £29.97 of which was safety glasses (worth a fraction of the price charged), the same safety glasses they claim you don’t need in the FAQs. I contacted customer service immediately and was politely informed that the items would be cancelled and apologies for the inconvenience.
Upon receiving the IPL device I decided to return the device unopened, feeling sure that my right to cancel and 14 day cool off period would be respected like any other UK based seller (even though these items are drop shipped from China). I was wrong, instead I was reffered to their T&Cs, which they seem to think trumps basic consumer rights, to inform me there would be a $75(£61) ‘restocking fee’ on my unopened £150 device. A device which you will find unbranded available through multiple sellers on well known Chinese ecommerce site for under £20, not sure how a restocking fee of $75(£61) is justified for this product, other than they expect many to want to return the item upon receiving it and/or reading these reviews.
So I am left in a situation where I either accept the boarder-line extortion that is their ‘restocking fee’ worth 3 times the value of the product, or risk opening the item and attempt to conclusively prove its inadequacies that others have highlighted and risk getting nothing back at all.
In short, try somewhere else, spend a little more and avoid this company.
UPDATE 1/12/23:
So the seller is clearly starting to feel the pinch of all the negative reviews, almost a year after my experience and this review, I recieved an email from Trustpilot asking to update my review with info to confirm its legitamacy, such as order number etc (which i have).
Lanveza are clearly going back through their review history, flagging negative reviews as fake and hoping that no one bothers to add the additonal info, meaning the reivew can be removed.
DO NOT BE FOOLED.

This handset DOES NOT WORK. It is a glorified light, you’d be as well shining your phones torch on your hairs it’s that useless. The 90 day money back guarantee is very strict, if you miss a photo, you’re not getting your money back, which lets face it, is a total scam. Surely hair should be declining, and this should be obvious from a handful of photos, not militant weekly snaps. I missed the opportunity to return mine due to being on holiday with no phone reciption so I’m stuck with this heap of junk. Please, please, please don’t give your money to these people, IT IS A SCAM!! Save up and spend it on an actual brand, with actual results and an actual money back guarantee. Gutted I didn’t see these reviews first.

Absolutely disgusted with how this company processes your order .
It told me I needed the glasses and cream so added them and before I knew it I've purchased £60 worth of extra stuff that in your small print it even says you don't need the glasses !!! I didn't even get a choice it just took the money!

If I had a enquiry I had a prompt response from Lanveza. There tracking was very helpful. When the package arrived in the hands of Australia Post they were not helpful at all but I could count on Lanveza for the right information.
