⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience

I traded with IC Markets under Account No. 155360 and had a very disappointing experience.

After depositing substantial funds and actively trading, I encountered serious issues with the handling of my account and complaint. Instead of conducting what I believe should have been a thorough investigation, I was later informed that I was "not their customer," despite having traded through the IC Markets brand. In my view, this response was inconsistent with my experience and prevented my complaint from being properly addressed.

I have spent years collecting evidence, including account records, payment history, correspondence, and regulatory documentation, in an effort to resolve this dispute. Unfortunately, I remain dissatisfied with the outcome and the way my concerns have been handled.

If you plan to trade with IC Markets, make sure you:

Keep copies of every deposit and withdrawal.
Save all emails, account statements, and trading records.
Verify the exact legal entity with which your account is opened.
Understand which regulator has jurisdiction before investing significant funds.

This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope the company will engage constructively to resolve outstanding disputes with affected clients.

I am currently setting up an automated trading bot and I was struggling to connect properly to my new live account on MetaTrader 5 (my account was showing strange parameters like Netting mode). I contacted IC Markets' Live Chat and the issue was resolved in literally 2 minutes! The agent immediately identified that I was using the wrong server name in the MT5 dropdown list.

They gave me the exact server name to type in, and everything connected perfectly. The support agent was highly professional, fast, and helpful. Moreover, the account opening process was very smooth and the Raw spreads are excellent for my algorithm. I 100% recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable broker with a solid customer service.
