I had one of the most disturbing and unacceptable service experiences I’ve ever encountered using Homeaglow.
I booked a 4-hour standard cleaning, and the cleaner arrived nearly an hour late, already reducing the time I paid for. When she arrived, she did not bring basic cleaning equipment like a vacuum, mop, or swiffer, which immediately raised concern.
Over the course of the appointment, very little was actually cleaned. Two bathrooms were partially started but not properly finished, and the floors throughout my home were left visibly dirty with debris, hair, and trash. There was no vacuuming or mopping done at all. I took Photos that clearly show the condition my home was left in.
Near the end of the appointment, I asked when she would be finishing and if she planned to clean the floors. She repeatedly said she needed “20 more minutes,” despite the fact that the home was not even halfway complete. She also began cleaning areas I did not request (like the oven), instead of focusing on the basics. At that point, I became uncomfortable and I asked her to leave.
This is where the situation became extremely serious.
She REFUSED to leave my home when asked multiple times, became uncooperative, and stalled despite having her belongings in hand. I felt unsafe and had to call 911, while also contacting my husband to come home immediately.
Even after being told to leave several times, it took her approximately 15 minutes to exit, and she remained outside my unit for several additional minutes. My husband had to intervene to ensure she left the property.
This was not just poor service it was a safety issue inside my own home.
To make matters worse, when I attempted to cancel my membership afterward, I was told I would be charged a $140 cancellation fee, despite the fact that:
1. The service was not completed
2. The cleaner lacked proper equipment
3. The situation escalated to a safety concern requiring police involvement
I have provided photos and am in the process of filing a formal report.
Bottom line:
I did not receive the service I paid for, and I was put in a situation where I felt unsafe in my own home. I would strongly caution others before using this platform.

I’m very impressed on how Homeaglow went above and beyond to address my concerns.
They were determined to fix the problems I had encounter!
Could always respect a business working diligently in a addressing customer care.
And reimbursed me.
Very scammy practices and to add insult to injury the cleaning was pretty much not done. There was additional marks on the floor from dirty mops and obviously no cleaning under things like nightstands or beds in a house with tile floors. Enrolled me in a membership in a scammy way and then tried to force me to keep it or pay hundreds to cancel. Report them to the AZ attorney general office

If I could it would be 0. Stay far away from this company I am working on getting them shut down. They are a scam and they say they do background checks they don’t. Supposedly the cleaner yvelt that came to my house well apartment did not do a good job at all. It kind of looked worse than before and I have pictures. He said he didn’t get to my room although my room was the one mentioned in the instructions. But I have pictures that say he was in my room and moved things around. He moved personal documents that were on my desk that had my social security number. There was other stuff like my dogs picture on my end table was turned sideways. More stuff was moved on my desk. But he had no time he told my cousin to get to my room. But he had time to go through my personal stuff. Because I left him a bad review he wants me to take it down or he will not give my money back to me. The company even says they won’t give it back and since the first visit was discounted there will be a cancellation fee but they already took 80 from my account that is not discounted. Our other personal cleaner is there same time and house is immaculate and his charge is less than what I got charged. This company is a scam there no phone number to contact if you have problems you must contact the person who cleaned. And the person who cleaned will not return it. I have messages of all of our emails texts. Which I used when I contacted the bbb. Now going to contact fraud and any other company I can to get them shut down. It’s not even about the money anymore.

SCAM ARTISTS.
I booked a SINGLE GIFT CLEANING, and these grifters signed me up for a ForeverClean account without consent. What was supposed to be a $19 gift ended up $19 + another $59 for this subscription I never even signed up for. I've been fighting them over email ever since, because guess what? YOU CAN'T CALL THEM!!!!
It's either pay their $59 monthly fee, or pay $59 to cancel a subscription I didn't even sign up for!!!
Scam. Total scam. I hate you Homeaglow.
This site is a complete scam. Not only is the experience and cleaning service terrible, they will continue to charge you years after you cancel. They need to be shut down.

My experience with Homeaglow was deeply frustrating and, frankly, felt misleading from start to finish.
What initially appeared to be a straightforward service quickly turned into a confusing and expensive commitment. The pricing was not transparent, and key details about ongoing costs and subscription terms were either buried or not clearly disclosed at all. What I believed was a one-time or flexible service ended up involving charges and conditions I did not knowingly agree to.
The sign-up process lacked clarity around what I was actually committing to. Important information—like recurring billing, cancellation terms, and the true cost of services—should have been presented plainly and upfront, not hidden behind fine print or vague language.
This kind of lack of transparency erodes trust. At best, it feels like poor communication; at worst, it comes across as intentionally deceptive.
I would strongly caution others to read everything extremely carefully before using Homeaglow, and even then, be aware that what you think you're signing up for may not match the reality.
Overall, this experience left me feeling misled and disappointed. I would not recommend this service. As a matter of fact its closer to a scam than it is a service.

The cleaner that showed up pretended that his pants were falling down the entire time he was cleaning my house, he exposed himself a few times but I thought it was an accident. When he said he was finished, he took those pants off on purpose and asked me if I wanted him, exposing his private parts. I kicked him out immediately. He also didn't clean my bathroom.
I emailed homeaglow and sent them proof. In return, they not only did not give me a refund but only gave me 1 hour of credit. They showed zero remorse for what happened. I gave these people money to clean my house and just got indecent exposured, only for them to show zero remorse and offer one half of one free cleaning in return.
I will be taking that free cleaning and cancelling my membership early. As of now, an early cancellation fee still will apply but I asked them to waive the fee because of the seriousness of the situation. I doubt they will knowing how scammy this business is. STAY AWAY.
UPDATE: They gave me a choice to either take the "free" cleaning or to cancel my membership without the early termination fee. I still paid for the first cleaning which they would not refund. This reply that they take this seriously is not true.
SECOND UPDATE: What's fair is fair, they did call me to apologize, and offered the free cleaning along with refunding my money for the membership. I moved it up to two stars for them taking accountability.

Couldn’t be more of a nightmare dealing with them. This is a marketing scam designed to trick you into a subscription get of which is gonna cost you money. SCAM TRICKERY DECEPTION and then they blame it on you then you didn’t read something they intentionally hid from you. TRICKERY that just shouldn’t have place in a decent society

Fraduulent Marking. They take your CC information for a $19 special trial. Show up on the wrong day and do a lousy job. Then try to bill you for a membership you did not agree to.

charhed me for service then cancelled then tried to charge my card again for the same service. i wany my money back. they a scam

Our cleaner was good. The lack of transparency and confusion regarding their first time cleaning for $79 (3 bedroom house) is the major problem. You are automatically subscribed to a $59 monthly membership. If you want to cancel there is a $300 fee. They should be way more transparent regarding the attached fees. They also have no way to complain about a cleaner without the cleaner finding out which is dangerous when a person knows where you live and know who complained or canceled their cleaning. My cleaner also said that she is treated poorly and with the same lack of transparency. Overall, stay far away. Ignore the 5 star reviews on their website. It is only about the cleaning!!! Not the corporation!

My experience doesn’t even deserve a star. They lied to you. They don’t tell you that the $59 monthly service fee is only a monthly service fee not including $23 for every hour that the clean individual is there I ordered for someone to come help me clean because I am disabled. Only need to have the service cleaner. Call me and tell me that they have to take four buses to get to where I’m located. They didn’t even have a car not a vacuum, not even a mop everything was in their backpack when I called them and told them that you told me that you’re sending me one of the best over the sales rep told me that they couldn’t assist me. I had to wait 48 hours for a customer service to get back to me their liars their thieves this is a hoax and they pray on you to take your money.

Service is a complete scam and subscription trap I selected one time service and got charged monthly then slapped with a $227 cancellation for a one time service…WTF. Customer service doesn’t care they are part of the scam too!
Not only was the cleaning complete crap and the woman milked every minute and couldn’t walk slower with an anchor around her legs,
I could never recommend you avoid a service more than this racket!

I want to share my recent experience with Homeaglow Cleaning to help others make informed decisions.
As of today, this company holds a negative rating with the Better Business Bureau, and unfortunately, my experience reflects many of the concerns reported by others.
Despite following their process and even paying applicable cancellation fees, I have been unable to successfully cancel my service. There appears to be no reliable way to speak with a representative directly, and attempts to resolve the issue have been met with ongoing billing and continued assignment of cleaners.
Consumers should be aware:
• Cancellation is not straightforward, even when fees are paid
• Direct customer support is extremely difficult to access
• Services may continue despite clear cancellation attempts
I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to thoroughly review current customer feedback and BBB ratings before committing.
If you are currently experiencing similar issues, document everything and consider filing a formal complaint through the BBB or your financial institution.
Transparency matters, and consumers deserve clear, fair business practices.
