Promises, Promises
I made a transfer from one exchange to this exchange. They said that I made an error. I did not.
I approached them.

These are the support agents that I have had the misfortune of dealing with.
They pretend to be professional. but if the truth be known, they are just dishonest. I do not recommend that anyone use HitBTC, it is a scam.

They stole our doge. From May last year we cannot withdrawal our doge and hitbtc just always give the same answer. It s a technical problem. But 14 month now, what's a jock a very bad jock
Your answer is a bigger jock. 14 month for a technical maintenance that other platteform do in 1-2 days???

SCAMMERS! DO NOT USE!
DO NOT DEPOSIT ANYTHING WITH THESE SCAMMERS, CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED
dogecoin withdraw blocked for over 1 year
dogecoin trades for 20% of actual value
support team gives copy and paste answers over and over again like a bad nightmare
they also actively silence anyone who mentions anything about it on their chat or reddit page
EDIT: Jun 6
Look at their fn reply, same $hit over and over and over for 1 fn year. Give them the benefit of the doubt and say they did not short sell user's doge.
Would you trust an exchange who claim they can't run a doge wallet for 1 year?

I spent 2.5 years providing every piece of KYC document (every other exchanges accepted) ALL rejected by hitBTC unjustly designed to wear me down & steal my money. THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK was to hire lawyers until they would finally give me access to my money... I went through the same procedure before I had the lawyers but there was no way they were going to give me my money back until the lawyers got involved and they were attorneys have that had already won cases for other clients in the past so they knew that their "diplomatic"replies that are all BS wasn't going to work anymore and they had to finally give me access to my money. HitBTC is a scam exchange stealing everyone's money they can get away with

HitBTC is big scammer in the field of crypto, i have been following ups to withdraw my DOGE since 15 month always showing system monitor offline due to maintenance also updated KYC more than 10 times rejected saying image quality poor.
Please newcomer do not trust and register in HitBTC.
Scammers no doubt
Scammers. They deduct $10 per month for no trading. That's the only exchange which does that. I've already done thousands of trades here a few years back, so they earned already lots of money from me, but as a 'thank you' they deducted $300 in the last years in total for no activity. Again ... scammers. And they didn't have the 'balls' to name it fee - they just declared it as 'withdraws'. I've never seen that anywhere else. Yes - they are scammers.

One of the most professional scams online
It won't take you long to find reviews about HitBTC through google. And no, it's not an exaggeration.
Their scheme is simple: if you ever make profits, they will make it hard, if not impossible, to withdraw. They will block your account for "verification", require additional documents and are incredibly slow in response time. Whenever you think you made it, there's something else they need. Finally, after months of trying, you give up. At least they hope. I mean, it's just crypto after all, right? Since they aren't registered in any serious country, there's no chance you can get to them through court.
Dogecoin withdrawals are "down for maintenance" for a year now. Yes, a YEAR.
Just stay away, it's not worth the trouble.

HitBTC scam. For more than ten months, the account has been blocked without explanation.
For more than ten months, the account has been blocked without explanation. Since the letter dated May 9, 2021 at 3:51 PM HitBTC have provided no documents or requests from government agencies incriminating me in any illegal activity. HitBTC have all necessary documents, identity card, confirmed address, proof of the transaction legality, which fully comply with clause AIA Policy 2.2
I asked to consider the case faster, but the support ignored my requests. As a result, due to the blocking of the account, the margin account was not replenished and HitBTC liquidated the margin trade for $3,500. I lost this money due to blocking.
Template support responds once every few months, that you need to be patient. HitBTC continues to hold my remaining money for no reason.

Unauthorized withdrawals
Hi again. I recently decided to log into my hitbtc account to check up my crypto, and I found that someone made 4 unauthorized withdrawals (not much) but still concerns me. I tried to contact support, and when I try to submit a ticket says that you need to submit captcha, its like an error with the website, I tried different browser and still the same issue, so I cannot contact any support. I hope someone here can issue me a support ticket.

Moderately good, but its's absolutely not a bad exchange
I don’t understand the plethora of negative reviews. I filled out the KYC form so verified my account. I set a whitelisted krypto address. After that need to wait about 2 days. And finally I started a payout and it arrived within 1 hour. I understand there are a lot of security precautions, but it’s also in the interest of the customers. I don’t know if only people are too impatient or they really couldn’t take out their crypto, but I have a feeling that the first case since I’ve never had a problem with the withdraw before.
But I also found a problem. In one withdrawal, more was deducted than was written. Ergo they either didn’t update the withdrawal fee or their system has a problem and deducts more than it should. And it's no small difference $ 20 more crypto was deducted from the amount what I withdraw. Therefore -1 star is awarded.

The one star should actually be a no-star..everything works well in the happy flow on this exchange but whenever you come in a non-happy flow like withdrawals that are not working(check their monitoring page and you can see that there are many issues with withdrawals) the you are lost because their so called support division does only send you default email responses like we are working on it but nothing happens…many people have their assets stuck on this exchange and are hoping to be able to withdraw them ever..and last but not least, if you confrontate these guys with facts on Telegram they just kick you out 😂😂😂 WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS AND DONT GET YOUR ASSETS STUCK HERE!
