Outstanding product and presentation transformed guitar thanks

I ordered the product (a wiring harness that is made to order) over the Christmas period, knowing that the very helpful website had posted that work would not re-start until 2 January. As the Home of Tone is often busy, I was hoping to receive the harness sometime during the following week. I was surprised and delighted for it to arrive just a few days later. It was excellently packaged, had great supporting documentation (the website is also full of good stuff), and works perfectly. I really recommend their work and would buy from them again.

Took no time at all to install and suits the Nordstrand Poly Vox Pickup very well. Amazing how much difference simple passive circuitry can make.

I didn't believe a wiring loom would make such a difference...but it did. Also, the little mod that James suggest for an HSS Strat produces a far more usable tone than splitting the coils/coil tap. To add to that James is a genuinely nice and helpful guy...what's not too like!

Everything about this order, from the initial advice from James, to his helpfully combining my orders (and refunding the shipping difference, which I wasn't expecting) to the packaging and products was top-tier.

Several weeks ago I was given the name James at Home of Tone as a possible solution to an issue with my Gibson Les Paul... and what a blessing this turned out to be.

From the start of my communication with James it was obvious of his knowledge, skills and love for guitars. Being totally professional was obvious but I truly felt I had known James for years.

From the initial troubleshooting my issues with the Gibson he was able to provide a full and thorough explanation what the problems were and what would be required to get my guitar back to life again.

I had NO hesitation in asking James to complete the works and just knew my guitar was in safe hands... roll on a few days and he contacted me to say he had got my guitar ready for collection. With that he'd produced a detailed list of what he'd found and what he'd resolved and what works he had completed.

His pricing was fair and I was left with my guitar playing great again.

I think the testimony of how professional and skillful James Home of Tone is, leads me to wholly recommend anyone who needs something fixing, upgrading or services he provides to go to him to see for themselves. It also provides me with a first choice for my other guitars in the future.
