STAY AWAY! Several employees were signed up for a paid subscription, but the program did not meet our company's needs. All subscriptions were canceled, and yet we are still being charged monthly. No one responds to customer inquiries at all. Every month they refuse to respond is more money in their pocket.

Don't be fooled by the "free unlimited plan." After a few months, I hit a task limit and was prompted to upgrade. Support hasn't responded to my inquiries, confirming other reviews. This tactic feels sneaky, pushing users to upgrade once they're heavily invested. As a matter of principle, I won't be upgrading, despite initially enjoying the tool.

Horrific company and a total scam- STAY AWAY unless you want to lock yourself into a service that is impossible to cancel.
I have been trying to cancel for over a year by emailing them, chatting on website, submitting forms, filing a FTC complaint, and nothing worked- I still get charged monthly ( which I dispute).
Maybe the owners died and it is all on autopilot but I cant even get an agent online to chat with I just submit the info and wait until I realize I am not getting responded to since they don't want me to cancel.

I paid for an upgrade, they took my money and did not provide me with any upgrade. After the trial period ended they simply informed me my trial was over and offered me the opportunity to upgrade.
No response from any support chat or email addresses.
Disgusted.
£100 down the drain and caused me all manner of issues.

I used to be really happy working with HiTask. It was easy to use, line item task management, color coding, project connection. Perfect for someone like me who has to keep their eye on lots of small moving components across different projects. A few years ago they removed what in my opinion was an amazing feature without any sort of heads up. After repeatingly asking about it via chat support (is it removed forever, will it be brought back?), they either ignore or give "bot" like vague answers that don't answer my questions at all. It's still a pretty nice tool, but if you're a single person using it, please be aware customer support is extremely limited, putting it mildly.

P.S: Ultra professional Charlatan Scammer. Replied more than a year later that i may confusing Hitask with another company. Added, they dont give free trial after trial period. Oh yeah? This was our concern that automatically yearly amount has been withdrawn from our card account. Beware of this super CHARLATAN SCAMMER HITASK!

We firstly benefited from Hitask's free trial option.

However, It was not interesting application for our company's profile.

Unfortunately, We have been noticed by e-mail about auto-payment. Yes, They had charged subscription amount automatically at the end of the trial period from credit card without notice. This is what we got experienced with Hitask.

We have tried to contact with them via live chat and e-mails.. However, We couldn't have seen no sign of honesty so far.

They hadn't reply live chats, They didn't reply our e-mails.

In addition to this, They de-graded our customer level to basic level after charging subscription automatically without notice.

In this case, Sorry to tell this, But, They sound like professional scammers.

It is pity that i can not load live chat screenshots.

My suggestion is be careful and clever when you decide to try free trial of Hitask. They will charge you without notice at the end of free trial without notice.

Definitely a great to-do list tool and project manager.
