We’ve been using Inventory Planner for over a year, and it’s proven to be a highly effective tool for demand forecasting and replenishment planning. The system handles complex multi-supplier scenarios well—we manage over 3,000 SKUs across 20+ suppliers—and its forecasting models have significantly improved our ordering accuracy. One standout feature is the ability to ingest external data via Google Sheets, which has allowed us to implement custom logic and integrate edge-case workflows that aren’t supported by native connectors. Although it was quite complicated, and took some time to get to grips with the navigation and how to set up filters and views once in place it has become a very usefull tool.

Stuck Paying for a Product We Can’t Use
We’ve been with Inventory Planner since before Sage acquired them—back when the platform was lean, reliable, and backed by great customer support. After the acquisition, our subscription cost was increased threefold.
In early 2025, after renewing our annual subscription, we transitioned to a 3PL that Inventory Planner had no integration with. Despite reaching out promptly to explain the situation and explore solutions, support offered nothing viable. As a result, we could no longer use the software.
We requested a refund for the remainder of the contract, but they refused. We’re now stuck having paid for eight months of a product we can’t use.
Support acknowledged the issue but hid behind policy instead of making any good-faith effort to help. If your business values fairness, transparency, and customer service, we strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

When your team transitioned to a non-native connection, our support team outlined several options, including a referral to a trusted partner who builds custom integrations and our Early Access ACSV feature. ACSV (Advanced CSV) allows you to connect Inventory Planner to virtually any tech stack, even if we don’t have a native integration—by syncing your data through a flexible, customizable file format. Although your business was not interested in these suggested solutions, we believe ACSV continues to present a promising option moving ahead.
We do our best to be transparent about what’s possible and what’s covered under our terms—and while we weren’t able to offer a refund, we’re still here to support you in making the most of your subscription.

Bianca was always available for Zoom calls to ensure that every question was answered and that we were confident moving forward. Thanks to her and support, we feel completely equipped to leverage the full potential of Inventory Planner. There were a few misunderstandings at the beginning during the onboarding process but when Teo Necula was put in charge of our account, everything got ironed out and all issues were solved diplomatically and fairly which we appreciated so much. We were so happy that we extended to work with Inventory Planner for another 2 years after our first year.

From a service perspective I cant fault these guys. Teo and his team have been extremely responsive and helpful every time we have reached out to them for assistance. Some aspects of the software were insufficiently scoped by ourselves, and haven't always met the business needs we'd hoped, but Teo has been instrumental in trying to help us put this right and I would highly recommend dealing with him.

Excellent purchasing software
We've been using Inventory Planner for 3 years. In that time we've grown from £4m/year to >£10m/year.
We use it in a stack with Shopify Plus and Peoplevox. We raise around 25 POs per day, a mixture of demand led purchasing and forecasted purchasing.
Inventory Planner lets us easily create POs based on our sales history and future forecasts. It is easy to tailor things to have different purchasing settings for different suppliers which can be done at a high level or on an SKU basis. It is very powerful.
Every grid within IP can be customised with a huge range of columns. We use these to get a very accurate view of what we're purchasing - e.g. we can show 7/14/30/60/90/365 day sales and potential profit against every line we're looking at adding to a PO. The reporting functions are extremely comprehensive.
Our purchasing decision making is massively improved since using IP. It gives huge confidence to us. We work in a very low margin industry with massive competition.
Our account manager Chan Yi has been great.

The best in demand planning!
We have tried a lot of demand planning software and Inventory Planner is by far the best. The layout of the software is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing you to create your perfect view. The integrations that we have used alongside our other software has been incredibly tight. Plus, the support is always great. I honestly don't know how we would stay on top of our large sku count without it.
