New MacBook battery - great company!
Got a new battery for my MacBook as a returning customer. It was ordered and installed in no time at all - and it's an authentic Apple battery, not some cheap knockoff or a brand you haven't heard of. Unbeatable service and miles cheaper than Apple. Trustworthy and transparent.
Quick, helpful and good value !
Had my iPhone SE screen display replaced - was super quick and a fair price to pay for my clumsiness ! Thank you - I know where to go if this (hopefully never) happens again !

My iPod Classic 160GB finally started dying
My iPod Classic 160GB finally started having hard drive issues. Doing the diagnostics there were over 200 bad sectors so it was going to become unrecoverable at some point and it wasn't syncing with iTunes because of the errors.
Since the iPod Classic is out of production, I did check around for a 'new' one which would range anywhere from £200 and up.
My partner happened upon the iPatch website and knowing that if I went to the Apple store it would either cost me an arm and a leg, possible another morgage as well, if they even could fix it OR they'd want me to buy a Nano or Touch or some such nonsense, I decided to give iPatch a call to see what they could do.
Being a tech myself, I had a look online for instructions on putting a new hard drive into the iPod. While all of the instructions I looked at were well written and looked good, I was highly nervous about doing this because there's a big chance of damaging the case, or the wires were very sensitive, or some other caveat to make me quake.
I questioned the tech who answered the phone about what my options were and he was very informative about the choices and prices. I went down the next day and dropped off the iPod, with the gentleman (Ben) saying it would be done in a half hour. I was shocked at this because looking at those directions, it would have taken me a week (with a lot of swearing) to get it done. I figured, they're the experts, let 'em at it!
I did, in fact, get a text a half hour later saying that it was done.
I went down and picked up my iPod, now with an SSD hard drive! The cost was well worth the great service and excellent staff which I spoke with. These techs know their stuff! I'm truly grateful for their hard work, which is probably easy for them since they do it all day long, and knowledge. There wasn't a scratch or dent on the iPod; I couldn't even tell that it had been opened. I'm sure I would have mangled it enough to make it look like origami. They restored the OS and tested with some music to make sure it worked. When I got home, I restored and sync'd it. What used to take me half a day to do now took me a matter of hours (I have a LOT of music). In addition, I have increased capacity and no moving parts in the iPod now, making it more reliable.
I highly recommend iPatch for your tech needs. I will be using their services again for my Apple products.
Good honest service at a good price...
Very fast, good value and more importantly, honest recommendations as to what’s best. Have used them a few times in the past and will use them again. Repair costs are around 2/3 the price of Apple. All genuine Apple parts too.
