Awful scammers
Booked a train at 2pm. Gave me a pdf that turned out to be useless despite booking number etc. Said they'd email me tickets but never did. Sent emails - no response. Called their German office, despite calling the correct number I was told they only dealt with Italian trains. £120 down the drain. This is a scam!

We travelled across Italy using italia trains and can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. We had booked seats in economy class. The seats are leather reclining in economy. Very enjoyable journey. Would recommend them.

I rang the team from Italiatren, a website I accidentally used when trying to use the real TrenItalia website because it appeared higher in a Google search thanks to how much they pay to appear higher than the real website, where you do not pay a commission for exactly the same products, and can amend, refund, and receive appropriate support for issues with rail tickets.
I was told, immediately after purchase, when I noticed the date entered was incorrect that I would just have to swallow a few hundred euros of purchases, because I had used their abysmal website by accident rather than the real TrenItalia site.
I rang TrenItalia to discuss this issue and they were very apologetic that I was yet another person who had the misfortune of accidentally purchasing from this website and that there was little they could do.
I stand by my original rating.

We had to pay Twice for the same tickets and got no response from Complaint sent
We had to pay twice for 4 passengers to travel from Venice to Florence costing us an additional $228 Euros. We filed a complaint to get the $228 Euros back but got no response 115 days after filing it on Oct 25, 2022. We were unable to obtain the necessary PNR code to obtain our tickets through our phones due to the Venice train station's WiFi system down which then required us to purchase a second set of tickets. The train station could not look up our information without this same code, like airlines do with just your name. We are extremely dissatisfied with a complete lack of response.

The film on the windows dampend my view!
I love trains. My one problem with my trip was that I was sitting where the windows were covered with a partially transparent film that had advertizing on it. I just couldn't see much out the windows. And I love to watch the world go by. It really dampened my experience, especially as the sun started to set and the view through the flim grew dimmer.
