Very pleased with my plant
The website stated that my plant would be delivered when it was in stock. This was too vague so I emailed to enquire. The response was quick and helpful. My plant arrived a couple of days later and is a lovely healthy looking one. I was pleased with the size too. Altogether very pleased 😊

The search for a large pot.
I have been looking for a while for a very large plant pot. We have inherited ar large weeping fig. One of the many plants left at my parents. I finally came across Hortology. My only problem defining which one I wanted. Ordered a beautiful pot, then received an email saying there were firing cracks did I still want it. That's the first time it's ever happened. So I can honestly say they area brilliant company to deal with. Benjamin has now settled I to his new big pot and we are delighted with it. Delivery was fast too. Thankyou Hortology and well done.

Classy looking pots.
Absolutely love my new indoor plant pots. I bought one and was so impressed with the quality and speed of delivery, I bought a matching one.
A little bit dearer than I’d normally spend on a pot but the unique design and classy look made it worth it.

Quality product
The plant quality was obviously of a high standard, as was the packaging & overall delivery service. From looking around, perhaps the price was a tad expensive, although when you get exactly what you want, perhaps it is a case of ‘you get what you pay for’.

Great products, but costly returns
I ordered two sets of pots and was very happy with the products themselves. Delivery was fast, everything was packaged securely, and nothing arrived damaged.
However, the first pots I ordered were too large. I was told I would need to cover the return postage, which was very expensive because of their weight. It was actually cheaper for me to order a smaller set than return the original ones.
The products and delivery were great, but I would recommend checking the measurements very carefully before ordering, as returning heavier items may not be practical or affordable.

We are taken aback my your review and comments. We have been working with you to resolve the fact you did not like the finish on one of your initial pots. We have offered numerous solutions, free replacements, the offer of a free collection for return. And then this?
This is the summary of our transactions and communication:
You placed an order for 4 pots plus £5.99 shipping - totalling £51.41
On receipt, you raised concerns about 2 pots - a Saar and a Vita.
Having reviewed the photos, the Saar was typical of this style (you were just hoping for more bronze in the pattern) but on the Vita we agreed the "blue/green colouring around the top does not appear as vibrant or as smooth in finish as we would usually expect". In our opinion this was not necessarily a fault, but it could be argued that it was a variation not depicted on our online imagery.
We therefore looked to find a suitable replacement for you. As the rest of the existing batch was also of a similar nature (ie somewhat inconsistent with the online images) we agreed to wait a few weeks for the next batch to arrive to see if they were more suitable for your requirements. In due course we sent you various photos and you said you were happy to receive one.
We therefore sent you a replacement Vita free of charge. The goodwill element was that in order to reduce hassle for you we did not ask you to return the original Vita and the replacement was complementary.
On receipt of the second Vita you decided you did not like it after all, due to the particular way the two colours met at a sloping angle.
Looking back on our communication we have repeatedly explained the individual nature of our pots. This is as described on the product pages and in our T&Cs. Variations such as these are to be expected. We also said that this might mean our pots are not the most suitable for your requirements if you need something precise, or at least with more consistency....
On 4 June, in order to resolve this issue, we offered to either arrange a collection, or if it were easier and you preferred to return yourself, we offered to make an additional credit of £5.99 when we processed your return. This £5.99 should have been sufficient to cover the return costs for the Vita in question.
At no point did we offer to process an exchange. We would urge you to read through our communications again as exchange was never mentioned. Had you asked for an exchange we would have said upfront that this was not a service we offer.
We did offer that in future we could send you photos of pots we had in stock to help ensure you received a pot that met your requirements.
We have since received a return of 3 pots. We have refunded the full cost of the 2 that were paid for (£22.44), the third being the free of charge item, plus the agreed £5.99 contribution to your return. Total refund £28.43.
The net overall effect is that we have received £22.98 from you, which is the value of the two pots that you have kept.
There is no fraud here. You have paid for the two pots that were kept and we have contributed £5.99 towards the return of the Vita as agreed.
We do not understand your comment "they've conned me of the delivery charge".
As an aside, when discussing the return we did explain to you that you may find a courier cheaper than Royal Mail. And please remember we also offered to arrange to collect. If you subsequently paid £8.99 was that therefore not at your discretion?
However if this £3 is the matter that is upsetting you so much, then we have now refunded that in addition. Please be assured this is totally meant as a goodwill gesture and we do not accept all of your comments. The matter of a defect with regard to the nature of the glaze is subjective. We base our opinions on years of handling these products. We accept you had a different opinion and we have refunded you accordingly. We must agree to disagree on this aspect.

Packing a delicate cactus
The company were extremely helpful in meeting my wishes and overall I am very pleased.
I have only one disappointment and that is the packing. Whilst the packing was extremely good and delivery also, my cactus was wrapped tightly in film which unfortunately broke four of the spine clusters on my barrel cactus. I do appreciate it is a very difficult task to send the cactus though, but I am saddened
