I've both pre-ordered and ordered multiple albums from KPOP TOWN over many years. Although they take a while to ship, the albums always come in great condition and in secure packaging. They ship out from Daegu so I can assume a third party does not handle the albums (unlike some other sites). The shipping is a bit costly but I don't mind paying when they're in good condition. They also have the option to order specific versions of albums (if available) instead of receiving a random one. Also, for some albums they include special photocards only available from the site which is always awesome! I definitely recommend it!

I've been buying from Kpoptown for about 2 years now and I have never had any problems with them. I always received my packages on time or sometimes even earlier than expected and they wrap my albums and merchandise very well and in a safe manner. They have become my go to shop and 1st choice of service in all things kpop and costumer service has been very kind and accomodating when making requests for items that are not on their site to be sold. Highly recommend!!

This was my first time ordering from kpoptown and I will NOT come back to order again. I Pre-ordered the same day the pre-orders opened for LOONA's YYXY Limited album (Beauty&thebeast) I wait until a few days after the release date and it still don't ship, so I send a message and tell them I want my money back immediately unless they ship out my items. They reply with apologizing and telling me that the albums sold out and that they will restock in another 2 weeks. Which is absurd I PRE-ORDERED? Then they proceeded to refuse to give me back my money because I would get an album in the next restock. If the case of an album selling out, why not inform the buyer? Poor excuses.

Very bad. I ordered two nct 2018 albums along with some other albums and paid for express shipping. After a week my parcel didn’t come so I emailed them. They told me the nct albums were missing pages but they would send it out by next week so I said I would wait for them. Two weeks later my parcel still didn’t arrive. I emailed them again asking the whereabouts of my parcel and if I could get any compensation since I paid for express shipping and it hadn’t gotten to me after three weeks. They said they needed to restock the nct albums again which I understand however the least they could do was email me about this. They completely disregarded the part about being compensated and said they would send it the next day. It’s unacceptable that I still haven’t received any email confirming it’s been sent and it’s been three days since their last email to me. They reply late to emails so it’s very difficult to communicate your point to them. Not buying from kpoptown in the future. Their postage prices are ridiculous anyway. They’ve definitely lost a customer

Ordered an EXO album last year. Never got it and when I contacted them they just sent me a copy of the paypal receipt saying that the money is already received so they can't do anything. Don't bother ordering from this site, find a legit website like Synnara or something.

I've been ordering off of kpoptown for several years and (having used other sites such as kpopmart and yesasia) can say I wholeheartedly prefer kpoptown. I recently ordered 4 albums (including red velvet bad boy repackage) which was released on January 30th and received the albums today (February 8th). The delivery time was for 7-14 days after being sent to the post office, so about 5 days total for shipping. The albums come wrapped in their plastic, covered in bubble wrap and the empty space inside is filled with packing foam. I heard someone complain about the packaging and I have never had a problem.

I have also dealt with customer service previously when I was sent a face mask instead of a serum. A simple email to the customer support and picture of the item I received by mistake and they said they would send my actual item out. I received the item with no problems within a few weeks of reporting the issue.

I was a little skeptical to order the Block B Remontage album from here considering all the bad reviews, but really, there's nothing wrong with kpoptown. It seems like some people have really bad experiences and others have good experiences. Overall my order was shipped within 4 days of ordering and it got to me in another 4 days, even though I only had k-packet shipping, not even EMS. I'm in The Netherlands btw. Shipping info updated quickly and they were actually a LOT faster than kpopmart where I usually order from.

The only downside might be that it looked more like I was accepting a package of drugs at my doorstep instead of an album lmfao. The album was sealed in TONS AND TONS of bubble wrap (no damage yay!) and then put in one of those small grey bags. That bag was then sealed with transparent tape. Like i said it looked weird, but kpoptown is, in my experience, trustworthy, fast, and safe. Just thought to let yall know this isnt a scam, not in my case anyway.

My first time buying in Kpoptown I got my 2 orders in just 2 weeks. Even though I didn't have the track number it came in perfect condition and the shipping was good. I recommend this to buy it from this store but in my personal opinion I have great experience with them. I will continue buying kpoptown since overall they are the best in delivering and have great experience with my package in perfect shape. Also they give me a bonus gift since I buy 4 album in my two orders.

KPOPTOWN are an absolute joke of a company. Poor customer service doesn’t even begin to describe just how terrible they are.

On the 30th October 2017, I pre-ordered Super Junior’s Play for a group order. The order was large so it automatically was designated EMS shipping which, on their website, says takes around 3 to 5 days. Pretty normal for any EMS coming to the UK from South Korea, so I accepted the terms.

The album was released on 6th November and was to be sent out within 2-3 days however this was not the case. I messaged KPOPTOWN 3 days after the album had been released asking for a status update as the website had just shown the “payment accepted” status as it did when I first ordered. No reply. I put this down to perhaps lots of orders and chose to wait it out for a little while longer.

7 days later, my albums had still not been shipped nor had they replied to my email so I emailed them again and was ignored again. At this point I was getting pretty tetchy so I messaged again. And again. And again. Overall, I sent them 5 messaged before finally I threatened to open a case against them in Paypal and cancel my order. Of course, they replied to that email and apologised for the delay. This was 10 days after the album’s initial release. There was no explanation for the delay, just an apology.

The albums were then shipped two days later, a whole 12 days after the release. For someone who PAID for EMS shipping, this is just simply not good enough. The shipping charge was well over £100 and for any other company, the albums would have been with me that same week.

Save yourself a headache and DO NOT order from kpoptown. I wish I had just paid the extra and went with yesasia to save hassle.

i wanted to order the song 'really really' for a friend, who loves that song. on kpoptown i checked out the last release of the band winner. the last album got two versions and according to the website of kpoptown one version was supposed to have the song. but that was a wrong information, both versions have the same songs. i am not familiar with this group and contacted the support. they refused to cancel my order and i told them that i dont need the wrong songs/product and asked them about the best solution. the reply i got was the rudest thing i have ever witnessed from a customer service. they ask me why i did not pay attention to the album title. of course i am not paying attention to the album title and only to the tracklist. who in their right mind buys a cd because the title name? i am not familiar with their albums and of course i only pay attention to the tracklist. i dont care if the album got a pretty title. i am mad, the product with wrong tracklist got revised and is not available at the moment. dont order from them. this was the last time i spend my money for their rude services. they dont even acknowledge their own mistake and try bully the customers. im a soft soul and this unfairness hurt me badly.

Positive:
+ Got pretty fast shipping in reasonable price with tracking by choosing K-Packet option. The packet was shipped on Monday and arrived on Friday! I was very satisfied because I've only used AirMail before which takes from 2 weeks to 1 month to arrive.

Negative:
- Preordered album was shipped a week after the release date. This may be undestandable because it was the popular BTS Her album.
- I ordered two albums and they were shipped in mere bubble wrap! So there was some damage on the album covers. :( Other places I've ordered have always been packaged in cardboard box in addition to a lot of bubblewrap, so I was disappointed. Because of this I will really consider other sites the next time I order albums.

I preordered bts' album Her to England. The predicted shipping was 2-4 weeks and it arrived within 15 days in perfect conditions - what more could I ask for. This site had the best reviews I could find as well as being the cheapest for me, and I would 100% use again

I pre-ordered the EXO The War Repackaged Album three days before it got released and paid instantly.

They emailed saying that payment was received and that the item would be shipped as soon as it arrived. They shipped it one day after. I chose the K-packet option which was trackable and was supposed to take 10-15 business days to arrive. It arrived exactly one week after it was sent therefore only 5 working days which I was so happy about. I live in Fiji BTW :)

Definitely recommend them when you start in purchasing K-pop stuff.

I have order two time before, no problem...

But now so many problems and a very bad customer service...

For one of my order, they are asking me money because there shipping calculator isn't working. The shipping I paid was very vey high and they ask for 5 more US$

And an other order after, one of the item is sold-out and the said maybe they won't refund the shipping that I paid for the sold-out item. See what they send me : "we will ship possible items and refund for sold out items' price and left shipping cost if any after shipping your package."

I'm so angry at them right now. I preordered three albums and they came out in February, and I got my email saying that they were shipped on the 16th of February, yet I still have not received them yet. It's April already and I have to move next week, so I guess I'm never seeing my albums and will have to re buy off of another site. KpopTowns customer service is absolutely useless and it's all automatic computer responses that don't help me at all. They basically just took my money and ran.

I've never run into any problems with them. I've compared prices of albums and other products on various sites and this seems to always be the cheapest. My packages are well-protected with lots of bubble wrap! Keep in mind I always pick the cheapest shipping but my items haven't gotten lost or anything~ (I'm located in the US for reference) Recently, I've been getting my orders a few days or even a week earlier than usual. Highly recommend this site!

KPopTown generally tends to be a great vendor but it has minor flaws.
Shipping charges becoming increasingly more expensive the more products you add to the cart and the alternative shipping methods don't offer much price reduction unlike stores such as KTown4U. However the prices of the albums tend to be generally cheap.

Customer support can sometimes take a while to reply but are usually pretty helpful. I recently ordered an album with a folded poster and never received the poster. I contacted customer support but they told me it would eventually arrive as I've "ordered an unfolded poster" despite me ordering a 'folded' poster. A month later and still nothing.

I am a returning customer and will continue to use the service but I am disappointed with my most recent purchase.

In general Kpoptown delivers a good and fast service. I would like to highlight their shipping because even though I always pick the cheapest shipping, the package never arrives later than 2 weeks after it was shipped, I never have to deal with paying extra fees either and I live as far away as Scandinavia.
I've lately experienced an unfortunate episode with Kpoptown in which they sent me the wrong poster (This has happened before but they were able to sent me the right one) and when I contacted them they failed to clearly express that the other posters were sold out. I had to put a lot of pressure on them in order to get a voucher of the same value as the poster and fearing that it will happen again I might have to look for a new place to order kpop merch.

I was so happy to find this website and I've ordered jewelry, CDs and cosmetics from it, and everything has been great. Everything is good quality and affordable as well!
