I’m deeply disappointed that Jeffree…

I’m deeply disappointed that Jeffree Star chose to comment the way he did about what’s happening with ICE agents. His language and attitude were ugly and unnecessary. Because of that, I no longer support his brand. He does not deserve the business of Hispanic, Asian, or African American communities—or anyone who values respect and humanity. I hope people choose to boycott and hold him accountable with their wallets.

Makeup is great..but customer service fails

I had ordered from jsc for many years. I have tried all their products. I highly recommend the eyeshadows, concealers, highlighters, lip oils, lip masks, skin care, eyeliners, lips sticks (in all forms) lip liners…honestly all their products are great. Decently priced as well. The ONLY downfall is sadly, customer service. They used to be great. Recently ordered some items that didn’t arrive in the best condition. Seemed like a manufacturing mistake that caused some issues during transit. I reached out to customer service and didn’t hear back for weeks. I understood the first week, holidays and all. But by the third week my well of understanding ran dry. While I highly recommend the products, I can’t recommend their customer service. Sites that carry his brand are much more responsive and great about fixing any issues that arise.

I ordered from Jeffree Star cosmetics…

I’ve always had great experiences ordering from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and my most recent order was no different! I placed my order on September 7th and received it today, September 18th. Everything arrived safely with no damage, and all the products look, feel, and smell brand new.
This time, I picked up 5 Magic Star concealers (the only concealers I truly love. I’ve tried many others but nothing compares), 2 palettes, 3 eyeliners, 1 liquid lipstick, 1 setting spray, and 1 setting powder. The setting powder in particular has such a buttery texture that I adore. As always, the quality is excellent and the packaging is stunning.
My only wish is that there were more shade options for liquid lipsticks and palettes, like in the past. I’d also love to see a true black eyeliner added, since the darkest shade right now is a deep brown.
Overall, I’m so happy with my purchase and will continue ordering—Jeffree Star Cosmetics never disappoints!

Empty package

I ordered a mascara my roommate has been wanting for YEARS for her birthday. $40 later, I receive an open, empty package. I’ve emailed customer service TWICE about this and have heard absolutely nothing back. Don’t waste your time or your money buying from JSC, if you have any sort of problem you’re screwed and out an insane amount of money. I’ve spoken to other people and it’s not just me, they’re terrible at cancelling orders, they offer $5 refunds on $50 items that come broken, or they just don’t reply at all. There’s no working phone number for you to attempt to call if they don’t answer your emails, and from what I’ve heard they make it extremely difficult for you to do a chargeback.

Absolute terrible customer service

Absolute terrible customer service. They are obstinate and create obstacles to avoid helping you. This used to be a superior line, it’s not the same. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I’ve been a customer over a decade, it’s unfortunate this is how they choose to do business now.

Ghosted and dusted Jeffrey Star Cosmetics: A Masterclass in How *Not* to Run a Business


Let me start by saying I’ve had more pleasant experiences waiting in line at the DMV than trying to get Jeffrey Star Cosmetics to cancel my order. Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible for a brand to be this tone-deaf, unhelpful, and downright frustrating, but here we are.

After multiple attempts to contact customer service (because apparently, their idea of "service" is ghosting you like a bad Tinder date), I was met with the same robotic, copy-paste responses that basically boiled down to, “Sorry, we can’t help you.” Wow, groundbreaking. It’s almost impressive how a brand can have such a cult following yet treat its customers like an afterthought.

Let’s break it down, shall we?
1. **Customer Service:** Non-existent. I’m convinced their “support team” is just a single hamster running on a wheel, occasionally hitting “send” on pre-written emails.
2. **Order Cancellation:** Impossible. Apparently, once you click “buy,” you’re locked into a binding contract with the cosmos. Forget buyer’s remorse—Jeffrey Star Cosmetics will make sure you feel it for eternity.
3. **Communication:** What communication? I’ve had more meaningful conversations with my cat than with anyone from this company.

And let’s not even get started on the shipping times. By the time my order *eventually* arrives (if it ever does), I’ll probably have moved on to a new hobby, like knitting or underwater basket weaving.

In conclusion, if you enjoy being ignored, overcharged, and treated like an inconvenience, then Jeffrey Star Cosmetics is the brand for you. For everyone else, save your money, your sanity, and your time. There are plenty of other brands out there that actually value their customers—shocking concept, I know.

Customer service horrible and unresponsive, they also ignore cancellations

On 2.2., I placed an order for eyeshadows. While adding the items to my cart, I added some of them twice, but upon checkout, only one set was shown. Realizing this mistake, I immediately canceled the order—within a minute—and received an email confirming that my cancellation was prioritized due to how quickly I acted. I then reordered with the correct quantity.

However, despite the cancellation confirmation, I later received an email stating that both orders had shipped. Since then, I have been trying to contact their support team via email and online chat, but no one has responded. My longest wait time on live chat was an unacceptable 3 hours and 35 minutes. I have also sent multiple follow-up emails, yet I have received no reply.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service

Products are good, customer service and shipping are ATROCIOUS. After placing an order I received a tracking number almost immediately but it took 16 DAYS before it actually shipped out. The quickest ways to lose customers is to provide the type of service that many have complained about on the reviews. It is why I will not order from Jeffree Star again!

The absolute WORST customer service…

The absolute WORST customer service experience shipped me broken lipsticks and will not send me replacements. I should have read the reviews before purchasing this GARBAGE MAKEUP. Thanks for the horrendous service you inconsiderate rats.

Shipping wayyyy too long…

I’ve bought probably 5 of his products including liquid blush and under eye caffeine cream. I like most products except the pink face moisturizer (blue one is way better) but the amount of shipping time is crazy!! I’m still waiting for 1 pallet for almost 3 weeks now. That’s a long time. It doesn’t come from out of the country.
So while I like most of the products, shipping takes way too long compared to others like morphe, Haus labs and too faced.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. I placed and order with a few skincare items and a plaette inside and all of them arrive in a timely manner but one of the face products gave me a horrible allergic reaction that I wasn’t expecting. I’m not sensitive to products typically so I wasn’t expecting anything. Since this happened with one of the products, I figured I would return this and the other skincare products I had received as I didn’t want to open those and risk having another reaction, nor did I want to waste perfectly good product testing them when it was safest just to return them. I contacted Jeffree Star cosmetics and didn’t get a response for almost a week and a half which in that response they asked what product I had the reaction to. I sent a photo of the one I had a reaction to and also stated that I wanted to return the other products as well (I took a screenshot and circled the one that I reacted to in red, the others I wanted to return in orange). They responded 4 days later stating that I needed to get a dermatology test done and that if I wasn’t satisfied I needed to send them back to our facility and that they would help with the return once sent back. Exact words were “ If you'd like to return the item, please send it back to our facility and we can definitely assist with that. Thank you for your support!”, which I know what they’re saying but they didn’t offer/include any return paperwork (barcode to put into my package so that the items could be identified to my order), nor did they tell me where to send them back to. I’m currently waiting on a reply to my email asking them what address to return them to and if they had a label (prepaid or not) that I could affix to my package. 4 days, no response still. I have a bad feeling that if I ever get my items back to the correct warehouse that the return will be a nightmare as service is already horribly slow, my goodness. I’m starting to think he got this rich because he sells products and allows returns but makes it impossible to do so. Very unhappy, shop for his products from an affiliated seller like beautybay or something if you really must have them. Avoid Jeffreestarcosmetics.com

Made my middle school self happy

As someone who watched Jeffree when I was in sixth grade, I remember always wanting his makeup. Now, I am 19, and I recently bought the artistry singles, concealer, and artistry singles 9-piece pan set. It came in a pink box with the Jeffree star logo and had some cute tissue paper inside. Overall, it was the nicest package I have received. The formulas are great, and I am really impressed. This made my middle school dreams come true, and I highly recommend. Just ordered the Blood sugar palette as well, since I was so impressed.

I am very disappointed in the customer…

I am very disappointed in the customer service for the company. I ordered a grinder and received it with broken teeth or whatever they are called. I notified customer service and was ignored and did not receive a response. If you are going to provide broken products and ignore the customer, I will no longer shop here and ensure I provide this experience to anyone thinking of purchasing from this site.
