Disappointed that I was told the delivery time for the mattress would be about a week and when I called after a week, it's still two weeks away. I was told if they don't have many things to deliver to the Diss store they just wait until there is more. I bought a sofa that is probably still sat on the shop floor, to be delivered at the same time. If they had been honest and said the mattress would be three weeks I wouldn't have bought it - which is exactly why they weren't honest. So I'm still waiting... No offer of the sofa being delivered while we wait. I wouldn't shop here again

Delivery was on time. Simon and Scott were polite, worked very quickly and check as all the chairs over. All rubbish was taken away.
Definitely recommend John Doe as a company to anyone

Kept informed on delivery date and time.
Simon & Scott phoned me before they arrived to tell me they were on their way.
Unloaded everything, then set to work putting the beds together.
There was a problem with a mattress being slightly too deep for the trundle bed. But immediately got on the phone to store, reassured me it would be sorted. They removed all packaging. Highly recommend bothe delivery men and John Doe for excellent customer service.

I bought an expensive sofa and paid extra for a 10 year insurance policy. In under a year the filling in the seat cushions flattened until it was uncomfortable to sit on, but the shop or insurers took no responsibility for this and I had to pay extra to have more filling added. After a few more months this also flattened, and my only option has been to pay again to have the filling replaced. The excuse given was that I selected the filling type when I bought it, which wasn't true, and in any case surely if the filling type is faulty the retailer should take responsibility.
John Doe's service is excellent when you're in the shop but fails badly afterwards. I certainly won't be shopping here again.

Stewart had endless patience while he was helping us choose a new mattress. He gave us lots of advice and made sure that we chose the one that would be the most comfortable for both of us.

What a fabulous experience from the point of deciding what to order with the help of the lovely people in the store especially Tom & delivery by Simon & Scott today. Best experience we have had with a furniture company. My husband had a fall whilst the delivery was in progress & the guys helped get him back on his feet. Nothing was too much trouble. I needed an office chair for home and Tom, the salesman, was extremely helpful when I was making the selection and he loaded the chair into the car for me. Allowing me to buy the chair from the showroom, rather than a boxed one, meant the chair was in use within five minutes of getting it home :)
