Dreadful company that washes its hands…

Dreadful company that washes its hands of its customers. Unfortunately giving zero stars is not an option. JJO bathrooms supplied a led wall hung mirror (cost £400+) which has stopped working after 19 months. JJO not interested in offering a repair or replacement relying solely on the guarantee (12 months, apparently, but you will struggle to find mention of that on their brochure). This ignores the customer’s statutory rights. Think hard before you spend a lot of money with this company. If something goes wrong you’re on your own.

Delamination issues

2 years ago the cupboard door above the cooker started to delaminate. Eventually JJO, via the retailer, agreed to a replacement. Just recently the extractor door has started to delaminate. Unfortunately, the Flaxley range has been discontinued by them - so I am stuck with an eyesore which spoils the look of my kitchen. I wish I'd read the Trust Pilot reviews before I purchased a kitchen......

DECEITFUL - Units started cracking on cutout Square…

Units started cracking on cutout Square inside doors and drawers after 6 years and is getting worse. It is cracking on every door and drawer

They initially asked for a decision on what replacement I wanted before declining the claim as neglect when I chose other than what was suggested.

They don't deal directly with public but if you are getting an ECO Kitchen it's likely to be JJO.

I hope you are well.

On close inspection of the photos the Technical Manager and Sales Director have rejected the claim. As this is not a genuine warranty claim. The doors are damaged due to neglect and water ingression. Not through faults in materials or faults within manufacturing.

If the end user wishes to dispute it, I would suggest they appoint the Furniture ombudsman to ask for an independent report to possibly support their case.

Terrible local company to deal with

Terrible company, buy Local, don't bother.
Reccomended am absolute cowboy of a fitter to install my bathroom, a bathroom that was needed after becoming disabled.
It took 4 weeks not the normal 2, the mess was incredible.
But fair play to them they said they would sort it, even asked if we wanted different tiles or floor, they even went to the extent of offering to paint the ceiling after they had moved the light that was in the wrong place.
This was 2018 and to this day they have done barely anything, the toilet which was loose is part fixed and still does not flush correctly. The floor is part fixed, the shower leaks in 3 places the tiling is just wrong in one corner but I can live with that.
Every accessory is loose l, the fitter completely messed up the door frame and the lights are not square.
I was also asked if I had issues with the plumbing, waiting for them as he must have previous.
If I could have gone after the fitter I would but surprise surprise he went bump.
They looked at my photos in the office and agreed it was bad, other salespeople at their retail shop would not touch him, but oh no mine did and where did she dissappear too after all this came to light.

Feel very very let down by a local company, thought I would use them as they have been going for years, if I had the money it would be getting stripped out and replaced, it was supposed to last, the previous one lasted 23 years.
The shop is useless and I am expected to chase this up surely it should be the other way around.
it has gone on that long I have come to the conclusion they have washed their hands of it now.
So basically they reccomended a cowboy they have done nothing to rectify my issues and I am left out of pocket and with a bathroom that will have a short life span.
Just stay away.
I invite the director to contact me but despite numerous emails to him, never heard a word.

JJO is also known as ECO Bathrooms

JJO is also known as ECO Bathrooms. We have left it until now to comment to see how the bathrooms performed, unfortunately not well. We purchased identical rimless toilets & seats together with 2 WC cabinets and 2 sliding drawer wall hung sink cabinets and sinks. The first offering was sent back as all of it had damage which delayed the installation. There is a problem with one of the rimless toilets as it does not flush all around the bowel but the other toilet does. I showed the REP the one that does not flush correctly and then came out the book of excuses until I showed him the toilet that does flush Arr well Arr was the reply. JJO has sent a replacement cistern but this is something we will have to pay for and no fault of our own. The worst of all both suites have started to discolor, from a grey-white to a brown tinge white, they look awful. We carried out cleaning as recommended by the manufacturer. There are other issues too many to list but one is having to use a dog chew to push the flush-mounted button on the toilet. Avoid purchasing from this company, poor build quality and poor customer focus. It is not all manufactured in Britain as advertised some items are made in Italy. Go to Trend in Birmingham.

Disappointment

I bought a beautiful wood painted kitchen, It arrived with some of the paint applied badly in the joints and other parts had paint spots missing. The company replaced some items and the sent a pot of paint for ‘touch-ups’ (a regular practice). During fitting the experienced fitter knocked one piece of wood with another. The paint came off so easily it was amazing. Due to covid the manufacturer took 5 months to look at the kitchen and said it was a fitting problem. However, so badly was the paint applied that during that 5 months, general wear (from 2 adults) there were more chips just from sweeping the floor etc. A kitchen inspector from FIRA came to look. He told us the paint had not gone into the doors because of air in the paint. However in his report he said it was caused by ‘timber movement’. Yes, they are replacing the doors, but the real problem is the badly applied (not enough coats) on all sections of the kitchen.
