A great service, very professional.

I've been using the services that Jam provide for a number of years and I find them to be very professional. They have different ways of handling different types of enquiry. For example callers who need technical help with an issue they're having are directed to our email support line whereas callers who have a sales enquiry are asked for their contact details and informed that someone will contact them. For every call we receive an email explaining what it was about and what follow up is required.

Not worth it

Service is average - get my company name wrong so often when answering phone. Also, the packages on offer are set amounts (you cannot chose your own amount to top up) and if credit remains on account when you wish to terminate the line, it is non-refundable. Scandalous.

Following an emergency

Following an emergency, I found setting up Jam to answer phones en masse easy to do.
The operators did their jobs excellently and we were impressed.
We will definitely use them again.

Takes the stress out of business

Fantastic service very helpful and professional, these guys help me with a 24/7 on call system that i need to operate. The team at Jam take our emergency call from a professional environment out of hours allowing our engineers time to wake up and get themselves together prior to speaking with the customer, its quite difficult to go from a state of sleep to a very technical telephone conversation without having a couple of minutes to prepare yourself. They are always on hand to help with any issues and have had a huge impact on the wellbeing of myself and the team by fielding our calls.

Revised review after new staff appointed

I have had a call answering service with Jam/Answer.co.uk for many years. Just recently, charges are ridiculous. If your number is called you get charged, even when a message isn't taken. £25 worth of 'caller hung up' in less than 24 hours, dozens over the last month. It's impossible to speak to anyone at this company. Blunt, impersonal messages are sent by employees through their platform, none of which answer your query. Jam/Answer.co.uk has been called several times to ask to speak to an account manager to discuss and resolve issues . The customer service team don't have a number to transfer calls to and they don't return calls. Customer service is non-existent. Avoid.

In response:
After trying to contact Jam for a week, leaving messages as there is no telephone number for customer services and emailing, I finally received a call from a lovely, helpful manager yesterday. I understand the company has been sold recently and is undergoing a transformation. Hopefully things will get back to how they were.

UPDATE:
Since writing this review, Answer/Jam have new staff and they have been amazing. Special thanks to Kelly, who was allocated as account manager, took a look at all the issues we were experiencing and resolved each and every one. Kelly is easy to contact and responds quickly to questions and queries. Thank you Kelly for restoring my faith in Jam and Answer.

Money Grabbing Service Quick to Talk Your Money Slow to Set Up Your Account Avoid.

They take forever to set up your account. Then try to upsell you to buy additional time and screens that you didn’t ask for. You never got through to anybody in customer service. Our account isn’t up and running yet, but so far the indication is that they are going to be a complete headache company to work with I wouldn’t recommend them.

JAM - great service all around

JAM was great in communicating from start to finish of setting up the account, also the initial calls about understanding our business and our needs was brilliant as well. We are a month in and everything works perfectly, the onboarding team, our manager Claudia is there to support if we have questions or needs any tweaking. All in all great decision to go and start our journey together.

Terrible experience.

Terrible.

Firstly = they over charge you for call lenght.

I have many examples of calls taking 2 mins and they charge for like 4-5 mins quoting the additional time is a "wrap up time" and you are still expected to pay for this additional time.

It turns out you might pay £6-£7 for a basic 2 mins call.

Also, not very reliable.

I have advised them, I am on holidays, business is in operation mon / wed / friday. Customers calling on tuesday and thursday must be advised we will call back next day - they couldn't handle that.

Customer asks "when will my call be returned" advisor says they will call you back shortly, even though notes were left the business is off that day due to my holidays. Overall, becouse of the way they handled these calls I still needed to work on days off.

I wanted to make a complaint, they ignored my e-mails. I told them to stop the service, and 2 months later they still send me invoices even though no calls answerred.

Avoid, there are much better & cheaper providers out there.

You have replied that you have reached out to me, noone has been in touch, noone has replied to my e-mails either.

Friendly, professional service.

We are in the early stages of using Jam but are already seeing a great improvement on previous experiences with another provider. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, the systems are informative and easy to navigate.
