We are still on cloud 9… Our wedding day was 01.06.2024. Ionian weddings, we cannot express our gratitude enough. From the start, when we was picking a company to plan our dream day, to finish Ionian weddings have been an absolute delight.

From the very first email, we had nothing but quick and detailed responses, they made absolutely everything feel easy and that’s exactly what we was looking for as usually the thought of planning a wedding would feel stressful. Nothing in this whole process was ever stressful and any query we had was answered promptly.

Maria, our wonderful UK wedding planner was absolutely fantastic, ensuring every question, small or big, was answered without fuss and even questioning us on every little detail, even the things we hadn’t thought of, we were just super impressed. The communication between her, our Italian wedding planners and ourselves was so hassle free and so organised. We had phone calls and even video calls so we could put a face to the name, it was all so very professional, warm and friendly which is exactly what you want when your putting your trust into somebody to plan your big day.

She was even lovely enough to phone us to wish us well before the wedding and to email us after to congratulate us. We felt that was so heart warming and like we had made a friend in her, so thank you so much Maria.

We got married in Sorrento, Italy. And wow wow wow, our wonderful wedding planner Viola, what an absolute credit to the team. Viola, we can’t thank you enough. We had visited Sorrento twice before our big day, and Viola always made an effort to get in touch with us, we had several different meetings when we was there, we felt like we knew her so well by our big day as she had always made us feel so so comfortable, and we couldn’t of wished for anyone better to co-ordinate our day. She planned our pre wedding meeting with the wonderful Owner of Relais Blu (if you ever get the opportunity to visit this beautiful hotel, DO IT WITHOUT A DOUBT!) the most beautiful place on earth with the most fabulous staff who made our day absolutely perfect)
Viola also organised a meeting with our amazing photographer Alessio (Bros Photography), he was a wonderful man. Absolute delight to have him photograph our day. Every time we met Viola, we was astonished after, this lady does not miss a thing! The absolute detail and thoroughness she would go through when discussing our day was incredible. She knew how important it was, she cared about how important it was and you really felt it was more than just a job to her, you could feel it from the heart. On our big day, she was here there and everywhere, making sure I was ok whilst getting ready, my husband was organised and all the guests were seen to. She was just so professional and made our day go so so smoothly, people always said not everything on your day will go perfect but thank you to Viola, it really really did. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Viola, we look forward to catching up on our next visit.

Our wonderful translator, Rosaria, who would also come along to our wedding meetings, is just the biggest ray of sunshine. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to translate to us on our wedding day, the warmest, friendliest lady. Thank you so much Rosaria, you are a credit to Ionian weddings. Thank you for keeping us organised and for running through everything with us, you always made us feel at ease, we never thought we would be so calm, but because of you, we had no worries about our ceremony.

All of the suppliers Ionian weddings use, are absolutely fantastic. Our flowers were absolutely amazing, the florists were just fabulous, the decor, just absolutely everything. Ionian weddings and Relais Blu. What an AMAZING pair you are together.

We definitely feel like we was lead to Ionian weddings for a reason, and we are so so glad we came across them. Thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts.

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be and more. From start to finish of the planning process, Ionian Weddings were amazing. We had some tricky moments with the paperwork and making sure this was all correct, but the team were a great help in answering our questions and making sure everything was sorted. Having planners in the UK and in Italy was great and getting legally married abroad wouldn’t have been possible without their help.

We will never forget how special our wedding day was and all our guests agree. We would recommend Ionian Weddings to anyone who would like a wedding abroad.

WOW. My husband decided he wanted an abroad wedding... I didn't know where to even begin. Ionian Weddings are incredible, the entire team are so hands on guiding you through every step.

We were partnered with Rachel for our Santorini Wedding at Le Ciel. She is absolutely brilliant. Contactable via email and phone. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Her attention to detail and giving us plenty of time to make decisions. She was transparent, honest and so helpful.

When we arrived in Santorini we were then partnered with their local wedding planning Giannis, again, bubbly, friendly, and his attention to detail was incredible. The day went without a hitch. He went through every detail with us 2 days before our wedding at a face2face meeting at the venue. He left no stone unturned. How he brought Rachel and I's planning to life.. breathtaking !!!.

Patricia helped with the legal paperwork, and was fabulous.. she made it all so easy.

Ionian weddings have been absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t recommend them enough. From start to finish they hold your hand throughout the whole process to ensure your wedding is exactly what you want. We had a perfect day (and week) staying in villa Cungi, Tuscany. It was the most beautiful venue and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Thank you to Maria and Serena for being second to none. We will never forget our perfect day 🖤

If we could give 10 stars it still wouldn't be enough. Our final day was amazing, every last detail catered to, to perfection. From the very start of our journey with Helen in the UK, providing thorough information, guiding us step by step and reassuring us about things like the legal documents side of things (which all went so smoothly), to our coordinator Cheradie (now lovingly known as Celery) in Cyprus, who was so personable, put us at ease and made us feel like we were the only wedding couple she was dealing with even though that wasn't the case. All the finer details were catered for and honestly it couldn't have been any better. The venue was out of this world. It can be quite daunting putting your trust in a company to organise your wedding if you've never actually been and seen it but wow, the Cyprus Private beach is like looking at an airbrushed cut out of a magazine, idyllic, rustic, beautiful blue and turquoise waters, honestly breath taking and the villas so clean and have everything you need including more great staff (Helena in particilar) going above and beyond, making sure everything was just right, having a laugh with us like we were old friends and even bringing us some home made Halloumi to try. I could write pages and pages here but I shall finish now to just say thank you. Thank you to every single person involved in making our day so much better than we could have imagined and anyone reading this, do not hesitate in getting yours booked here.

I had the best experience ever, got married yesterday at antisamos beach kefalonia! Wow what a day,

When I originally booked Lindsay dealt with me and she was a huge help , Patricia too! Emma soon took over and was an absolute star! Always had super prompt replies & was so helpful was nothing she couldn’t do for me.

I had a lovely wedding planner in Greece Dimitra she was a star!! Made me feel so at ease and made my day just how I planned it, she was absolutely amazing 1000 out of 10! Aswell as owner Dimitra they were all amazing , food and drink was fabulous.
Also had a DJ & photographer in our package and just amazing!

Cake was absolutely lovely also , honestly couldn’t have had it any better was the best day wish I could relive it , thank you to everyone at Ionian weddings & antisamos beach!!! Xxx

Could not recommend Ionian Weddings enough!! Lucy has been brilliant all throughout. We were in touch with a few other wedding planners, and we were instantly won over by Ionian Weddings. There are other planners out there who see your wedding as a tick box appointment, then instantly moving on to the next couple, but not Ionian Weddings. Really appreciated how they listened to our requests and ensured they captured what we truly wanted. In just under 2 months, we managed to book our dream wedding venue!! We did not feel rushed/ pressured, and they even made sure we were 1000% happy with the decision before paying the deposit. Thank you again Lucy and looking forward to working with the rest of the team :)

We are due to fly to Skiathos on Wednesday and up until now Emma has been absolutely fantastic! She has been so attentive to any questions we have, very quick replies and always finds the answers. Planning a wedding abroad seemed a little daunting but Lucy extinguished those fears instantly. So helpful and ready to answer my millions of question. We can’t wait to get stuck into the planning .

Myself and my partner have just picked and secured our Cyprus wedding venue for May 2026. We were unsure of exactly what we wanted and had been disappointed with other venues being fully booked, Patricia was great in helping us find a perfect venue and securing a date. Looking forward to working with Ionian weddings to make our day special!

We just want to let you know we had an excellent day and the venue was even better than we had ever imagined. Everyone loved the barman who helped us party the night away! The food was a hit as well!
