Wish I could give zero stars. I had no bad experiences on the site but when I wanna close my account they refused to do so after several mailings. A certain Roger kept replying my mails without closing my account. In the morning an other employee closed my account immediatly without any hesitations. I've had a horrible experience with Roger.

I have met two or three women on this site. They seem very normal and quickly send photos the emails and photos quickly make you go bankrupt. They are very expensive. If you ask, most of them will send you naked pictures, which is really weird, who does that when they’re trying to find a mate? The last girl I’ve been speaking with I thought I could trick her by asking her to send me a photo blowing me a kiss, and she did it instantly, which made me trust her at midnight her time, I needed to go and she said she needed to go to bed, but I noticed at 3 AM her time, she was still online. So I texted her and she answered in 10 seconds. Now I’m very suspicious. I told her it’s extremely expensive to keep communicating this way. So I gave her my email address and said please help me and let’s just communicate an email. She refused like the other four girls that I met. Now I understand. It is a real human being on the other end and they are being paid money to generate money. And to make money, you better be up all night long because that’s what time it is in the United States. In my opinion, this is 100% a full scam.

A TRAP to take your money, you register with name and email, immediately they write to you like crazy impostors, fake profiles, photos and videos altered with AI, if you ask something related to them they don't answer you, they put an AI video of the supposed girl and for watching it they charge you 25 lana coins (credits) each, a video where she waves and opens her mouth a little AI, they send you a virtual envelope to open it they charge you other credits, if you want to send an emoticon other credits, they flatter you repeatedly and if you ask personal questions you will only get evasive answers. A total fake with staged and edited photos of pretty faces and slender bodies. They say that your bank statement will not reflect the name lanadates and this is yet another lie, my bank statement shows lanadates.

This app is essentially dating fairytales with AI models. Like being a geek walking into a Hollywood party, and all the beautiful A-list actors surrounding me and clutching onto my every word, and whispering lines like "I’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time 😊" And ... "Do you want me to be your first morning kiss and your last evening whisper? 💋🌙" and "Sometimes I just want to be a voice in your ear… whispering about desires while you lie in the dark". Oh, and I never sent a word to earn any of these messages. The free period is ending, and I now need to pay for "coins" to continue receiving such flattery.
UPDATE 3 MOS LATER
Trust Pilot contacts me 3 months after this review to challenge me to provide additional information on my experience, or Trust Pilot may terminate my review. First, LanaDate waits 3.5 mos to respond to this review? That speaks volumes. Second, Trust Pilot, shame on you for even honoring such a request after such a long time period.

It is obvious that one or more of the following is true, but I'll preface it by saying that thus far I have not invested a penny. I wanted to read the negative reviews before proceeding any further and I am glad I did just that!
Take note of two things: 1) All 7 of the "women" who texted me were between 30 and 50 years old (supposedly) and are ALL exceedingly beautiful in the photos they posted, which are undoubtedly professional models and not real women looking for real relationships and 2) None answered my straightforward questions but gave either vague answers or nothing related to my question(s).
Do, you find out for yourself, but for me, my advice is caveat emptor (let the man seeking love "here" BEWARE)!

After using LanaDate for about a week. I have found that the profiles are not the real women. They are culminated images and videos from other locations. Images are doctored and posted using AI bots to men logging in. An actual user is sitting responding to certain chats. Others are AI. A site admin will portray the woman and convince you to use up your credits and recharge, to bleed you again. If they respond to any negative reviews, like this one, they'll claim the user wasn't verified and that's why they didn't talk to the real women or something new. ALL LIES! Once I uncovered their scharade, they began throwing insults and sexual derogatory remarks at me. Many of these positive reviews are from LanaDate, Don't Be Fooled!
Do not use this site if you're looking for a relationship, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

Guess what? I met a painter who creates stunning abstract pieces. We bonded over art feeds and shared brushes and color palettes.. She taught me watercolors while I showed her digital art tricks. Our creative collab turned into a real spark that I’m excited about exploring further.

They do not do anything if you encouter problems , like filters not working and selection of regions ! They keep sending the same answer '' We are sorry and we are working to seek a solution '' . On top of that they steal money as they close your account before you have told them to do so ?? Thus you cannot use whatever was left moneywise ! In my country this is called THEFT .

They never meet the girls. All that reviews are not legit.

This is one of, if not the worst dating sites I have experienced!
Just a money sucking pit for men! All the women are stunning, how can all the ladies be single & so beautiful, what a load of crap! 🤣
From one man to another, STAY AWAY from this site! Do not invest your money!
Or, just join, it costs you nothing up front & check out how stunning the ladies are, they all contact you to “Suck” your money out of you, won’t take long till you’ve been drained of your Lanacoins 🤣
You know it’s fake or AI generated when the same girl contacts you every day & has no idea that you have already been speaking to her for the last few days 🤔, mmmm, very suss!
I’m going to finish my review by saying…..DO NOT BUY Lanacoins, you’ll need a mortgage to fund it!
These sites should not be allowed to operate & suck cash out of vulnerable men looking for legitimate partners!
The operators of this site should be embarrassed 😞

Insanely expensive. 3-5 $ per message with a picture or a video. Lot of beautiful wonen. Too good to be true mostly.

Even though I have given them fair warning to deactivate my account, they persist in not complying, I have just received another unsolicited email. Pure and simple, this site is a scam, that they will have their hand in your pocket, with very little to no results. Others have left comments, that through my own experience, I can vouch, are genuine. The photos of participants are generally of a professional nature. Incidentally, the one I was conversing with, in some shots, was wearing what appears to be a wedding ring upon her ring finger. I enlarged the image to inspect it more closely.
She kept pestering me about my marital status.
I asked her a very simple question about her background, where she was from, area and not being too specific. Small talk, getting to know you questions. She answered in a way NO Aussie country girl would answer. My suspicions grew.
I asked her about her unusual name, that I had never heard it before . She answered by .... misspelling her own name. Said it was common in Australia. I have a background in law enforcement, that's the first and only time I have heard it. Ever!
She said that she worked in a certain profession that I actually know rarely works weekends, if at all. Asking her out for coffee the weekend following, said work was "piling up", so would be unlikely to be available. Plenty of notice, said she was keen, lived nearby (or so she alluded to), but didn't bother to make any further arrangements, even if after work. But, the messages kept coming on how interested she was.
And yes, like someone else whom wrote a critique, these girls on this site, rarely if ever, sleep. No matter what time of day, she was online.
She claimed, and verified, that she worked in a certain profession, that is essentially, a blue collar profession. The straw that broke the camel's back, was one photo where she was wearing a designer label T-Shirt in a very professional shot. An investigation by myself, revealed these T-Shirts to retail for approx $500-700. Yep, a true Blue collar worker.
As I write this, my account is still active, although I requested through their customer service, to deactivate it (I have never heard of this happening).
If I receive another email from them, next stop will be the telecommunications ombudsman.
And an observation. Notice how the pattern emerges when a glowing testimonial is given, it is usually written by a person whom has submitted one review only. Most of the poor reviews are by people who have written more than once. Not making any assumptions, only that you might draw a conclusion.
I'll leave you to be the judge, however, you have been warned. Pursue this site at your own peril.
Update August 2025.
It just goes to show how brazen and smug they think they are, they've hacked my account, even after saying I had a law enforcement background. And, as I understand, they've tried numerous times this very month, one slipped through to the keeper, but was caught!I
AT NO STAGE or time did I SIGN to a subscription or GIVE ANY authorisation for Lanadate to access my account.
I've now engaged the fraud department. This is after months of saying that it was near impossible to cancel my account. They are schysters.
One wish is I would love to see this company banned in Australia, and being politically active, they just may go the way of Google, YouTube and Meta etc. I will make representations to see that happens.
They are literally a wolf in sheep's clothing.
My only other wish is for them to be in Australia, then I most certainly would have a go at them. We have reciprocal laws with England, perhaps that's another avenue I will explore
Gee whiz, Lanadate, you did request in your response you wanted me to update my review to reflect a more fair and balanced critique. Well, here it is. I hope this meets with your utter DISAPPROVAL.

Fake . All fake! No real accounts. And you have to pay for everything you do inside. You want to talk you have to pay . You want to send emoticon, you have to pay you want to see somebody's pictures you have to pay. Is just a big market. Nothing more!

LanaDate probably bribed the written reviews here because noone mentions the scam on this site. On top of it, the positive reviews all write about the same things like "live cooking, exchange recipe, exchange playlist, exchange songs, etc." like those bots on this site, no normal living human being would write like that.
First minutes login, pretty much got at least 10 girls already who spamed me with love texts and photos, despite to not having anything on my profile.
You have 10 tries to write back, then you HAVE TO buy credit in order to write back again. Of course you should not buy credit to write, thats robbery.
And thats the business of this site, the girls(99,9% fake profiles with model photos stolen from random Instagram users) will spam you with texts, some even try to Gaslight you in order for you to use your credit to write.
Its a gold mine for them because gulible people who never witnessed the history of internet are easy prey.
Be careful, those sites are full of scam artists.
Attention:
Lanadate.com accuse me and probably other users to be bots just because we speak up about this SCAM! Of course i will not verify my account because first i already deleted my Account because Lanadate.com refuses to delete and second they will ignore my complaint anyways. The audacity!

I have read reviews about lanadate and I agree. It's 💯% scam. From the moment you create an account, you are bombarded with messages from individuals who appear to be of Ukrainian background and apparently they live in the USA or are they? It costed me just over $100 and nevertheless it was my choice to waste that money just to see the outcome. To send a message it costs 2 lana credits. The interesting part is that, that you can chat with these individuals but they then start to send you videos and letters which it will cost 50, 60 credits to open them. When question these individuals about it, they refrain from giving an explanation. Why? They can easily tell you in the chat window what they written in their letters and they can also easily upload photos and videos in the chat window but instead they want you to open the letters and videos because they cost you more. I am sure the site admins will respond to this with all sorts of explanations to cover their scam. Many if not the majority of profiles are online 24/7 and you will get a response within a split second. Do this individuals ever sleep or do they work on shifts or are they on speed? When it's time to delete the account, you need to open another chat window and request it and the person behind that chat window will try their part now to stop you from deleting your account. In my case he asked for more info as to why I was closing the account. There shouldn't be any questions or pressure to stop anyone from deleting their account. It's not their business. The bottom line is that lanadate is not the dating site to find a decent woman but rather, it's there to fool every man. Please don't waste your hard working money with that site, I am sure there are other dating sites that are legitimate. As for the admins of lanadate, you can come back with all the bull dust under the sun and it will make no difference. Your site is fraudulent. One more thing, do a search to see how individuals are making money from dating sites like this one. Just type "how to make money from dating site" and you will understand what is really going on.
To their reply.
Their eager to connect with anyone and their quick responses cannot be seen as a genuine sign of interest but rather the opposite. Please go sell your mambo jumbo elsewhere. You are a fraudulent site. End of story.

Scam site. The girls want to chat and send pictures which costs money but they need to think about meeting for a coffee. They are on line constantly. They write the same stuff and ask ridiculous questions over and over. Either bots or paid groups but not real girls
