Do not use icastelli.net

Do not use icastelli.net! They would appear to be the hotel you'd like to book, but are not; their service is at the bottom... slightly below, actually. Creepy and deceptive.

Don't use this company

Don't use this company. They took money out of my account for a booking I never confirmed and have had to seek compensation from my card company. The line goes dead when you call and they don't reply to emails

Negative stars if I could - it's a scam

Negative stars if I could. This company is an absolute scam. They do Google sponsored ads posing as hotels. Then the email address includes the name of the hotels so you are duped into thinking you are emailing the hotel directly. Their email responses are designed so they appear as the hotel (i.e., email signature is the hotel, hotel address, hotel brand images, etc.). They request deposits posing as the hotel and even though they have made the reservations with the hotel, they do not pay the deposits. By the time we figured out the scam, they were claiming they were not a scam and that they wouldn't send the deposit to the hotel until we paid the full balance (despite the hotel itself saying they need the deposit as it is past due). No way we would send them any more money. It is a total scam. Advice to all: Make sure to avoid the (intentionally misleading) Sponsored Ads on google and make sure you are actually on the hotels' websites!

I booked a holiday to Morocco in June…

I booked a holiday to Morocco in June 2020. I thought I was on the hotels own site which I have done several times so it did look real. I chose pay at hotel. It wasn't until a few days later that I found £400 deposit had been taken from credit card. Corona Virus instructions from UK government made me want to cancel. No flights will be available. It was then that emailing hotel I found that I had booked through icastelli What a job to find out how to get in touch. No record of booking until I registered. Then I found out that no refund of deposit ,it would be kept on my account but at the time of booking I didn't register, so what are they up to. After my initial email requesting deposit back and their no refund email they have blocked me. I have emailed the Daily Mail and the Trade Department and have made enquiries about them at Companies House. Keep away from this holiday site. £400 just to book through them is unacceptable.
