DO NOT CLICK REGISTER OR GIVE ANY INFO

Out of the blue call about how I’ve signed up on social media somewhere for a free trading consultation. DO NOT REGISTER.
I explained I was busy so instead they try to reschedule the call and are extremely pushy. Also the caller told me to fill his name into the form so that they know who it was that worked there that called me and claimed his name was “Peter griven ” like Peter griffin from family guy which I heavily doubt was his name.basically just hang up and forget abt them and give them no details it’s fine to be rude they’re trying to scam you.

Pushy callers

They called out of the blue and they had some of my details. I asked him to send me some details on email as I would not do any business over the phone. The guy said that they don't send emails because people can get scammed that way through links but that I could go onto their website to see what they are all about.

So I went onto the website and he then tells me to click to register. I advised him that I would investigate the website in my own time and come back to it if I deemed it to be worth while.

The guy was very pushy and telling me that I was not listening to him.
I told him I didn't want to be rude to him and said that I would look into this in my own time but still he was persisting that I click on to the register now button.

I had enough of the guy persisting and just hung up the call.

Stay clear from this company

Stay clear from this company.

They claim to provide entirely free consultations in stock market trading. And that when you trade with them you'll get to keep all the profits from your trades.

I asked them simply to explain in what way any of this benefits them and none of it made any sense. They tried to deflect the question with basic maths (what is the profit if you buy at $2000 and sell at $2500?), then they said some nonsense about brokers paying them. But brokers are people you pay to trade stocks, not people that pay you for trading stocks.

If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Called out of the blue

Called out of the blue offering investment training. Would not give any details of costs involved just kept saying there would be no costs for advice as they are paid by brokers. Although I said their system would not work for me they did not seem to want me to go off the phone. Kept insisting that I would have to fund one of their brokers when I explained I had my own.

Website mentions Anydesk and other remote access I told them I would not be providing access to phone or computer.

I asked them to show me a demo for the platform and they said that I would do that on the third party broker website but if I did that they couldn’t help me.

Extremely pushy… when I said I would investigate their company further and found the website to be 50% untrustworthy they said let’s investigate now and I can answer questions. My feeling is most legit companies would be more than happy to have you do further research into them and how they work.

Have a bad feeling about them. Too pushy, too eager for me to invest, too unwilling to let me off the phone. And if they are a training company and do not make trades just advise clients which way to go why would I not be able to use my own brokers.

If it is legit they have to work on their pitch as it felt dodgy all the way.

Also I am on telephone preference service and have never requested trading advice from these people.
