My new washing machine developed a leak within a few months.
Trying to report and request an Engineer visit was not easy. I was asked many questions, plus would I sign up to a monthly payment system, Which I did not want. I kept saying, all I want is a visit from an Engineer.
I have given a 100% good report involving the Engineer.

The problem is more serious
The problem is more serious. After a few days the fridge freezer stopped working again and you could not send an engineer for a week. That is NOT customer service. So I cancelled the policy.

Avoid All Hotpoint Appliances
I’ve just seen the reviews and now I understand why. Engineers lied about turning up and saying not in. Now engineer due today from 8-11am and has disappeared and CS can’t get hold of the driver. Avoid this company at all cost. If you buy a Hotpoint good luck, once their product breaks. The warranty is useless as the engineers they employ are non-existent
