Worst tool, they dont give free trail even for 1 application. How can a user decide to pay even a dollar without knowing how the tool is working in actual. I cant believe on fake ads and advertisement... See more

I tried JobCopilot hoping it would speed up my job search by automatically finding and applying to jobs, but my experience was mixed and ultimately disappointing.
What Worked
One positive aspect is that the platform did submit a decent number of applications automatically. If your goal is purely to increase the volume of applications without manually filling out forms, it does technically accomplish that. The AI tools like the resume builder, cover letter builder, and interview roleplay features are also useful additions.
Main Issues
1. Limited Visibility Into Job Sources
You cannot clearly see which job boards the system is pulling listings from. The AI just applies on your behalf, which makes the process feel like a black box. This lack of transparency makes it difficult to verify whether the jobs are legitimate or even still available.
2. Broken or Removed Listings
Many of the AI recommendations provided through the browser extension link to external job sites where the listing has already been removed. That means the platform may be attempting to apply to outdated postings.
3. No Scam Filtering
The system does not seem to distinguish between legitimate jobs and potential scam postings. It appears to apply broadly without strong filtering, which could expose users to questionable opportunities.
4. Email Spam Issue
The website advertises that you will not receive individual “We have received your application” emails and instead will get a summarized daily report. In my experience, this did not work. I still received every confirmation email from the jobs it applied to, which resulted in a lot of inbox clutter.
5. Pricing Feels High for the Results
The pricing is relatively expensive for what you get:
Weekly plans range roughly from $3.90 to $15.90
Monthly plans range roughly from $9.90 to $39.90
Quarterly plans go up to $94.90
Given the limitations in job filtering, transparency, and application quality, the price feels a bit steep.
Overall Impression
JobCopilot does automate job applications and can increase the number of applications submitted, but the lack of transparency, poor filtering, and inaccurate claims about email notifications make it difficult to rely on. If the platform improved its job verification, scam detection, and reporting features, it could become much more valuable.
For now, it feels like a quantity-over-quality tool.

Very bad... not what i expected. In 1 month it had applied for 45 useless jobs.
I had canceled my subscription but it still charged me...

Reply from JobCopilot
I don't feel this subscription is for me. I want to cancel. There's no settings to login into my profile to cancel the subscription. No phone number, no email, nothing to help cancel. I feel this is a scam website

Reply from JobCopilot
With very general matching criteria, produced no actionable results in the US.

It's a scam, I didn't receive any notice from any company, and the worst is that I have canceled my subscription and they still are charging me!!!!

Job Copilot is a great idea, but very poorly executed. It asked me if there were any words that it should use to exclude options - words that should NOT appear in the jobs it gave me. The word I have it appeared in 8 of the first ten jobs it showed me! It also wrote over letters for me, but they totally lied. They said that I have 15 years of experience in an industry in which I have no experience - that sort of thing. The cover letters were in pdf format, so they couldn't even be edited unless you have Adobe Acrobat. I gave it a second star because it did find a few jobs that might fit, but they made up fewer than 5% of the ones it gave me. Oh, and bad ones have to be deleted one-by-one. That took forever. Seriously, stay away.

I signed up for JobCopilot on a free plan, used it for about a week, and then stopped — assuming I was still on the free tier. Nine months later I discovered I had been charged CHF 38.12 every month.
I never received a welcome email, a single invoice, a payment receipt, or any notification that I had been moved to a paid plan. Not even to my spam folder. My email address was correctly stored in Stripe the entire time — the invoices simply were never sent.
When I contacted support, they deflected by asking for a cancellation confirmation email — which is irrelevant since I never knew I was on a paid plan to begin with. They then pointed me to Terms of Purchase I was never sent or informed about.
This is not a billing mistake. Stripe sends invoices automatically by default — disabling them is a deliberate choice. A customer who never receives a single email in 9 months has no way of knowing they are being charged.
I am now pursuing a bank chargeback and filing a formal complaint with Swiss consumer protection authorities.
Check your bank statements carefully before signing up.

Honestly, Jobcopilot saves me a lot of time applying. The extension works well most of the time. Sometimes it misses a field, but it is easy to fix.
It's been almost two weeks and the app is not working as it promoted, I signed uo for the Elite monthly subsription and thought the app would apply for up to 50 jobs matched, it didnt even apply for 20 jobs daily and I had to use jobcopilot chrome extension to fill in application for other jobs that the app didn't automatically sent. It didn't give me an option t choose the preferred industry. Plus the resume wasnt tailoring for all jobs application. It was a total waste of time and money. I reached to customer service for a refund and totally refused and kept arguing with me, didnt even offer partial refund. Do not use the jobcopolit service.

Jobcopilot completely changed how I apply for jobs. What I like the most is the ability to find the emails of hiring managers and connect on LI. Nice touch, allows me to be proactive alongside automation.
Update: they refund me.
I purchased a subscription for the first month and used JobCopilot for one week. I applied for many jobs through JobCopilot, but I did not receive any response from any employer — not even emails like “your application has been declined” or “you are not eligible for this role.” Although my CV and experience are sufficiently good.
After the first week, I did not log in to JobCopilot. In the following month, I saw that they charged me for a full month. When I contacted them, they said it is stated in their terms of service and that the money is non-refundable. Overall, the service did not deliver any value for me, and the billing practices feel unfair. I would not recommend this platform.

I had some issues with job matching at first - after a week, my copilot seemed to be saving the wrong types of jobs. The support team was very helpful and showed me exactly what to adjust in my settings. Now my copilot is finding and applying to accurate roles every day. Looking forward to seeing how things progress.
The AI filtering options don't work !
You will spend your time configuring the settings to find out that the AI does NOT take them into account. This means that as a user you still need to filter out each job opportunity description to see if for example "native Dutch" is required for this function when you specifically requested for this to be filtered out. Reason why auto-send application is Not recommended.
It's a waste of money. One can do much better by themselves compared to this AI. First two weeks I got a good number of job opportunities but almost all of them were irrelevant; out of about 200 jobs only 9 did make sense. So it took me same effort and time filtering them as I would have if I used LinkedIn for example.
When you let it customize resume and fill the application, it writes things you have never done or learned, things you totally have no experience on.
Third week I am it is giving almost no job opportunities.

Canceling is tricky, but when I had an issue they made it right. For me the four stars is that I just didn’t fine the app super intuitive or the jobs relevant to me. I imagine the user experience will improve in time.

Reply from JobCopilot
I have tried multiple times to cancel my subscription through your website, but the “Cancel Subscription” button only shows a loading animation and then redirects me back to the same page. My subscription remains active despite five attempts.
EDIT:
I have received the refund and the issue has been fixed.
The site really doesn't work as advertised and I do NOT recommend it at all. Customer Support did their job. For that reason I change my review from 1 to 2 stars.

I went on Job Copilot, paid for it. Tried to go on it again a few hours later, and it has disappeared from my search engine, it wont even recognise the search. Can you help!!!

I know the company will come down, my throat saying I only used it for a day, but no doubt..
One day in and 45 Job Apps later, there has been 5 scam attempts.
As was mentioned before by someone, company seems to be valuing quantity over quality. There's no QC.
A shame because the tools are really cool..
Wouldn't mind having my nine bucks back.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with JobCopilot compels me to warn others. Frankly, I would go so far as to call it a scam. The platform consistently fails to deliver the services it promises, and this applies across nearly all its features.
🔍 Job Listings: Misleading and Outdated
Many of the advertised positions have been closed for months — a fact you only discover by manually checking employer websites. The so-called "remote" jobs often turn out to be location-bound, because the AI fails to properly interpret the job descriptions. Filtering is equally unreliable: the results frequently have little to do with your actual search criteria.
📝 Cover Letters: Incomplete and Unusable
The generated cover letters are superficial, fragmented, and lack coherence. They’re not just unhelpful — they’re unusable. You’ll spend more time rewriting them than if you had started from scratch.
📄 CV Adaptation: A Risk to Your Professional Integrity
The feature that claims to tailor your CV to specific job ads is not just flawed — it’s dangerous. It arbitrarily alters your job titles and professional designations, which can lead to serious credibility issues. Imagine a recruiter cross-checking your LinkedIn profile or references and finding discrepancies introduced by an AI tool. That’s not optimization — that’s sabotage.
🚫 Verdict: Avoid Until Major Overhaul
JobCopilot may sound promising, but in its current state, it’s unreliable, misleading, and potentially harmful to your job search. Proceed with extreme caution — or better yet, look elsewhere
Unfortunately I can't reply to Jobcopilot here so I just add facts here. My username was markus_a_geiger(at)web.de. I have unsubscribed and closed my account yesterday. Check your records!
And, I have proof. I have even contacted one employer which confirmed the job post was month ago. Why don't you show a contact email on your page? I would have posted more proofs but your page doesn't support that either.
Addendum: I will give Jobcopilot another try. I am really satisfied with the outcome and to see that they have a management who cares. That's why I amended my review to 3 stars. I will try once more and be happy to give a new detailed review

27-10 update: they corrected the error, attended and resolved my every complaint, Joana is a very kind and attentive person (or AI idk) they gave me an alternative to my problem which is to switch to the autosave functionality, it’s a lot more work but is worth it, I am now giving them 5 stars thanks to the support team and because you get what you pay for and that’s a very difficult thing to find this days, I haven’t gotten any interviews yet but that’s obviously not their fault, I’ll let the old part of the review below so everyone can see how they take customer support and success very seriously. Great service after all
————
16-10: I used the premium service for a week, uploaded my information and after the first batch of applications to 20 different jobs I realized that there was no parameter to configure the link to my portfolio, which already made me lose any opportunity with the first 20 jobs that requested a portfolio link since job copilot only responded with a placeholder "[portfolio url]". After 4 days of having configured the link to my portfolio from the "edit" section of each individual application the tool continued to send placeholders instead of my portfolio link, I contacted support to receive an alternative to all the multiple applications that clearly will not be considered since a placeholder response was sent and after a long back and forth with the customer success team I still have not received a clear answer of everything that has been lost due to this system error.
