While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I used the Hypnozio app for a short period and later discovered that it had created a recurring subscription of £82.50 every six months. This is a substantial amount, and I did not see any clear or accessible cancellation option within the app or on the website. The subscription was set up as an automatic payment through PayPal.
When the renewal went through, I contacted the company to request a refund and cancellation. The initial response declined the refund. I explained that the cancellation method was not visible, that I had only used the service twice, and that the subscription had been created through PayPal without clear notice. I also stated that I would raise a PayPal dispute if necessary.
Following this, the company issued a full refund and confirmed the cancellation in writing.
I am sharing this because others may find it useful to know that the subscription cost is relatively high, the cancellation process may not be immediately clear, and the first response to a refund request may be a refusal. If someone is in a similar situation, it may be necessary to follow up firmly and use PayPal’s dispute process if required.
Given that the app is aimed at people seeking support for stress, sleep, or wellbeing, I think it is important that subscription terms and cancellation options are presented clearly and transparently.

I felt relaxed and calm and totally in control of what I wanted to achieve

I cancelled in the app but still got charged later. They then advised I didn't cancel in time, but I don't have proof as in the app and I don't have an active account.
Trying to get a refund but refused. Now going to my bank to try and get help. Feel scammed.

Customer service is great. I enjoyed the course very much and found it helpful but I didn't get as good of results as I had hoped. Nevertheless, I liked it and found it helpful.
