Be very careful to order from this company these days, they have 0 management skill. Placed a pre order an yr ago, never have any updates on it till I sent the email asked about the order. And I been told the items are not available. Yes, after one year I paid for the items , and after I sent an email. Still waiting for my refund, and I hope I don't have to sue them to get my money back.

Amazing after purchase support
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this company went above and beyond to help me with my coilovers .
I bought a set of coilovers from them last month and took it to a local shop to get them installed. Once installed I was not too happy with the looks, so I reached out to Kami to see how I could fix the issue as the shop wouldn’t adjust them without a fee.
Instead of brushing me off, Brian over at Kami, assisted me with the adjustments and we were able to get it to the height I wanted.
These guys are extremely knowledgeable and I’m glad I bought my suspension from them. They will be my go to store from here on out as after help is extremely important to me, specially on the DIY stuff.

Over 2 month waiting and still nothing
I purchased a steering wheel at 28. September 2023. Almost 2 months later I didn’t received it yet. In October I’ve got an email after I requested some information, that the product will be there till mid November. They also asked for my phone number so I can get further information of the shipping status.
I did not received anything. Last week I asked again about the status and didn’t get an answer.
Edit: I received now an answer, but not as I expected.
Because there is now a customer support after a negative review I changed the rating to a two star.
2nd Edit:
After over 3 months later I neither received the steering wheel, nor got my money back.

I'm sorry we couldn't fulfill your order in the timeframe you had hoped. Our team was unable to get back to you last week as they were away with their families on Thanksgiving (US Holiday).
I believed there's some misunderstandings here. When you ordered the part, there was a clear indicator on the page that this would take 10+ weeks to ship and then reaffirm this by sending an email that it was to be made. Putting it at early December to ship.
What went wrong? We replied back to your email changing this original ETA, with a good faith estimate that it's Possible it could ship Mid November. The part did indeed arrive to the states on time, but we didn't take into consideration Thanksgiving week delaying the clearing process through US customs.
We truly try our best to make these estimates as precise as possible, but no one is perfect!
Given that you wanted the steering wheel to arrive this week, we proceeded to cancel your order as we can not guarantee an exact ship date.

Paid flat ground shipping to receive item in a timely manner in which I did. KamiSpeed was responding to questions right after purchase but once I receive the package, which is the wrong item (M12x1.5 instead of M14), they have not been responding to me about the wrong item and it’s been over a week. I bought this and paid for faster shipping because I needed it in that time window but now it’s way out of that window. Left a VM, emailed them, and left a chat message but no response. The poor customer service is making it a lot more difficult. I don’t recommend this company

I'm sorry that you received the wrong part. As you can see from the photo you sent us, it was a bar code error by the distributor. But don't worry, we'll get this exchanged and corrected asap. We have sent a message to the distributor so they can make sure the correct one gets sent out. We will send you a return label in order to exchange it for the correct one.
In regards to time window, please know we only received a message from you on 11/24 (we even checked spam and chat records). And we replied back the Same Day, as we like to solve issues like these asap.
We take matters like these very seriously and are always on top of it. So it's very strange, that we didn't hear about it until now. Please know whenever you sent a message out, you get an automatic reply back to let you know that the inquiry was sent out. It will be great, if you can forward that auto reply back, so we can investigate this issue further. We want to make sure we fix any barriers preventing us to better server our customers. Thank you!

I apologize you feel this way. Unfortunately with imported products there are no updates in between as the products do have to ship via ocean container and do not have a tracking system like ground shipping within the states. So we have no way of knowing what is going on in between. This is why we provide an estimate on the site of at least 14 weeks for the part to arrive from Japan and then ship. We also did email you about the ETA in April that it would be taking at least 14 weeks to ship. The product eventually did ship the following week after the 14 week mark due to delays at the port. In the future, please email support@kamispeed.com if you have any questions in regards to special order products from Japan.
