Lovely campsite just outside Hay on Wye. Stayed for 2 nights
Facilities great, showers and toilets spotless. Nice big pitches.
Emma and Mike were fabulous, very friendly and helpful.

Great little site,just outside Hay on Wye, very welcoming managers, everything clean and spotless, very good facilities, one of the nicest camp sites we have stayed on.

Last weekend we attended an Open Day at Riverbend Park. What a lovely peaceful place!
Angie and Lindsey, the wardens were really friendly and gave us a lovely warm welcome. We were allowed to look around at our leisure and inspect the static vans which were for sale, all of which were very nicely presented.
We particularly liked the doggy play area which allows dogs to be off lead and get plenty of exercise. When they say they are dog friendly, they really mean it!
The site has a pub, cafe and small shop, all within walking distance, what more could you want?

We are a Welsh Caravan Club and stayed at Lickhill Manor over the Easter period for 10 days, the welcome we had was excellent, the site staff were extremely helpful and certainly made our stay enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff

A very welcoming caravan park.
Very clean and very well maintained.
At our time of visiting was nice and peaceful. The staff at the park are friendly and helpful.
The site is very flat and even, with hard standing and grass pitches.
Only a few minutes drive into the lovely village of Hay.
Thank you to all the staff for a great park.

Second. What a brilliant kept site. All the facilities you need bc and all in excellent condition.
Third. The best till last. I have never known camp staff so friendly and helpful. They go far beyond what is expected to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

What a fantastic site. Relatively small with room for caravan, motorhome sand tent with a mix of flat hard standing and grass pitches. Also about a dozen permanent caravans with a small shepherds hut for rent. Park managers were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
Facilities are spotless and plentiful. Covered wash up area with loads of hot water, washing bowls and washing liquid provided.
Beautiful views of the Welsh hills, bus stop right outside.
Would definitely recommend

Had a lovely weekend with the kids caravan was gorgeous watched the sun set on our balcony! They looked after us when our toddler was unwell. staff attentive will definitely be back we loved it! Thanks so much ❤️

Had a fantastic trip away for the first spring weekend at Hay-on-Wye Caravan Park. Such a lovely spot. 30 minutes walk from Hay, very clean facilities, beautiful views. Very friendly owners. Thank you!

Despite freezing weather we were very comfortable here in our camper van. The site is well laid out and beautifully clean. The shower block was immaculate. The welcome pack was lovely, especially with the tea bags. The walk into Hay was straightforward and level. A real gem!

Booked the same day to arrive on the Friday night… they had availability for our two night stay and straight away Lisa text me to say what pitch as we would arrive later than the 6.30 time. They were fine with this. The toilets and shower block are immaculate the best we have been too. We used the family shower as we had the grandchildren with us. The pot wash was equally immaculate . Recycling room was convenient. Information on the wall of the shower block was useful and we booked taxis to get us in to hay which was delightful. Plenty to see and do there the castle is worth a visit. All in all at short notice it was a lovely place to stay . Grounds kept tidy and clean and a lovely brook for the kids to explore. Would definitely come back if we go to hay again. The only tiny thing for us was the water was not by the pitch to fill up. . But a fab place to stay .

Lisa and Rob are fab wardens - very caring, nothing is too much trouble and they are determined to give their campers the best experience possible.
They do a fantastic job at keeping the site/facilities very clean, tidy and neat.
Lisa is always easy to contact if we have any questions during our booking process.
They also have a great staff team.
The location is very handy for a walk in to Hay, which is a really lovely place to chill and mooch.

I booked a touring pitch at the Hay on Wye site as a short 2 night getaway for me and my disabled wife, Roni. I contacted the site and asked if it was possible to site us close to the shower block as my wife has mobility issues. The response I got from Lisa was so kind and considerate. She went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible.
The site itself was immaculately well kept with no signs of rubbish, excellent recycling facilities, Elsan and grey water facilities tucked neatly our of the way. On the edge of the site there was a really cute stream, the views around the site were fantastic and despite the fact that it was bordering onto a main road the sound deadening was fantastic - we didn't hear any loud traffic during the whole stay.
The shower block and toilet facilities were absolutely amazing - spotless, fresh smelling and delightfully well heated. The family shower room was fantastic and even came supplied with shampoo, shower gel etc - what a generous and kind thought.
What really made the visit for us though was Lisa kindly checking in with us to make sure that we were OK and see if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble for her and it was obvious that she took a really genuine interest in making sure we were safe and happy on the site.
We only saw Rob briefly as he was obviously busy, but he was very pleasant to talk with.
For us though Lisa made our stay extra special and was super-attentive.
We will definitely be visiting again. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Hay on wye campsite is a well looked after campsite in a great location only a 30 minute walk into Hay On Wye Town centre that has some great shops and eateries.
The facilities on site are probably the cleanest I have ever seen with the added extra of shower gel shampoo which is a rarity for campsites, it was also a quiet and peaceful site and Robert and Lisa were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Pen Y Maes at Hay-on-Wye and it was a great experience from start to finish. We booked last minute and Lisa was lovely on the phone. When we turned up, there was a little welcome pack with a little treat specifically for our ‘senior’ dog Pepper and Lisa was lovely again. Full of local knowledge and genuinely nice to chat to. The site is simple, the toilet/shower block was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is also an easy walk into the town. Lisa also recommended their other site in Morfa which we fully intend to look up on our way back.

What a great welcome from Lisa and Rob at Hay-on-Wye, Lisa met us with a goodie bag and showed us our pitch. They obviously work very hard to keep everything in tip top condition, the facilities are spotless. It’s a short walk into Hay, or there’s a bus stop just outside. Lovely spot, thank you both.

This is great site, Lisa, Rob and the team are super friendly and helpful, facilities are good and washrooms well presented and clean. Lovely footpath and walk into Hay itself. Countryside setting is a real plus.

This is the cleanest campsite I’ve ever been to. Lovely views and our pitch was absolutely level.
