Staff very friendly drivers good as well

From start to finish drivers were helpful friendly polite .Accommodation and excursions were good for the price paid better than expected .Met and made friends with others ( still in touch ) Enjoyed and will definitely be booking other holidays.

From start to finish, our driver was very friendly and always on hand to let us know about our journey & excursions making it a very enjoyable holiday.

The hotel obviously not 5 star but staff very friendly and work hard to make your stay satisfying

a made a tentative booking the night before i actually booked and the consultant was fabulous and so helpful.

It was all very simple to book a trip for my friend and I. The lady was very helpful and kind on the other end of the phone.

The receptionist was really helpful, even gave a discount.

Very comfortable coach and a good driver, Aarron, who had a very amiable personality.
The journeys to and from Douglas allowed plenty of time, so no feeling of being rushed (though there isn't much to do at Heysham Port)
The hotel Hydro was in a good location on the seafront, though a fair walk to the town centre. The room was rather dated,(see below) but the meals were excellent with a good choice. Service was quick and the staff are good-natured.
Trips out; we could have spent longer at the towns visited, especially Peel and Port Erin (where we could have enjoyed a heritage train ride if there has been more time). The electric tram ride was good fun, and the Laxey Wheel an impressive piece of Manx history.
Our room, at the back of the hotel, had a poor view through dirty windows. There was a superfluous extra bed which cluttered the room. However, the bathroom was recently refurbished, the bed was very comfortable and everything else was clean.
Good stock of teabags too.
The stairs were OK for us, but could be problematic for less able guests. They are heavily carpeted and this made the edge of each tread rather indistinct.
Overall this was an enjoyable short trip to an island full of interesting places and history.

A comfortable coach, driven by a gentleman Mason. A reliable group of fellow travellers, never late for the coach to leave at the requested time. The places we visited were ideal. also the free time to explore the local area. The only letdown was the hotel, insufficient staff with high turnover and a kitchen that couldn't cope. Use a different hotel and all would be great.

Excellent coach driver. The hotel was very very good & the food choice excellent. We were very impressed with our large room which had 2 double beds! The staff were helpful and informative.

Terrific trip from start to finish, the coach was lovely and clean, enjoyed the additional day trips out and the driver was so helpful and informative also the other passengers on the trip were a great bunch, from all over the north..

Extremely disappointed with this company — I will never use them again or recommend them.I have never experienced anything quite like this when trying to book a holiday. What initially appeared to be a straightforward long weekend break advertised at £299 per person quickly turned into a long list of additional charges and repeated attempts to sell me extras.
I called to book the holiday and spoke to an agent named Rebecca. Rather than simply taking the booking, I was repeatedly offered additional extras that would have added £80+ per person to the advertised price. When I declined these, her attitude became increasingly confrontational and rude and I felt very pressured.Firstly, I was told there would be an additional £15 per person charge to be collected from my town, despite the advertisement clearly stating that collections were available in my area. When I questioned this, I was told that areas that aren't major towns or cities incur an additional charge. This should surely have been made clear in the original advertisement.I was then told it would cost £5–£15 per person to choose our seats on the coach. Otherwise, there was no guarantee that my wife and I would be seated together, or that our disabled son could sit with us. Since when did booking a coach holiday become like booking a budget airline where you have to pay extra just to make sure your family can sit together?
The advertisement also stated that a pantomime show was included, yet I was told there would actually be an additional charge for tickets because attending the show was considered an optional extra. If a show is advertised as included, I would reasonably expect the tickets to be included in the advertised holiday price.
I was also repeatedly asked if I wanted to join their club for an additional £39 per person, supposedly giving savings on future trips. I declined several times and explained that we rarely book more than one holiday a year, but Rebecca continued to push the membership. I made it perfectly clear that I wasn't interested, yet the sales pitch continued.
No means no. I did not appreciate being repeatedly pressured into purchasing something I had already declined. Good customer service should involve listening to the customer rather than continuing to push additional products after they have said no.
As we are elderly and don't use email, I asked if the booking paperwork could be sent to us by post. I was then told there would be another £10 charge for postage. £10 simply to post holiday confirmation paperwork seems completely unreasonable and felt like yet another unnecessary charge being added to the booking.
I was also told that full payment was required immediately, despite the holiday being in December and around four months away. By this point, I had completely lost confidence in the booking and decided not to proceed.
Unfortunately, the experience got even worse.
Later that same day, I received a call back from another person named Tandy. She couldn't speak English, and when I asked to speak to someone else, I was told that nobody else was available to take my call. I was then disconnected.
Overall, what should have been a simple phone call to book a holiday turned into an extremely frustrating experience involving additional charges, constant upselling and pressure to purchase extras.
In my opinion, the advertised £299 per person price is extremely misleading if customers can then be faced with a series of additional charges for things that many people would reasonably expect to be included in a coach holiday.
I decided not to book and, based on this experience, I will never use this company again and certainly won't recommend them to anyone.
Interestingly, I found Caledonian Travel offering the same holiday for just £199 per person, with a much better hotel and without the endless additional charges and sales pressure I experienced here.
For me, the choice is an easy one: I'll be sticking with Caledonian Travel in future.
If you are considering booking with this company, I would strongly recommend asking for the TOTAL price, including every compulsory charge and anything you actually need, before agreeing to the booking.
What started as a £299-per-person holiday ended up feeling like an exercise in seeing how many additional charges and extras could be added. Very disappointing
