They asked to pay around 500 euros, because of a small scratch happened to another car by my car because of very strong wind. They said if I paid them did not pay the 500€ they will put me in a lower insurance level, and will increase the monthly payments. Whereas if I pay them, they will continue giving me a higher rank, and it will be like this accident never happened.
Thus, I paid the 500€. Yet, they put me in a lower rank, increased the monthly payments, and never reply to any of my emails! And they don't have a phone number to call!!

I have mixed insurance in HUK24 and this is the first time I've had to report an accident. I called to report the incident and the clerk rudely hung up on me as he did not know English. I asked in German to speak to a colleague who can communicate in English. He informed me that there is no one who speaks English and hung up on me. Sincerely disappointed with their service.

The worst customer service in my entire life.
No one speak English. I pay full casco, yet they told me my car can't be towed because it's not covered (which is a lie, because I have my insurance contract that says it's covered).
Then they yelled at me. Yelled. No joke. How can they still work there? Don't you people check your consultants and how they speak to people? That was beyond rude and totally unacceptable. I hope I will find a new insurance company soon.
I didn't ever care about how much I pay, all I wanted is to make sure when I am in trouble, the full casco should do it. This is the most useless insurance.
Instead of towing my car with a broken tire, I had to call ADAC to replace it. Because even though the towing service is included, due to lack of qualification of the employees, it was not provided to me.
And guess what? The website doesn't offer the support for people with these issues.

My personal experience with HUK is a big disappointment. Their prices just don't make any sense. I have been with the company for 4 years and in 2023 I paid 1000 euro for Teilkasko for an 8 year old car (no claims during this period). In 2024 I switched to another very well known insurer, which not only offers on-site services, but I also pay less money and I get "Vollkasko". Think twice before you engage with these guys!

Don't make a contract with them if you're an expat.
I'm an expat trying to bring my prior driving experience to Germany. I made my contract with HUK24 in late September and claimed that I should be put to SF-Klasse 5. By now my insurance is still not in the right SF-Klasse. These are the unfriendly steps HUK24 did so far (proving how terrible they are in problem solving for their clients, how much they aren't "einfach" and why I'll cancel my insurance at them the next time it'll be possible):
* They told me to prove my prior experience, or they'll put me to entry level SF-Klasse. I asked them to reach out to my previous insurer (gave contacts and stuff) - as I expected them to be able to handle things much more efficiently, to the point. They did _not_ answer to my request, but after 2 weeks they just downgraded my insurance to beginner level. (I started at SF-Klasse 5 according to my claim at the point of creating the contract).
* I approached my previous insurer and then provided HUK24 the Bonusbescheiningung (in German!) which stated clearly that I'm eligible for SF-Klasse 5. They said: I was insured by that insurer only for the last year, so they only take that time frame into account. They refused to take the accumulated time into account - despite that's how the driving experience builds up and is transferred from insurer to insurer everywhere.
* I reached out to all my previous insurers to cover their periods of insurance times. They gave me the documents signed. HUK24 refused to accept those documents for the following ridiculous reason: the "Datum" field on the documents weren't from the right city, the city of the "Hauptstelle", but from another in the country. The reason for this was that the administration of the company is not in the city where the Haupstelle is; the generated pdfs contain the administration's city in the "Datum" field. But all the signatures and the whole document is an official document of the company.
UPDATE: In December or so, I reached out to the Versicherungsombudsmann, (insurance ombudsman), and Julia - see the reply from HUK - reached out to me. My understanding is that the ombudsman likely has moved my application a bit forward, but it was Julia's assistance that made my request accepted. So, finally, I'm in the right class. Thank you, Julia for your help.

So bad service. Have to wait for hours of hours for talking to agents. I need to repair my car for the damages due to the accident I had in the past. I am paying the full amount as Vollkasko but never had the chance to repair that.
They put you in the cycles of letters and annoy them. As non German , it's hell of a problem. One letter after another letter and so on so forth. Even letters are posted in the course of months. This is all the result of registering and claiming about the accident.
Don't rely on this insurance. Just go somewhere else and you will be much safer

Worst insurance ever. Closing the contract is easy, but all service after that point in time is non-existent. I have been awaiting for a response on a small incident for over 10 weeks now, with no news whatsoever and reachability of the case-worker being next to zero as well. On top of this the tone of voice when one does speak to the claims team is one of utter contempt for their customers, also stating that they do not see any problem in a ten week processing time.
Do not go in to business with this company. Go literally anywhere else...
