While most of my investment experince has been positive it was during a negative experiance that Henry Kent supported me.
Henry took full control of a negative sitaution, came up with an alternative plan and drove it on.
My new circumstances are moew positive now.
Great to know that you have somebody in your corner who will defend your best interests.

My experience with the Holborn team has been exemplary! Jonathan Ralph, Rodgie Yosores and Matthew have been instrumental in making a complicated system reachable and understandable by those of us not steeped in the profession. I appreciate their patience, understanding and at no time was there a rush to finish, even when I had a lot of questions. They recognized that I was trusting them with my life savings and they treated it as if it were theirs as well and helped ensure that we had examined all the relevant information and options to ensure the best outcome for my family. Not what is best for their corporate position. Customer service and support was first and foremost on their mind.

I was truly impressed by Goeff and Amanda’s prompt responses and excellent follow-up. I also really appreciated the friendly and firm proffessional approach and helping us (as novices) to understand insurance and investing better, which made the whole experience smooth and reassuring.
Amanda was a star! She went out of her way to help me (a brand new client) short-notice with an insurance claim that ended up being approved in full.

We invested a substantial sum on the advice of our advisor at Holborn. We were told it was protected should anything go wrong. An email out of the blue informed us the scheme (Godwin Capital No 8 Limited) in which we were advised to invest was going into administration. Since then we have been told in fact the investment was not protected and we stand now to lose all of our investment.
Our advisor reacted by telling us he was 'in a bad place over this' but not to worry as we would get it all back. No apology and nothing from Holborn and no understanding of our and our families devastation. Not a word from Holborn.
Incidentally I understand Holborn do not call their staff 'Financial advisors' but 'introducers'.
Please be careful of these people. Invest at your peril.

Holborn had me invest in several unregulated products without calling my attention on the true risk involved with such products. They actually downplayed the risk by showing glossy brochures pretending the investments were secured against physical properties, etc.
Now, all companies they had me invest into via « secured » loan notes went into administration and the Administrator reports are clearly stating that investors like me and thousands of others were actually not secured against anything. Money flew from one SPV to another without any control, in spite of the trustee supposed control.
All the money invested is now lost and Holborn just keep silent. No support at all to their customers. They just let us figure things out while it’s now obvious that they has us invest in scams and Ponzi kind of products.
This company, really, cannot call themselves wealth advisors. Stay away.
I have found Holborn Assets to provide transparent and clear information, prompt responses and up to the minute guidance. I can highly recommend them.

I have lost all the money I invested on the advice of Holborn Assets.
I initially made contact with a Wealth Manager from Holborn Assets in Spain for investment advice. After all the usual onboarding and questions to establish my objectives and risk tolerance, they made an investment recommendation but I did not invest.
3 months later their Wealth Manager contacted me with details of the Godwin Capital No.8 property bond. I quote from their email:
"2-year fixed income investment opportunity – a corporate bond"
"Secured with a debenture and a first legal charge – equal to a bank’s security"
"Fully FCA Authorized Bluewater Capital act as security trustee for clients"
"There is no other opportunity in the market where you can get these kinds of returns, without the risk of being exposed to the stock markets."
I am not a legal or financial expert and honestly I have no idea what a debenture is, but I (foolishly) trusted the advice of their Wealth Manager. He knew my financial situation and risk profile as I had already completed all the questionnaires. He assured me that this was a low risk investment, 100% asset backed meaning that the money was going into buying physical property which could be used to repay investors if things went wrong.
It turns out this was a complete lie. It was in fact a very high risk investment which should never have been recommended or sold to me, or many of the other people who have also lost their money. I would never have put a penny into it had I known the truth.
Godwin Capital No.8, along with several other Godwin Capital companies, went into administration in June 2025. The administrators are still investigating but have discovered that the investments were not secured as we were promised, Godwin Capital No.8 has no assets of any real value and there is about £160M owed to creditors. There seems very little chance that investors will get any of their money back.
Holborn Capital have failed to do their due diligence on how this investment was really structured before selling it to their clients. They have mis-sold this very high risk investment to unsuitable clients, telling them it was secure and low risk. I deeply regret I ever made contact with Holborn Assets.
right money

I’ve been working with Holborn Assets since 2017 and my new advisor, Mala Patel, is been great. She explained my options clearly, helped me realign my finances, and gave advice that made sense for me. Communication has been easy and I feel more confident with my investments now.

I had looked at several possible options for a golden visa investment opportunity. Holborn has a number of resources publicly available, specifically a series of videos hosted by Jonathan Ralph that explain the process and options. From there, I was easily able to schedule an appointment, ask questions and get the process started. So far, it has been exactly what I expected.

It is bizarre to see how Holborn Assets still has almost five stars on this platform. They are clearly pushing back hard against the recent spate of negative reviews, now the Godwin fiasco is out in the open. So how about a reality check. Senior Partner at Holborn Assets, Mr Qn ( the publication of his name is forbidden under Trustpilot's guidelines, but just imagine a Scotch dumpling) introduced me and who knows how many other investors to the Godwin Group, which is now in administration. Despite assurances that the loans were secured, it now turns out this was false. Godwin administrator Steven Illes of MHA Audit Services has instead discovered that the money was channeled to other SPVs within the Godwin Group, unsecured. Furthermore, in a sleight of hand right out of the ponzi playbook, money was used to repay other investors and also as working capital for other Godwin companies. The report further states that funds "also appear to have been loaned to enable repayments of loan notes issued by other Godwin capital raising companies (approx. £24m), lent directly to SPVs for various proposed developments or to operating companies within the Godwin Group for working capital and then subsequently advanced to SPVs for various proposed developments. We do not yet have full visibility on these loans, how the funds were utilised or the prospects of recovery.”
Something like a definitive report is not expected for another year, so it's a little premature to lawyer up. Suffice to say that, for now, no investor in the various Godwin Capital divisions I am aware of is expressing optimism about these prospects, and Steven Illes himself considers the recovery of further assets unlikely. And we are talking about thousands of people here, who invested hundreds of millions of their hard-earned cash only to see it so brazenly misused. Some have lost their life savings. Money set aside for education, health and retirement has simply disappeared into other divisions of the Godwin Group. And who advised investors to buy into this? An article in Bisnow, published this week, states that financial advisors "in the UK, U.S. and United Arab Emirates would advertise the sale of loan notes, a kind of bond, to individual investors with fixed-interest payments ranging from 8% to 12%." Crypto would have been a safer bet.
There has been no naming and shaming of these advisors yet, but Holborn's "executive team" ranks conspicuously among them. And whatever about due diligence on the part of investors, what about Mr Qn and his colleagues? (Check out the gallery of faces on the company's sleek-looking website). Did they really know what they were selling? Did they care? Or was it all about the commissions they were earning?
Don't count on the FCA to answer those questions - Holborn is too offshore for that kind of regulation - but maybe the DFSA or DIFC might like to know what they've been up to lately. They are not too big to fail.

We were advised to invest in Godwin with a 12% return. They are now in administration. Our advisor in Australia has since disappeared citing family issues with no handover to anyone else once it all turned into a disaster, no care of duty , no care at all .

Geoff Dore was incredibly helpful with my UK pension fund, transferring it, the SIPP etc. He also provided insight and advice into my SA pension, financial planning. I look forward to doing more business with him the future!
