OUT OF BUSINESS

Please be aware the are NOW OUT OF BUSINESS. I used IYogi for a good few years in the early days and had nothing but good experiences. Their team was polite and capable, in fact watching them go into my computer taught me a lot. It was their team that told me to contact HP and send the computer back for free repair. In the last year they did try selling a lot that I never bought. When computers became self cleaning I didn't seem to need them anymore and discontinued my subscription.

Scam

Scam! They say refund of non-existing charge. They want access to your computer. When I mentioned calling the police the guy, ('Paul' with a heavy Indian accent) said, "Fine, I'm charging you $299!" and hung up. So stupid and wrong. Don't be more stupid than they are.

Scammer

I don't know about the company in the past, but for 1 year I am keep on getting call saying you have $299 refund. I don't have any money to get from them. Once I said that, they start to speak in Hindi language with the unprofessional language. Is there no any way to stop this kind of scammer? Please don't wast your time and people's time. Use your brain in productive thing not cheating people.

STAY AWAY

iYogi are a bunch of Tech Support Scammers. They will connect to your computer and charge you for "fixing it". Stay away from these scammers. I urge you, they will just steal your money

Purveyor of Ransomware - Company are scammers.

This company takes out advertising spaces on social media which is click bait. The adverts will usually say a famous personality has died (ie gordon ramsey, richard branson, keith richards etc). Clicking the link takes you to a website on the iyogi subdomain. You will hear a looped recording saying that your PC is infected and you must phone "Windows Support" which is actually their phone number. They tell you that failure to contact support will result in your PC being disabled. If you phone up they will demand several hundred £ to remotely clean your PC.
In all likelyhood there is nothing wrong with your PC. To clear all the popups though you will need to reboot your PC.

iyogi does not pay USA techs

Iyogi owes me $130 for fixing one of their customer's laptop's hard drives.

They approved the work order, but never paid me. Has been over 1 month now.

Attorney General of Washington is now suing them for scam charges, also, since few days ago....

Iyogi has always given me useful help

As a rather elderly user of the computer I find being able to communicate with an Iyogi represantative by written messages is so much easier than having to listen to and act on instructions on the phone as my hearing is not as good as formerly.

They have also been quick to make good anything that needed further attention. Always willing to ensure any problem has been solved satisfactorily and always very patient with slow learners.

Excellent online services

I have been using the services of 'iyogi' since July of 2010 and recently renewed my association with this company for another 5 years.

'iyogi' is the only online support group I have ever used. I know there are other companies offering similar services but I have never felt the need or desire to check them out as I am 100% confident in iyogi's ability to answer my needs.........whether it is problems with downloading; opening attachments, cleaning and optimizing, setting up programs, backing up files, getting advice on purchase of new hardware, checking for 'conflicts' between/among programs, dealing with 'corrupt' files, etc., etc. I have NEVER had an issue that was unsolveable. Technicians are all certified and if an issue becomes particularly problematic, then it is escalated to a higher level technician and ultimately to a member of the 'expert' group of more senior tecks who study the problem and, usually within 24 hours, the problem is addressed to my satisfaction.

There is no limit to the number of times a person can avail oneself of these services.

I have 100% confidence in these technicians and for me, TRUST is the most important quality I look for particularly when handing over control of something as personal and private as a computer.

Many of these employees I have come to know on a first name basis. (an indication of the number of times I have sought out their help!!)

There are various packages offered and the rates extremely competitive.

I live in a rural area of Canada where it is not always easy or practical to pack up my computer and travel great distances to get my computer fixed. Iyogi makes it extremely easy. All I have to do is sit back and watch!!

The only two negatives are the occasional 'high pressure' sales people who insists on selling you some additional package, but a politely determined 'No, thanks' will take care of that; and 2) the mix-up in time zones wherein my phone may ring at 2 AM in lieu of 2 PM!!!

I welcome this opportunity to add my voice to the many satisfied customers.

How comforting to hear one of the technicians say, 'No problem, Sir, I will take care of this problem and put a smile back on your face!!”

Long time confidence

I have depended on Iyogi almost from the beginning when Microsoft handed over support questions. Success with these questions led to signing up for annual relationships. The skill level over the remote connection is normally as good as I have ever experienced. Note, the service is available 24/7. Any time I have a problem - late at night, weekends. If the resolution is not quite right, I reconnect and get it resolved immediately. Note, the cost for this superb year-long coverage, is in the range of only two hours from a local tech. Iyogi has worked hard to earn my business.

Helpful

I have had a positive experience getting problems resolved. The only problem I didn't like was sometimes I was on the phone with the support guy for 3 or4 hours. The other thing I didn't like was every time I call they were always trying to sell me something. If I need to renew something they should send me and a 2 month advanced notice when it is due. That way I can save money for that service I need.

Thank YOU... iYogi

I have had several 'issues' that were easily fixed by 'calling on' the iYogi support members. They KNIOW what they are doing... and they get the work/fixes completed in short order. I have NEVER had an issue that was not resolved for me!

IYogi is a good service company for many people.

There have been a few things that I have had trouble getting fixed myself. IYogi helped when I couldn't get it done myself. There has only been 1 occasion where IYogi did cause my computer to not work, but they did get the ball rolling to repair my computer. It was just a simple problem, but it took less than 24 hours to fix it and I'd recommend IYogi highly.

Hit or Miss

iYogi is a hit or miss proposition. About three-fourths of the techs are fantastic and they bring a level of professionalism to their work. However, there are about one-fourth who perform at a subpar level. It is the way it is--there is no predicting when you will get a bad apple.
