I just started the course “User…
I just started the course “User Research: Methods and Best Practices”, so my review will not be complete. I have done user experience research before, but it was important for me to hear from practicing UX professionals about the need for it.
The motivation I received helped me conduct a study in which I identified the company's values as seen by users of its product, and also conceptualized these values in one deep concept and identified the main difference of the company in the market. The presentation based on the research contained enough arguments, supported by facts, for the company's management to begin to take action on this new information.
My next step will be to conduct a study of interactions within the company to improve its sustainability. It will probably be necessary to shift the system of values and measures from artificial ones, such as money and fame, to natural ones, such as health and education, which Don Norman talks about in his course "Design for a Better World".

Unnecessary course pacing disrupts learning
Interaction Design Foundation offers material that is 100% focused on UX, which sets it apart from many other e-learning platforms.
However, a major drawback is their pacing system, which forces a mandatory pause of a week or more between course sections. While I understand the intention might be to encourage reflection or prevent rushing, this rigid structure severely disrupts the learning flow. It’s frustrating to engage actively for 1-2 hours, only to have your progress halted for days. This disrupts momentum and forces me to juggle multiple courses simultaneously just to stay productive.
The pacing feels like a deliberate mechanism to stretch out memberships, as it artificially limits how quickly you can complete courses. As a learner, this is counterproductive

I’m currently taking the UX Design course with the Interaction Design Foundation, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The curriculum is incredibly well-structured, combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises that make the concepts easy to apply in real-world scenarios.
The flexibility to learn at my own pace is a huge plus, especially with a busy schedule. The quality of content, expert instructors, and the supportive community of learners have made this a truly enriching experience.

Same as most people, no information prior. They billed me for annual membership without any notice! NEVER AGAIN! Now i see that it is their pattern so I have no hope but i contacted local Customer protection agencies as this is not legal in Europ i believe!

I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling frustrated. I understand how it can feel when things don’t seem clear. On that note, we display our prices in the same way as companies like Adobe, Figma, Dropbox, Microsoft, Notion, etc. It’s an industry standard and makes it easy to compare prices across the internet.
We offer both monthly and yearly billing options, and it looks like you opted for the yearly plan. We really do our best to make all pricing info clear and avoid frustration from our users: We write it 2 places on the sign-up pages, on the billing page, in the invoice email, in our reminder email, and a few other places. The reason I’m mentioning this is just because we’re so passionate about UX/customer experience– so we really designed every single detail with as much care and perfectionism as possible – including the pricing info. In this case, we really did our best to make it super clear :-)
It seems you may have missed this info but I’m always here to help clarify any details for you. We’re happy to take on your feedback and see if there’s anything else we can do.

A great community I have been with since 2021. I am always impressed with the level of education and knowledge here.
Excellent learning experience. Resources and tools are all well-organized and pretty user-friendly.
Recently, I've gotten an opportunity to experience their remarkable customer support. They are efficient in response, understanding, and seem very concerned about the experiences one shares.

Keep your own pace
Interaction Design course system is really helpful to keep your own pace while not rushing even if you want to. It's about learning not just collecting certificates like a race horse. Being able to take classes in text and video is efficient and keep your focus longer than I expected. Besides the courses, you can get webinars from many different specialists who are the best in their areas is such a unique opportunity also.

"IxDF is doing an excellent job. As someone working in a related field and looking to transition into a UX career, I struggled to find an affordable resource that provided comprehensive and actionable skills—until I found IxDF. The platform has taught me a great deal, and I’ve been able to apply and showcase these skills in my professional journey.
The only reason I'm not giving a full 5-star rating is that I personally find reading extensive amounts of material tiring, as I’m not particularly a 'reading' person. That said, the video lessons are absolutely perfect and incredibly engaging.
Additionally, the customer service and support are outstanding. Any issues I encountered were addressed promptly and professionally. Overall, IxDF is a fantastic platform for anyone looking to dive into UX design!
