I found out the hard way that Angi is only worried about their profit, NOT the customers. My contract with Angi was for $280 a month of leads. First I wasn’t getting the correct amount of leads then... See more

We signed up with this company in July 2025. Sounded really good leads for more cleaning. As the months went on I wasnt getting leads, numbers provided I called back no one answered. 280.00 a month for nothing. Called yesterday girl was so very rude wouldn't connect me to cancel. Thrented to take the money I shut my debit card off. Called today canceled it, the guy was rude and told me I was getting a cancelation fee of 738.00 which im not paying and nothing was stated when we signed up. Horrible company and wouldn't recommend to anyone. There more of a scam I have contacted the better business bureau and taking legal action.

Stay as FAR AWAY from Angi as possible!!! Very low valued jobs that Angi shares with several companies. More than 50% of leads don’t ever call you back that’s if they can even speak English . 40% are scams trying to sell you something. Leaving 10% of leads shared with multiple companies. So leads are bad and the people that work for Angi defend Angi like they get a commission for every BS answer they give you . It’s expensive and you have to sign up for a year and cost 35% of contract to get out of it . HOW this company is still in business blows my mind!!! If there was a ZERO star I would have chose it . STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!! If you value your time and money .

They are a ripoff
They lied to me about the services and how it works and when I called within 24 hrs to cancel they claim they can’t and they keep given the run around and lie more
Most leads are not legit and the ones that are legit very few are ready to do the job
I WARN YOU DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL LIKELY GO BROKE
IVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 34 years and its the worst I’ve seen ever
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 12 -11:44 ONCE. AGAIN A FAKE FRONT FROM ANGIE PRETENDING TO WANT TO HELP SOLVE THIS ISSUE
Why do you keep posting to contact you so you can address my concerns (PEOPLE/contractractors /potential Angie’s customers BEWARE)
I have spent hrs on the phone with these scammers aka Angie’s /homeadvisor and all they do is say (sorry we can not help you ,you signed the contract, yet I tell them they lied to me about their service and who they are and how they perform, yet they keep saying we can not help , I have never been ripped off like this in my life STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE I REPEAT STAY AWAY THEY ARE A SCAM LAYING IN WAIT TO TAKE THE NEXT VICTIM “DONT BE THAT VICTIM “
Then they post to my posts here to contact them so they can help I called them many many times and EVERY time it’s the same story -we can not help you sorry you feel this way
!
They should be prosecuted by the law for these crimes
I am documenting all the fake promises and lies and if have to I will go to the state of Colorado to report a fraud about them
OK FOLKS !!!
YOU CAN SEE NOW THEY REPLIED AND TOLD ME TO CONTACT THEN VIA CHAT SUPPORT OR EMAIL (I think they are only responding here via AI to make people believe they are doing something about it and they are NOT !!!!but I will send them a message and follow up on here what they say to show EVERY ONE THAT IS EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERING USING ANGIES TO GET LEADS HOW THEY OPERATE So YOU KNOW TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND NOT GET CAUGHT IN THEIR SCAM AS I AND MANY OTHERS ARE
(If they refund my money and close my account as I am requesting I will post that too ! But so far the many many calls and messages have only yielded more lies from them

I own simple solutions a small home organizing company in Seattle. I was misled into a 12 month contract @ 350 a month. Guaranteeing 18 leads a month. I was told by the sales consultant that I would have 7 days a week support to help build my home organizing business. That never happened, and the salesperson pushed me off to someone in customer support that had zero idea what the sales person represented. After 4 months, I only received 43 leads and a credit for the leads they didn’t provide. The leads they did provide, were either ghosts or not real, 90% never returned a call, test, or email. When I called customer service, they wanted to give me a $200 credit for waisting my time, plus the 290 credit for lack of leads. I decided to cancel then waste more money on a company that is a scam at best. I also had to pay 35% of the remaining 8 month contract. I also couldn’t apply my credit of $490, except if I continued the service. Someone should file a class action. This is a bad company that doesn’t stand behind what they are selling. Needless to say I paid the 980 so as not to waste my time.

What can i say? They bind you in long contracts and don't deliver what they promised. When you call they give you a hard time getting out and barley give you refunds eventhough they cant hold their promise.

Reply from Angi Leads
They're scammers. We signed a contract with them to provide a certain number of leads per month for a considerable sum; as the month was nearing its end, they would send up to 10 supposed leads in a single day, all of them fake. No one responded to our complaints about the quality of their contacts. All they want is to bill us and get our money; they don't care about their clients.

Terrible terrible company. Unable to cancel the day my account went live after having bad experiences with every single one of their employees I talked to. Do not work with them.

Angi's Leads is Garbage. They are very strict about cancellation even though you don't really know the quality of their leads. So, we can't cancel unless I pay a huge cancellation fee. The type of leads they give are often unrelated to the industry we are in. We tried to just make sure that we wouldn't auto renew for next time, but they are saying that can't do that until it's closer to the renewal time. Very poor customer service and very poor leads.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY & TIME!!!
I had 3 Years contract with ANGI (HOME ADVISOR )
They Only Charge you Monthly (Angi ads) & Per Leads (Angi Leads)
A) Very Low Value Leads.
B) Not Answering Leads Phone calls or Text Messaging.
C) Scammers, Scammers and Scammers 75% of Contacts.
D) Very Poor Customer Service.
Whenever you request for Charges refund they just answer with not eligible !!!!
Do not Waste your time and money on this company. i prefer to go and knock the people's doors but not spending penny on this useless App.

Don't waste your money or time. I signed up to be an Angi pro and receive leads, and it has been the worst waste of money and time.
The salesperson who called to sign me up lied to me. I let him know that I had used Yelp and that I hated their model of non-exclusive leads. He assured me that their model was different. That the leads are presented multiple contractors, and the leads reach out to the contractor they want to work with after reviewing the details. I have never had a lead contact me. Instead, I have had to contact recycled leads, and the lead model is exactly the same as Yelp. Contractors are fighting for leads and it becomes a bidding war which is not what I signed up for.
Another issue is that more than half of my leads are non-responsive, so I don't even get the chance to bid on the job.
However, the worst issue is that Angi is advertising my service with Walmart and Costco for less than half of what the industry is charging. There is no way to land a job when the lead is already expecting to pay less than half what I or other contractors are charging. Angi says the promo they run with Walmart and Costco is not connected to my pro account, but I have had more than 10 leads complain about the price difference. Angi needs to get it together because they are providing low-quality leads with unrealistic expectations.

Leads are terrible you loose more then you'll ever make. They dont verify insurance and will post for any one so there's a ton of other people getting the leads who have no overhead. They take your membership fees with out permission. Nothing is refundable. Terrible company to work with. Youll get more people who are just looking for prices of dreams and dont want the work done. 5 contractors get sent there so you have to under bid.

Crooked company will send you leads without screening and then when you cancel they wouldn’t refund me I highly recommend nobody uses this company ever customer service has a little attitude also

Do not waste your time with Angi Leads.
Intake is 1hr - 1h 15min long. I started with a $1000 budget, got 9 leads, only two of them answered. I was able to convert one of the two leads for $125 total.

Horrible experience with Angies leads. They sold me the same customers information multiple times the rest of the leads they seem to sell us were old customers had already had the projects done months prior.
When we asked for a refund or credit on that lease, we were denied even the one they sold us multiple times.
Called our account manager, and due to canceling, she could no longer help us with any information or credits.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
This has been the most disappointing company I’ve ever paid for leads. They fail to deliver on what they promise, and still charge you for a service that doesn’t work as advertised.
I truly regret not reading the many negative reviews about this company before signing up.

Wow! We finally cancelled our Angi Leads account. We tried them out for about 6 months and just finally cancelled. The leads were very poor quality. Either we would never connect with the potential customer (via email, phone, or text) or we would actually get them on the phone and they would tell us that they never filled out anything and they didn't have any roofing issues (we are a roofer). In our weekly meetings we would talk about our "pending leads". Those were leads that came in, but that we hadn't been able to connect to. 95% of the leads on our pending list were Angi leads. We were able to connect with our internet leads, our YELP leads, our Diamond Certified leads, etc. We have decided to put our extra marketing $$ towards the lead sources that work much better.

The worse company ever
Don’t trust Angi leads people they are all stealing money from customers sending fake clients and whe you call them they act like they don’t knw obviously but also they do t give you the money back..
Don’t trust them because you are going to lose your money and they won’t do anything to help you
I started 1 years ago and have to pause my accounts bc of that problem
When I was with home advisor that never happened so be careful this is not a trust company

They sell both leads and have another "separate" department called Angi Ads....which is fine. However when you have the angi Ad app it interferes with the leads. Now it appears they are trying to combine them but the problem is when you shut off your leads they dont shut off. We have attempted to shut our leads off twice now and we are still getting leads. They're just awful....they do this to make it difficult when they keep sending leads when theyre shut off. Keep Ads separate from LEADS. Its that simple. Sickening

I am a business owner and recently used Angis to get new customers. Several weeks in my bill is over 6000 . I only received and accepted 3 leads and won those three jobs. The supervisor told me she couldnt do anything for me. Because it shows I received all the leads and if I wanted to I needed to contact every customer to prove I didnt except the job. They can see by my conversation ls with customers i didnt accept or win the jobs. Don't use them
