I would give zero stars if that were an option! The site owes me money for several items I sold since November of last year, and my emails are completely ignored. I strongly advise against selling, you will be chasing your payout without a result, nor buying on this platform, as you won't receive your money back if you decide to return a purchase. They ignore all payment-related requests.

124752 This item was sold on the 15th of September, delivered to the buyer on the 18th of September, I have not received payment for it so far, nor do they reply to me when I reach out through chat or email. The buyer has my item, they have their money, I am simply blanked, something similar happened last time apparently they had problems with their system, however that then was in April 2024 and any decent company would have the system sorted out in over a year..
I am considering a report to Trading Standards as they make the promise to pay a seller 7

We shipped the item on 04/10/2025 and it was successfully received by the buyer. We have been chasing the payment for 3 weeks now. The phone is dead, the voice mail system is full and does not accept any more messages, the emails are not answered, tried to reach their CEO - no reply. What shall we do ?

Don't sell or buy anything . Haven't been paid for weeks even though I had withheld sending the sold items until I had a written confirmation that I would be paid by 22/9. I sent them on 8/9. Nothing. Two times before they took 3-4 months to pay. No communication via email or text. Sold many items over the years, they were good and now it's a terrible experience, it has never been this bad. HEWI are you going into administration?

Do not purchase anything! I bought a managed by HEWI item on the 8th October. The transaction went through but, I have not received my item. No delivery information has been forwarded, no delivery status available and I can’t reach anyone via the website or chat. The phone number is dead.

THEY CURRENTLY OWE ME £548 FOR A SALE WHICH WAS DELIVERED AND CONFRIMED 25TH SEPTEMBER, I HAVE NOT HAD ANY CORRESPONDENCE FROM THEM SINCE DISPITE MANY EMAILS AND WHATSAPP MESSAGES.
THEY HAVE STOLEN MONEY FROM ME.
PLEASE DO NOT SELL YOU ITEMS WITH THEM.

I paid for a jacket and just over a week latere the seller contacted us directly to say she'd sold several items with the company and was owed a consideerable amount of money.
She's tried writing and calling them but is consistently ignored. We've dealt with her directly since.
Albeit they refunded the money to us quickly I would avoid this company at all costs just on principle

I listed a pair of shoes for sale on HardlyEverWornIt on September 28th. According to their website, listings should be reviewed and approved within around 24 hours. However, almost two weeks later (October 9th), I received an email saying that my price was “too high.”

They compared my listing to a completely different pair of shoes on another website that happened to be on sale for half the price, and told me I should match that price, which makes no sense!

On top of that, I’ve tried contacting their customer service three times by email, WhatsApp, and through their website, and never received any reply.

I do not recommend using this platform. Unprofessional and unreliable company.

HEWI have not paid an invoice that was sent to them (approved and acknowledged) back in July 2025 - no payment and now no contact from them either by phone or whatsapp. Assume the company is no longer trading?

I purchased an item with Hewi mid last month and have chased repeatedly for an update on shipping with no answer to emails, WhatsApps, calls and direct messages via their website. I realise now that they are clearly bankrupt and I have proceeded to process a claim with AMEX for the money taken. Avoid

I have sold on HEWI for several years, generally had to chase them for payment. This time, more than two weeks after item was delivered, no payment, no reply to messages. I will wait a few days then report to trading standards.
Update; 'phoned today; their number no longer taking messages. We have been the victim of unethical business practises.

I am an individual seller at HEWI.I have sold 2 items on July 2025 and I have not been paid yet even though they have received the money from the buyers.I have send a lot of emails to them.At the beginning they reply that the accounts teams have been informed but since then they stop replying to my emails and what's app messages. I have not receive my payments yet. This is unacceptable . Please stay away. Don't sell to this site. I have decided to take legal action through Small Claims Court (ΗΒ) and to European small claim procedure.
The orders are ORDER NO. S/WS7Y7A1B/122889 placed on 04/07/2025 and NO. S/917OR8SD/123259 Placed on 15/07/2025 .The items have been delivered to the buyers on 16/07/2025 and on 24/07/2025.

I am very disappointed with my experience as a seller on Hardly Ever Worn It. I posted an item in April which sold, but I have still not been paid. Despite following up, there has been no resolution or payment from HEWI. As a seller, this is unacceptable — if you are considering listing your items here, be aware that you may not receive your earnings.

Scam site. I have not been paid for a sale that has been paid gor months ago. Customer Service don't help.
Stay away from this sh ite site !

Do not use this website to buy or sell!
They have absolutely no customer service or support. My payment has been stuck in “pending” for 2 days due to an error on their website, and despite calling and messaging them multiple times, I’ve received no response at all. The lack of communication is unacceptable, and I now have no choice but to contact my bank and report this as potential fraud/scam.

I sold a Chanel ring on the resale platform hwei @hardlyeverwornit about two months ago. The shipping company confirmed that the buyer received the item, yet I still have not been paid. I tried every possible way to contact their Customer Service and Sales team, but no one has responded and no payment has been made. This company feels like a scam, and I don’t understand how they are still operating.

I became a VIP seller with HEWI in March. Since then I have sold 13 items and have been paid for none of them. I was forced to make a statutory demand for payment - this at least promoted them to contact me, but they made empty promises of payment within 48 hrs. I have now paid the fees for CCJ and the have util mid Oct to respond, after this, if I have not received my money I will make an an application to have the company wound up, I have a few other customers who want to join the court action already (from Facebook posts) please contact me if you would like to be included Victoria(at)hotmedia.me

I still waiting for 1k$. It’s been more than 8 months. I texted them everyday. They either don't answer or they keep feeding me promises. I want to sue them!!!!

I ordered a Vuitton bag on 24th August 2025 . I have now sent 5 requests for communication as I have neither received the bag nor any contact from the seller .
I have had one email from HEWI customer service saying that they have contacted the seller .
I have paid the money and received nothing . No courtesy emails , response to my complaints , nothing .
All seemed to be well with this company until July of this year , now there are so many similar complaints .
Beware before you give them any money . I suspect that they are in trouble

Do not sell on this site, once item is sold , posted and delivered to the buyer there is no payment made to the seller

I have been chasing my money over a month now and no reply , calls do not get answered and you can’t leave a message

This is fraudulent despicable behaviour
