I had the chance to work with Ms. Palmer and I enjoyed her coachings very much! She helped me to prepare with testing materials and important topics. She also gave me plenty of advice on job searching and career fields!

Please be aware: Health Tech appears to be using coordinated tactics to discredit honest student concerns. When someone posts a negative or truthful review about their experiences, a so-called “concerned student” will often appear in the comments — claiming they had a “great experience” and suggesting that your statements are false.

This is misleading and deceptive. It’s a way to silence valid complaints and confuse prospective students.

🚫 Do not be fooled.
✅ Always verify information directly.
✅ Protect yourself by keeping copies of emails, course materials, and payment records.

Students deserve transparency — not manufactured testimonials or false attacks. Stay cautious and stand firm in your truth.

They claim theyre acceedited but theyre not
They dont help you secure an externship instead they give you a script and a list of hospitals to call. I called and emailed every place near me and since theyre not accredited their “education” which is just a bunch of youtube videos isnt trusted.
I paid 3400 to not be able to get a job or take the state test for surgical tech

This is one of the worst health care academies I've encountered. I took the Surgical Tech class here, and after finishing the program, I found there was no clinical placement or any additional health training. The materials provided during the program differed significantly from the questions on the NCCT board exam. If you try to call for help, no one answers.

Please take my advice: study somewhere else that truly cares about it. Don’t waste your time and money here. Remember, you are responsible for finding your own clinical placements; they won't assist you with that.

I completed the medical assistant program last month and my employer had several additional requirements which the team promptly handled.I have now started my externship which will be leading to my first job as an MA

I like it so far and the team is always available to help. My onboarding was smooth and my pharm tech course is eaasy to follow.

I was skeptical at first but the team has helped me and i completed my mmedical assistant program last week. I am now completing my coaching sessions and NHA prep course. Looking forward to completing this program!

I enrolled in HealthTech Academy’s Technology Program in June 2024 and paid $4,000 in full. The school advertised externship placement and job support, but nearly a year later I have not been placed in an externship.

Throughout the program I dealt with misleading advertising, unresponsive instructors and advisors, and even overcharges on my account — including being charged again after I had already paid my tuition in full.

I also discovered that the certification they provide is not widely accepted by local hospitals or employers, something that was never disclosed before I enrolled.

I tried multiple times to get help from the school, but received little to no meaningful support.

I am requesting either immediate externship placement or a full refund of my tuition. At this point, I cannot recommend this school to others.

Great communication with student advisors and my coach, Ms. Palmer. They are there to help every step of the way.

My experience with health tech academy is going great and a big part of it is because of my Coach Lakeisha Palmer, nothing is never too big for her to explain and guide you through, she is a wonderful person and I love that.

Do not do it. Its not was it promised and they don’t help whit job externship. I was looking more information in every place about this school . Do not get in . its not worth it

Just passed my NHA EKG Tech exam and I can’t be happier. The team has been supportive through out my time at HTA. I will be starting my externship next week now.

I joined last week and the onboarding was informative and the platform is very nice. I am excited to become a Medical Assistant while continuing my morning job.

The coach Lakeisha Palmer was very helpful as going far as helping me create my resume and giving me advice about steps in preparing for the final steps in taking the exam. She helped me through emails with questions even though I used up all my coaching sessions.
