Finding this online telehealth portal has completely changed my life! I'm back to feeling normal or probably even better because there are so many of us women out there dealing with hormonal changes and have no idea that there's help out there but with MIDI health, it's a possibility!
I was not myself, feeling depressed, low libido and very lethargic. I was so depressed.
Being a mom and trying to keep up with the ever demanding fulfillment to my children and husband with perimenopause, had me feeling completely worthless and a failure.
The ease of having online visits with my doctor and specific bonus of my insurance covering it, was a no-brainer..
If I knew what I know now after starting HRT therapy with MIDI health, I would pay for it full price all day long.
It will truly change and save your life if you are suffering from hormonal changes!
Midi health is the holy Grail to helping women with perimenopause!
I hope more women like me choose midi health and it can change their life like it has done mine and my Family.
Thank you!!!
Midi is very convenient
Midi is very convenient. While the providers are professional, I don’t feel a strong sense of warmth or personal connection during my visits. The interactions feel somewhat impersonal. But the convenience is a trade off.
Surgical Menopause and Non-Hormonal Options
Kirsten Wiegert, NP, is a phenomenal care provider. She is knowledgeable not only about surgical menopause and non-hormonal care options, but she also knows about my more rare conditions. With her Internal Medicine background, she is so knowledgeable about possible medication interactions and how your existing health issues will impact your Menopause journey. She also is a great listener and provided me with options tailored to my body and lifestyle. I highly recommend working with her.
MIDI has changed my life
MIDI has changed my life. My NP, Hope, has been the best medical provider I have ever had. She listens and takes my health seriously.
They listen and make u feel comfortable
I’m still new to this, but with the first zoom I felt very comfortable and like she was understanding and listening, which makes me feel good, so time will tell.

Midi was highly recommended to me my female bloggers I follow. I was eager to try them since my naturopath doctor retired.
Well, after being with Midi for several months, i am very disappointed. The provider didn’t schedule lab work as was discussed at my appointment. I had to yet make another online visit(for which I pay $150 every time since I do not have a traditional insurance). When I brought that up to my provider asking maybe have a discussion without a an online meeting, she basically told me that she will do only online meetings.
I feel maybe it is great for those with insurance and Midi can suck money out of them. But for me as a cash payer, it is too costly. Not recommend.

Thankful
I am so thankful I found Midi. I was desperate for a solution and had been dismissed by my GYN. Rachel Beatty has been patient with me while I've worked through the right dose and combination of HRT options. She's been responsive when I've had questions or concerns between appointments, listened when I felt absolutely crazy, and has helped me stabilize my perimenopause symptoms. My quality of life is better because of her!
Expensive even with insurance
They said they take insurance but after my first visit and messing up my medication so much and making me run back and forth with the pharmacy they sent me a $200 bill. Don’t use them. Not worth it.
I was floored! I only had one visit and the medication was a mess. Apparently my insurance covered none of the expensive ones they wanted me on. And it took ages for them to send in a prescription for generic. When I asked for the pill version they responded by simply saying a prescription for the estrogen patch was sent it. I never even ask for the patch! I don’t know where that came from.
I do not recommend them and wish I hadn’t used them.

Overpriced and unequaled providers
The provider seemed tired and checked out at every appointment. She was pretty clearly reading off her screen and not interested in engaging. She followed up on what i specifically had questions about but I didn't feel like she was helping with the big picture. I had to have several followup appointments because of that. The last appointment wasn't covered by insurance. Midi no longer accepted it but didn't notify me. When I asked about it, they said they could give me a discounted rate if I chose to stay on but did not even acknowledge thati was not notified of the change. I also discovered that the supplements they provide are way overpriced. Huge waste, which is sad since they market themselves as an alternative to have your health concerns truly addressed.

I'm so grateful for deciding to sign up with Midi. I'm still early in my new treatment plan and I know it will involve some trial and error, but just being able to talk to someone experienced in treating peri/menopause symptoms is a huge relief. I was previously seeing multiple doctors trying to treat multiple symptoms, only to be brushed off and told I'm too old for perimenopause (I'm 43 now and started showing symptoms 2 years ago). FINALLY some real empathy and real, research-based treatment. Thank you!

She really listened to me without judgement and helped me find reasonable solutions to the issues I brought up. I don't have insurance and she helped me find reduced priced prescriptions too.

My Midi provider has been wonderful to work with. She truly listens to what I’m saying and offers thoughtful solutions that feel tailored to my needs. I feel heard and supported, and I’ve noticed a real, positive difference in how I’ve been feeling since working with her. I’m so grateful for her care.
Life changing approach to perimenopause symptoms
I have been struggling with perimenopause symptoms for a long time. Before I scheduled an appointment at Midi health, I saw a gynecologist at the hospital I usually go. She was dismissive, condescending and didn't address any of my concerns. I left feeling hopeless. She basically said that I was getting old and should be used to this fact and also that I had a bunch of health issues. On the opposite side, Dr. Ortiz at Midi Health, listened very carefully to all of my concerns and addressed it properly. I am now taking HRT and regaining control over my life. Thanks to Midi health I am feeling so much better now.
The BEST gynecological service for HRT & covered by insurance!
I have been in HRT since peri-menopause for 15+ years. Throughout it has been super difficult to find reliable providers, as well as compounding pharmacies. I have tried creams, gels, injections and patches, and the dosing has been standard (1mg Estradiol, 100mg progesterone and ,01 estrogen vaginal cream (which is a lot of cream w low concentration). The problem has always been that the providers don’t really know much, and basically prescribe the same thing to everyone. Importantly none of the providers nor the compounding Rx are covered by insurance and the cost has been substantial ($200+ per month!)
I just had my consultation w MIDI w Dr. Jennifer Wicklatz for 45 minutes, and I was amazed. Not only was she super knowledgeable, but she had thoroughly studied my record and understood my health history. She tailored my HRT regimen precisely to my needs, and took the time to answer all my questions. She ordered labs to monitor my progress, send my Rx to my local pharmacy, and scheduled a follow/up visit. No rush. She was truly extraordinary. AND her consultation and prescriptions ARE COVERED by insurance!! Yes, MIDI accepts most insurances!
It is a no-brainer, MIDI Health is by-far the BEST HRT provider. FINALLY…
I started the hormone journey over a year ago but now I feel comfortable
I started the hormone journey with my gynecologist. It is sometimes hard to get in touch with them, so I followed my friends that all use Midi Health. I could not be happier with my first visit. I was heard and options were discussed. Nothing was off the table, just need to see what fits with me and my labs. I walked away with a clear understanding of what to do and how to move forward.
My experience with MIDI Health has been…
My experience with MIDI Health has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
The first practitioner I met with prescribed a medication, but unfortunately, it was not covered by my insurance. She offered an alternative, and after going back and forth trying to determine the most affordable option, we ultimately discussed and decided on a treatment plan. Before I was able to start the medication, however, that practitioner left the practice.
Now MIDI Health is telling me that I have to schedule another appointment with a different provider before they will prescribe the medication that had already been discussed and agreed upon. The treatment plan was already established, and I had not even started the medication yet, so requiring another appointment feels completely unnecessary.
As an advanced practitioner myself, I find this particularly concerning. From a patient perspective, it is difficult not to feel that requiring an additional visit is more about generating another bill than providing continuity of care. I understand that providers may change practices, but patients should not have to repeat an already completed evaluation and treatment-planning process simply because their original practitioner left.
Overall, this has made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I expected better continuity of care and a more patient-centered approach from MIDI Health. I will not be returning for another visit.

So easy and convenient!
I loved the fact that they listen and create a plan of action to resolve your health concerns in the first Appt. I really wish I had done it sooner! I was so nervous but it was really an easy process and I felt completely comfortable!

My clinician has been such a meaningful part of my weight‑loss journey. She genuinely cares, takes the time to listen, and always meets me with empathy. Her support has made this process feel lighter, safer, and truly guided.
I wasn’t able to get into see my OB/Gyn…
I wasn’t able to get into see my OB/Gyn for 2 months for my symptoms, I tried Midi. Ive had 3 appts since then and my OB/Gyn also had rave reviews for Midi, both being menopause certified. I’m able to get great care and both providers agree and support each other.
Excellent review from Kim
I spent 2 years going back and forth with local doctors and even travelling 1.5 hours each way to obtain very little help with various menopause systems. After suffering months of insomnia, hot flashes, brain fog, and more, my MIDI clinician really listened and was sympathetic with my issues. She prescribed meds that have given me my life back. I have finally felt like I have a good quality of life again in the last 6+ months.
In addition, she has recently helped me with weight loss and successfully prescribed a GLP. None of my traditional local clinics or doctors even want to talk about it as a possibility. They are stuck in the old ways of thinking that just diet and exercise will help women in menopause lose weight. It doesn't work! I nearly starved myself in efforts to shed pounds and felt like I was killing myself exercising, but I still stayed at the same weight and even gained a bit. I knew if I continued down that path, I ran the risk of many health problems like diabetes, heart disease, and more. Once again, she listened and didn't hesitate to prescribe a GLP for me. I had lost 40 lbs on a Compounded GLP before she prescribed the brand name, but I have lost another 5 lbs in just 2 weeks since starting the new prescription. I feel like I am well on my way to meeting my goals now. I have another 50 lbs to lose, but I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is doable. Previously I felt like there was no hope. Thank you Natalie Decker. I really appreciate you taking the time to understand my concerns, being so sympathetic, and getting me the help I need to be a better me. I have my life back thanks to you!
With much gratitude and appreciation,
Kim Schmitt
