Never buy anything from JBL
They are scammers who do not accept returns. I have not been able to return the headphones since 26.10, which are just not the right size for my son (they are pressing into his ears). They wrote me 3 letters and 3 times they sent me a label with a picture of the battery and said that I didn't understand anything, that it was actually a shipping label. Every time on the phone they say that they are still dealing with my issue and that they don't understand why there is no label for dispatch and write letters that I have to wait 2 more working days. I've been waiting since 10/26/10, in 10 days it will be a month - they are stalling and won't accept a refund. The worst company ever.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Utterly appalling customer service, the staff are so rude & argumentative. I placed an order & received the wrong item this was nearly two weeks ago now. I've rung twice & emailed numerous times all the agents I've dealt with are very rude & have no solution for my problem so I'm out of pocket & have an item I do not want!! I just wish id of read the reviews before purchasing! Do not buy from avoid at all costs it's added loads of stress to my life I've lost a day at work due to waiting in for a wrong item. Utterly shocking don't know how they are still in business to be honest.

Don’t buy directly from JBL
I ordered headphones directly from JBL and they sent me the wrong item (a speaker). I needed them for a race and they won’t send the item until the receive the wrong item back and process it for 4 days before they will even send out my headphones. Waste of time it’s already been 2 weeks and I won’t see the headphones for another 2 weeks!!!

Ordered parts from the website confirmation email stated delivery in 2-3 days. After a week i called to ask when i could expect my items
The person that i spoke to basically said tough luck you’ll have to wait. His attitude was very poor. Im 10 days after ordering and my order is still pending.

My son purchased some headphones from them and had an issue, the sound quality wasn’t great. Customer service were amazing, we sent the headphones back under warranty and in less than a week they were returned to us, completely fixed. I’m not sure why they have such a bad Trustpilot score, my experience has been above and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

Avoid buying products directly from JBL as it is clear after dealing with their customer service that they have a directive to not refund or replace defective products. I purchased a pair of Tune 310-USB-C wired headphones and the integrated remote failed after a week of normal use. The button used to lower the volume broke and is stuck on rendering the headphones useless.
I am 6 emails in with customer support and do not have a resolution yet after they sent me a response with standard boiler plate language, copied below:
Please be advised this limited warranty does not cover damage or failures that are a result of:
Damage caused by accident, unreasonable use or neglect (including the lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance)
Damage to, or deterioration of, any accessory or decorative surface
Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions contained in the owner’s manual.
Damage resulting from the performance of repairs by someone other than an authorized JBL service center
Deterioration of component parts, the nature of which is to become worn or depleted with use such as batteries and headphone ear pad
The customer service rep did not say which of those items applied to my situation, or how they had come to that conclusion.
After pushing back that none of those applied in this case I received a vague response, copied below:
Thank you for letting us know. We have coordinated this with our internal team. We'll provide you with an update once they respond...
That was two days ago, and I started this process with them a week ago. I will update this review if they resolve the issue.

Have 6 Jbl speakers and work amazing, probably the best . 1 is 10 years old and still works amazing and also battery .
I’ve bought 2 travel speakers now and both only come with a charge cord and no plug in. For the price they charge I find it ridiculous.
Only reason they get a 2 star and I want to give them a 1 star just for being so cheap .

your jbl "award winning design" is not award winning by the slightest, your earphones quality in sound, and the way its "supposed" to go on your ear is completely useless and makes everything harder, worst earphones ive bought.
Terrible customer service with very poor communication skills
I'm actually adding a further review to a previous review I posted about JBL customer service.
I should have mentioned that in all of the hours spent trying to resolve issues with them over the phone it was very clear that the majority of their customer service representatives really did not have a good grasp of the English language. I even asked to speak to someone who I could understand and who could understand my English (I am British native British and English speaker). I was repeatedly denied my request.
Rude unhelpful customer service representatives working only from a stencil response guide as opposed to providing human intervention to solve problems.
JBL Disappointing Product Quality and Poor Customer Service
After just three months, the noise cancellation on my earbuds significantly decreased in quality. Despite being under warranty, the customer service seems more focused on making the process difficult rather than resolving the issue. Even though the law is on your side, they seem to ignore it. For a company that charges high prices, the product quality and customer experience are extremely disappointing. I would recommend avoiding this brand entirely. My whole experience is mentally exhausting and they wasted my time and money.
Poor Product & Poor customer Service
Thought I purchased a good quality/reputable product and expected good customer service.
Well, I am extremely disappointed. The unit star having issue after two month . Contacted customer service and they agreed to replace with new unit.
But the whole process of returning defective unit is extremely disappointing. Since don’t have the original box shipping old unit would not be easy and not safe and can be damaged . Offered them my credit card for security deposit so they can ship new unit so I can use the customized box to return the faulty unit. Answer was NO not to mention it was clearly stated they are not responsible for shipping and any damage and would not perform test etc.
Overall, extremely disappointed with brand and customer experience.
Ditch JBL, buy Bose!!
Buy Bose!!! Terrible customer service, my $800 JBL boombox 2 speaker stopped charging, and as it is “out of warranty” they lied to me and said it is unrepairable, only possible to replace under warranty. Which directly contradicts their American website, which lists JBL official repair offices to send it off to, to be repaired. When I mentioned this they said “well in Australia it’s not possible to repair” funny that the exact same speaker can be repaired in America but in Australia I’d have to drop another $800 on a new one? No thank you!! I will be only buying Bose from now on because I know that they offer repairs and replacements outside of warranty, because they garner their products work or they’ll fix them, as they should!! Shame on you JBL, buy Bose 🙌🏻

Terrible for music - can barely hear it when full volume in the car. Took it back but soundstore wouldn't refund as they said there was no fault. Just met a friend who had exactly the same experience but he got a refund as he bought from a different store.
Definitely not recommended. Awful.
JBL Boombox2 JUNK
JBL Boombox2 ,was great for the first yearor so. They update with the Bluetooth connection. Was sitting outside enjoying the music and noticed the app had an update available.Started the update and that was the last time it ever worked. Contacted JBL/HarmonKardon and proceeded with guidance from Tech Support to try to recover it. Everything from a hard reset to a myriad of button sequence pushing. At the end Hajaii offered a discount for a new one or guidance for shipping to a repair facility. If you're interested it's for sale cheap. SOUNDBOKS is the way to go. Do not waste your money on JBL
JBL are crooks!!
JBL deserves - zero stars. They are a bunch of crooks. They delivered my speaker to the wrong address. Customer service and a supervisor told me that they did their part and delivered the package and would not send me a replacement. I’m being forced to pay $360 for a speaker I didn’t receive. Good luck getting that money. They are no help at all. Customer service needs to get rid of those heavy accents and learn to speak English too. The supervisor Dafniz I dealt with was very rude and could have cared less about my situation. He basically told me sorry - pay the money and get over it. He also refused to give me his last name. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional company that is this huge. Don’t they have a loss department?? NOW YOU KNOW HOW JBL TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS. DISGRACEFUL
