There was a lack of clarity from the customer service representative when handling an early renewal offer.
After accepting the offer, I received a series of confusing emails the following day. One email in particular thanked me for my time and stated it was a pleasure to help, but provided no confirmation that the offer had actually been applied to my account.
After seeking clarification, the customer support representative confirmed that the offer had been applied and advised that a confirmation email had been sent. However, I did not receive this email.
I then asked for the confirmation to be resent, but was advised to check the contract details via My Account.
Poor.

Do not take out broadband with this company. I moved home and Hyperoptic could not provide service at my new address. It was less than 1 mile from the old address and they demanded an early cancellation fee of more than £600 even though they cannot provide a service.
After raising a case with their support team, showing that they never gave me terms and conditions relating to this before I renewed and that they also had several outages at my old address which warranted the early cancellation fee to be waived. They refused to remove the fee.
Now I have been charged more than £600 after being a loyal customer for many years and what is worse is that they are now attempting to take another £400 my bank account for now reason at all.
This company is inhumane, immoral and cannot be trusted. They offered a 30% deduction but never delivered on this promise. They took over £600 from my account leaving me unable to pay for food or pay bills while not providing any service for it.
This company is pure evil and I reported to Ofcom.
Go with BT, Virgin or any other major company who do not charge or have shady practices and hidden terms and conditions.

The man who helped us join hyperoptic today ready for a move next week into a new house, was very helpful and dealt with it very professionally ready for our move. We managed to understand him, but it was a pity that the quality of the call was so poor due to a bubbly interference on the line.
