Still no word 4 months after sending a HomePod for repair
As per other posters. No communication since the end of October when I sent a HomePod for repair - my advice would steer clear of HomePod Repairs.com as you’ll lose your money and your homepod
no communication
no communication. no tracking. no emails. dumbass move. should have read here before sending. muppet.
royal main delivered to neighbour whoever that may be.
It's not looking good
My HomePod was delivered to HomePod Repairs on Tuesday 9th September and I have heard nothing so far.
If I do not hear anything soon I will also raise with the appropriate authorities and go and collect it.
SCAM!!!!!! Lost £99 & A HomePod
Paid for a repair and shipped my HomePod as per Dwight's instructions. like may of the other reviews I received one communication apologising for a delay due to personal reasons and then nothing else. Number provided doesn't work and no HomePod and no refund 6 months later
Fraudster and Scammer
Homepod sent in early January. No acknowledgement of receipt as mentioned on website. Only answered one email that said he'd had a personal crisis and that my repair would be back by the end of January. It wasn't. Since then not heard a thing. I've completed an Action Fraud report as recommended by Citizens' Advice. Am also reporting to Trading Standards, although it's disappointing to read reports from last year where this action was taken and he's still trading. His website currently says that delayed repairs will be shipped this week That's a blatant lie and has been on the homepage for several weeks! Please don't use this person he's a fraudster and scammer, avoid the business like the plague.
SCAM - Avoid
Sent my HomePod off by recorded delivery over three weeks ago and haven't heard anything since, despite chasing via email multiple times.
Do not use!
Homepod repair ordered and paid for, sent to him and I have proof of delivery. Now there is no response to my emails and I have heard nothing from Dwight.
I will be reporting this to the police.
SCAMMER ALERT!!
SCAMMER ALERT!!!
Do not use this service, do yourself a favour and go ahead and put your homepod in the bin, you wont see it again and you will be out of pocket, no response to any emails and no other way of getting in touch, ill be paying a visit to collect and had no choice but to escalate to begin proceedings reclaim my money.
im pretty sure the good reviews here are all fake as the bad ones are accurate.
avoind at all costs, you're welcome.
Scam.
Dwight signed for my HomePod when delivered by Royal Mail but hasn’t acknowledged receipt of it nor replied to any of the emails I’ve sent in the last 10 days. I’ve sought legal advice and will do everything I can to get my HomePod/money back and more importantly to close this business scam with Trading Standards.
STAY AWAY
I tried homepodrepair and sent my HomePod to Dwight never to be seen again :(
Sent proof of deliver back in August and have tried email multiple times with no response.
Do not use!
Do not use! In attempting to sell my HomePod to HomePod repairs I was charged from my account instead of credited! I have tried for 2 months to get a refund but to no success. Safe to say I am very upset I have fallen for this!
Brilliant Service
My OG HomePod started popping occasionally even when not playing. Then after around a year it died, no power at all. I saw the cost of an Apple ‘repair’ and thought It would have to go in the recycling, however after a bit of research I found Dwight’s repair service and decided to give it a go. So glad I did. It was repaired and back with me within in a week of him receiving it. The longest wait was for good old Royal Mail to deliver to him. I used the invoice me option so transferred the money once he confirmed he’d been able to repair for the fixed fee. It looks just as it did, no evidence of a repair other than it works perfectly!
Fully repaired with great service A+
One of my stereo pair of white hompods had been going faulty for a while and just died. It is actually quite hard to find a good condition white refurb. I can across Dwight after watching a repair video on YouTube from USA and him being recommended. I am pleased to say everything they said was true. A quick turnaround of just under two weeks and great and friendly communication with a very fair price. I can't recommend him enough!
Dwight brought my speakers back to life!
I want to extend my thanks to Dwight for fixing my speaker! My issue was that it had no power. I sent my speaker on May 18th and received it back on June 15th. The service was excellent and I had no issues with Dwight. If I ever need similar services again, I will definitely reach out to him. Great service!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Actually No Stars!!
Having had one positive experience with HomePod Repair, I sent another first generation HomePod to Dwight. I heard nothing for weeks and was then told a replacement was on its way.
A completely bogus Royal Mail tracking document sent by him was described by Royal Mail as ‘a crude forgery.’
Since then, despite numerous attempts, to contact Dwight I have had no replies to my emails…even after I sent a copy of this review
I note that my experience is not unique!! Rather than throw away £100 I suggest potential customers buy a CEX refurb model for £120.
My worst online experience.
My original large size HomePod suddenly…
My original large size HomePod suddenly died one day! Out of warranty and Apple recommended I just buy a new one. Found homepodrepairs.co.uk online and gave it a try. Dwight did exactly what his site claims, I sent it off, he fully repaired it and sent it back promptly. Simple as that and well worth the price. I'm glad to have my HomePod back and functioning like new again. Great service, reasonable price!
What to do when a Homepod dies?
What to do when a Homepod dies? One minute great quality music, the next - silence.
Replace it? But £300 for a new (but possibly inferior) product? Not really
Get Apple to repair it? But the cost is almost as bad as replacing it.
But I'd seen someone on a Facebook group say they'd had a failure and had found a UK repair company at a good price. So I hunted back and found the company they'd used - homepod repairs.
A couple of emails and I went for it - paid the cost, got the order number and posted the box (carefully wrapped).
And two weeks later - my HomePod is back home. Set it up and it's playing perfectly now.
Really pleased.
No communicaiton. No HomePod. No refund. Terrible communicator.
Sent my HomePod to Dwight start of Jan. 6 weeks later he's just stopped responding to all my emails, no refund, no HomePod, nothing. I'm driving to his door tomorrow to collect it and get answers. Bored of this.
he told me on 15th Jan that if he couldn't fix by the end of that week that he'd refund me (didn't even mention shipping my HomePod back to me). It's now 9th Feb and he's not fixed it and has now stolen my money and disappeared.
I've given him 6 chances to respond with a proper update and he's either sent me waffle or just ignored me totally. This man seems to work when he fancies it...
Great Service
As per some of the reviews below. I now have a working HomePod that Apple had suggested needed a replacement at a cost of £240.. As indicated elsewhere, communication was not the best, but if you are patient the service is excellent. My total repair time was about 3 weeks including the Christmas holiday period. No complaints here. I will definitely use Dwight again if I need to.
