Delayed flight overstay penalties for a pothole-riddled muddy gravel car park.
April 2026... The Jetparks Ringways car park has terrible craters, gravel and mud, and we were afraid we were going to break our car's suspension. Whilst operating for many years, accepting many thousands of customer's fees for so many years, they still haven't bothered to tarmac their car parks. Maximum profit at minimal cost it seems. Then our return flight was delayed due to a bird strike at Schiphol Airport, meaning we missed our connection to Manchester. After the frustration of a 15 hour delay through no fault of ours, Jetparks then charged us a £61 penalty for the privilege of parking in their pothole-riddled gravel & mud carpark. Our suitcase wheels were filthy when we got them home. Terrible carparks, reflecting badly on the great city of Manchester and what would otherwise have been a very good Manchester Airport, and very helpful, friendly shuttle bus drivers. Andy Burnham and Manchester Council need to have a serious look at this, because a Jetparks carpark is the first and last thing a lot of us see when we come to use Manchester Airport.

Jetparks is a great fast efficient service geared to make your parking safe secure and sure. Just make sure you understand and use it correctly. I have to say a big thank you to Manchester Airport and Jetparks for our recent delayed return from DUBAI we were 9 DAYS LATE and our overstay charge was waived because of the Iran war.
THANK YOU!
Excellent Customer Service
Excellent Customer Service – JetParks Driver
I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent customer service that my family and I received on Sunday evening from one of your drivers.
We arrived back from Malta on a Ryanair flight at around 6:30pm.
After leaving Terminal 3 arrivals, we found the signage for the JetParks pick up quite unclear and ended up going round in circles before being directed by a kind gentleman to a bus stop a little further away. This wasn’t ideal, especially when trying to find our way back to our car.
A bus then arrived for JetParks 3. At the time, I wasn’t sure of the difference between the JetParks sites and thought they were all the same, but we were actually parked at JetParks Ringway. The driver — a gentleman with a bald head and long beard — noticed that we were travelling with our disabled son, William, who was wearing his sunflower lanyard.
Although he explained that he couldn’t take us directly to JetParks Ringway, he went out of his way to phone one of his colleagues and arrange for them to wait for us at the next bus stop (I believe at Terminal 2). This was something he didn’t need to do and could easily have told us to wait for another bus, but instead he went the extra mile to help us. Thanks to his kindness and coordination, we were back at our car park in no time.
Small acts of kindness like this really do make a big difference, particularly when travelling with a disabled child, and it was genuinely appreciated. I’m very sorry that I didn’t catch the driver’s name, but I would be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to him.
We had a great experience with JetParks and would happily use your service again.
Total Rip Off Jet Parks Manchester Airport
I have just returned from 10 day holiday and parked at Jet Park 1, Manchester Airport from which I paid over £80. On returning, I had made an error and booked us one day short (my mistake, fair enough) I expected to pay a charge for the additional day but £61.40!! What a total rip off. Manchester Airport is appalling at every level - if you need to use this airport, make sure you avoid Jet Parks - their Customer Service is non existent. Judging by their terrible reviews you can see how bad they are. Avoid!!

Booking Amendment Problems
Booking is fine. However, altering or amending bookings is poor. In this digital age, they should allow for amendments to be made. This isn’t offered and you have to make another booking then cancel the original booking. Also £60 a day for overstay is criminal.

Couldn’t put zero stars
Couldn’t put zero stars. Awful. Far too expensive. More money than the multi storey next to the terminal.
Bus is sporadic and doesn’t always stop outside the terminal.
Horrendous. Typical of Manchester airport. The worst airport on planet earth. Crap

Jetparks Ringway not good bus service.
First bus didn't stop to pick me up. Second bus wouldn't let us on as it said it was full. There was plenty of room but apparently no seats left. Took an hour to get to the airport. Then on arriving back in the UK found had typed in the wrong date and for one extra day the charge was £61.40.

There just arnt enough busses. They take 20-30 mins to turn up and often they are full already.
Manchester Jet Parks. Stay away.
Strangely the parks are called Jet Parks as are the buses. But they are not responsible for the service. Go figure!!

Sneaky GMP cashing in - avoid
Finding a space, parking, bus ride and our return was all very smooth and I wouldn’t be leaving a bad review - but I returned home to a police NIP letter asking for driver details (although the car was parked and we were in the air at the alleged time of offence) and I’m fully aware my private plate has illegal spacing (it’s being like it 2 years without a problem) jetparks ringways seem to have an anpr linked to the police who are issuing such hideous notices. And parking fines which to me is a shit excuse to cash in on innocent people just trying to have a holiday - at a time when holidays are expensive enough.
It’s put me off parking here and I won’t be returning when I come back to the airport in June!!

Delayed flight shocking service
Be very careful booking with these cowboys, my flight was cancelled thanks easy jet and had to stay in Prague for a additional 4 nights. We tried to extend stay on website unfortunately we could not do was charged £247.00 with no receipt to claim even through I pressed button to ask for one. I will now have to call and get cut off by unhelpful staff. Please also be careful if using discount codes THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU 6 HOURS DELAY IT WILL CUT OFF AT THE TIME YOU PUT IN please read T&C's as that's why I couldn't extend it

Pay the extra and avoid Jet Parks…
Pay the extra and avoid Jet Parks ringway parking, the shuttle bus that is meant to come every 10mins was full we had to wait with a toddler in the cold for 3 buses until their was space, drivers were rude also. Do not book they cause you a delay in the journey potentially missing flights

It's not very often I'm 'wowwed' by the customer service recieved. However this morning I feel grateful to have witness the incredible Paul Ward at work! What an attentive, charismatic, helpful and funny driver! He's brightened up our journey to the airport. We watched him go above and beyond helping other customers whilst we were on the bus. Great banter. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Helping us take our suitcases on and off the bus. Answering questions (seriously and jokingly!) And so refreshing to see someone genuinely happy in their job and making a positive impact in our world. Both my husband and I left the bus with a smile on our faces ready for our holiday on the 'scroat plane' haha! Cheers Paul! You legend!
Very dark, small spaces.
Manchester Jetparks 3 has no reception or staff to help.
You drive onto a very dark parking lot to attempt to find a parking space which is difficult because its rammed.
It is so badly lit you will never know if your car has been damaged until you get home.
The spaces are too small so good luck if you have a bigger car, if you have a truck don't even attempt it.
I would never park here as a single traveller because its far too lonely.
Finally, you have to drag heavy cases over areas that do not have a tarmac surface.
Not impressed and won't be staying again.
This is a true scam parking
This is a true scam parking. I read that you can park there for free for up to 60 minutes. I arrived today at 18:20 car reg SD63SZJ and left at 19:58. The delay was because the buss driver said I couldn't use the free buss from terminal to the parking space as it was only scheduled for drop off from the car park to airport. I had to take a taxi as non of the bus drivers was taking me back to the car park. The first one who took me from my car to the terminal said there was no free parking at Jetparks 1 at all. In the same time on the website it is still advertised as there is a free 60 minutes with busses for pick up and drop off. Nevertheless I'm now trying to pay online for my parking today but the system only accepts in advance bookings. (Both gates were open when I parked and when I left so didn't know what to do)The audio system at the gate was ringing but no one picked up and now after 30 min that i left I'm trying to pay in case i have to but there is no way in doing that or finding out if I have to pay. i guess I have to wait for the fine to arrive in the next few days. A system designed to rip people off. Shame on whoever runs Manchester airport. i will never consider travelling from there. My friends in Newcastle told me about their horrific experiences there but now I know. In contrast i have travelled from LONDON Stanstead and other London airports where I had a fantastic experience.
Thankyou to Andy Jet parks 3
We had a great experience with JetParks 3. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and Andy our bus driver deserves a special shoutout! He was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely set the tone for our holiday. Such a lovely start to the trip.
Parking was easy, no issues at all, and the pick-up on our return was seamless. We didn’t have to wait long, everything was well organised, and the whole process was stress-free.
Would definitely use JetParks 3 again!
Waited 90 minutes for a bus that we…
Waited 90 minutes for a bus that we could fit on. The ones that kept arriving were for car park 1 and not 3! Every time one arrived, and not that often, they were full and wouldn’t take anyone.
The excuse from the driver was it’s busy! As you have to book for a specific arrival and departure the company will know how many customers they are expecting and should provide an adequate number of coaches and operatives, dreadful organisation.
The car park itself has no markings, it is just large chunks of gravel. This made it impossible to use the wheels on your suitcase and would be awful for a wheelchair user or a pushchair.
I waited at the bus stop with our bags while my partner collected the car rather than attempting to carry large cases weighing over 20kg.
The whole experience has put us off flying from Manchester again, as we live in the midlands we will use Heathrow or Gatwick for our long haul trips in the future.
anchester Airport Jetparks 3 car park…
Manchester Airport Jetparks 3 car park warning
Returned home on a 22nd of September 25 to find Manchester Airport Jetparks 3 car park had flooded when we were on holiday with around 2ft of water.
The area where we park was first left after you go through the barrier and then after another 15 feet left again this leads to a large tarmac area for parking
The car is a total right of as full of water.
Please be aware after some investigation this area of the car park has flooded in the past
There are no warning signs of potential flooding in the car park or on the booking T&C
Trying to speak to customer services at the time on the phone was impossible
Eventually used the barrier call button to get hold of staff who were very helpful.
Please be aware Manchester Airport have denied all responsibility stating you parked at owners risk and wont take responsibility even though the car park has a history of flooding.
They have a very effective in my opinion delay and ignore tactic slow to respond to your emails (up to 10 days) and will eventually ignoring them altogether .
If you only have third-party fire and theft insurance you won’t be covered for flooding
Please be careful
David
Truly shockingly rubbish service
What utter rubbish this service is. It would have been faster to walk the 35 miles home. Buses every 15 minutes is untrue. 7-8 minutes to the terminal is untrue. Never again. Pay a bit extra and park at the airport where you can walk. This service is dire and nothing like the rhetoric. Writing this having been stood waiting for the bus for over 30 minutes.
