Friendly and professional service throughout. The engineer quickly diagnosed the problem with the overflow pipe and resolved the same day. Since the repair, I've had no more leaks encountered. Thanks you, Homeserve- Your'e been fantastic. Highly recommend!

Mick (Baljar Singh) from Homeserve came over to fix a water leak astonishingly quickly and resolved the issue but had to move the sink and pedestal in order to access the blocked waste pipe. He did this with the utmost care ensuring nothing broke and the nice touch to add a chrome plug with chain to match the existing fittings for my Victorian sink was a lovely touch. All this undertaken with politeness and attention to detail. Thank you Mick, thank you Homeserve

You came out on Friday but had same problem. Came back Saturday & was told we needed new hot water cylinder. Called an independent plumber and all we needed was a new ballcock,,had no problem since.

Because it only cost me £1 a month and if I have a problem it will only cost me £30 call out.

I am writing this review to warn others about extremely dangerous, substandard work carried out under my HomeServe policy.
After reporting a burning smell and lost lighting power, a HomeServe engineer visited on 3rd August and simply replaced a fuse wire, missing the fact that a socket was burning. By the next day, the downstairs lighting circuit had severely charred and burned the entire fuse holder inside my consumer unit.
A second engineer visited on 5th August, admitted the first engineer misdiagnosed the issue, but then executed an completely unsafe shortcut: rather than replacing the heat-damaged parts, he merged both my upstairs and downstairs lighting circuits onto a single fuse carrier and left the charred, melted fuse socket sitting inside my consumer unit.
Leaving heat-damaged components inside an active electrical board and combining circuits as a shortcut to bypass destroyed parts is a major fire hazard and fails basic UK safety standards (BS 7671).
I have lodged an urgent formal complaint demanding a senior engineer visit, replacement of all burned components, and full circuit safety testing. I expected professional service and basic electrical safety, not dangerous workarounds that leave my home at risk.

It was thought that it was a two job and Kieran and I think it was Alan arrived quite early and proceed to check again for the leak and on getting a second opinion it was thought possible not to remove the bath and the second engineer could reach the a broken pipe which he did and they stayed for a few hours constantly checking there was no leak. Their professionalism and can do attitude made my day ,
