STAY AWAY OMG

STAY AWAY OMG. my husband & I are learning everything the hard way. Please avoid this company at all costs. Takes over 30 days to deliver, the mat that goes inside the playpen is shown to be a thick mat for support well it’s about .0002 inches thick and feels like plush plastic NOT GOOD. Teething babies are strong my sons trying to bite chunks out, the pull up rings fly off when pulled on baby will just go flying backwards. With the mat being as soft as a hardwood floor it DOES NOT provide the comfort you want to have it you need to run to the bathroom or anything this playpen is just not it. You won’t even be able to stand beside it and do the dishes because it’s self destructive. Save your money, time, stress and go with ANYTHING ELSE. This playpen and mat should have been $60 not $200+. And as parents they know we will spend the money when it comes to the safety of our children. They are scamming parents

We’re so happy with this high chair

We’re so happy with this high chair! It’s well-made, sturdy, and thoughtfully designed. Assembly was quick and easy, and it feels really safe for our little one. They seem super comfortable in it and actually enjoy sitting at the table with us now. It’s also really easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. Definitely worth the purchase — highly recommend to other parents looking for a reliable and stylish high chair!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Do not order from them. It says they are from Oregon but really this company is based in Singapore. Something I only discovered after I placed my order, if you lie shoot that, I can’t imagine the products are actually non-toxic. I ordered a playpen, they emailed they no longer had that size but will send a different product. Obviously that’s not how things work. I don’t want a different product, I want a refund. They took my money and now I am disputing the charges. Avoid this company at all costs. There are Reddit threads about them if you do your research, I wish I had before I purchased.

Scam! Return policy is insane!

Wow. I have never before faced such a psychotic company that tries their hardest to make it impossible to return their completely unused product within a week of receiving the item. I wanted to return the product because a feature I thought it had didn’t work as I thought — an unfortunate misunderstanding that could have been rectified if the return was processed without fuss.

Instead I was directed to send an unboxing video of the original opening of the package and in the same clip show a defect, as a defect is the only reason they will process a return. Yes, you read that right. They expect you to have filmed yourself opening the package and identifying a defect right away!!!! Thank HEAVENS my husband is weird enough that he did film himself unboxing it otherwise they wouldn’t not accept the return! I’m about to submit a return request for the third time with this video and I hope they don’t give me a bogus excuse again of why they won’t process it.

I hate this company. I regret ever trying one of their products

I received a baby gate from this…

I received a baby gate from this company, and I read a lot of reviews on it and they all seemed very positive. Upon receipt and assembly it was basically falling apart with screws coming out the pieces that helped bend the sides were falling in half. I messaged them and asked for replacement parts and told them that they were screws coming out, which is a major choking hazard for a child and they seem to initially say they were gonna give me replacement pieces, which I was very happy with their quick and helpful response. I was then told that I needed to leave a five star review in order to receive replacement parts which felt unfair to every other person who ever wanted to purchase one of these in the future because it was a deceiving review morally I decided against doing this and have just thrown the gate out . before throwing it out there was a piece so sharp that had broken in half that it cut my daughter‘s face. I’m sure many of their products are good, but I felt that all of the reviews were deceiving and maybe it was because people were forced to leave in good responses in order to receive replacement parts I’m sorry to leave such a poor review. I’m usually not wanting to do this, but because it was the safety of my child and rather than being commercial and giving me replacement parts, they asked me to leave a deceiving review which I’ve decided against. I do not recommend this product.

Unsafe product

Do not purchase the natural timber playpen from HappyGira. After spending $600 on the natural timber playpen, I really wanted to like it. However, after about two months of use I noticed flaws with the design that make it a poor value and potentially hazardous. The connectors break easily. It’s not easy to unlock the connectors causing them to break easily and not user friendly. Additionally, I noticed the screws keeping the connectors in place can fall out which is a choking hazard. The entrance to the playpen is difficult to open and close with a baby in your hands

When I reached out to customer service, they offered a few solutions. I could pay full price to replace the new connectors or half price if I provided a positive review. To be truthful, this turned me off as I would’ve preferred to write a review after the issue is resolved. Customer service seemed to want to make things right, but did not wish to acknowledge the potential hazards and faults in the design. I ultimately decided the pen not to be safe for use and requested a refund instead of providing a positive review. The company promptly provided a refund on the additional connectors I planned to purchase, which I appreciated.

In summary, while the customer service was responsive, I can’t recommend this playpen because of high cost and hazardous design. For $600 I would expect that customer service would want to be proactive about improving the pen and addressing faulty parts rather than pushing consumers to provide positive reviews.

Reply from Happygira

Dear Erica,

I hope this message finds you well.

Firstly, I want to express our sincere apologies for the frustration you've experienced with your connector. From our previous conversations, we understand that the damage occurred during reinstallation. When opening or closing the connectors, make sure to switch them to the open position first. Otherwise, forcing them while they're locked can cause damage. It looks like your connectors are experiencing the same issue.

To assist you, we offered two options: purchasing 10 connectors for $60 or participating in our positive review promotion, where you could exchange 5 connectors for just $30 and receive a total of 10. We noticed that you opted for the latter by paying $30 without providing a review. Subsequently, we presented three additional solutions: covering the $30 difference, participating in the review exchange, or directly sending you five connectors from your order. I regret that none of these options met your expectations.

Ultimately, we honored your request by refunding your connector order.

Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we're committed to resolving any remaining issues. Please let us know how we can further assist you or if there's another way we can make this right.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Warm regards,

Anna

Worth the wait!

While it took time to arrive, the playpen is better than I expected. First class materials, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has a floor. I had no trouble assembling it and the grandkids love it! It also is easy to separate some joints, and fold it for storage between visits. And I see how easy it will be to pack and carry.

Cheap materials and no returns

Got the standard playpen and it feels cheap. Seeing the item on a constant $100 discount should have been a red flag. Feels like if I touch the bars they'll bend in, not to mention they didn't send all the correct parts. We also got a play matt - it's 1cm thick and doesn't feel like a cushion at all. It was also supposed to be 60x70 but was smaller by several inches. When we tried to send it back, customer service said returns are only for defects - likely to prevent having to ship back to Singapore. Somehow receiving product smaller than advertised isn't a defect. I recommend staying away.

We ordered a playpen 2 months ago

We ordered a playpen 2 months ago. We asked for updates throughout the process, and never received an update. Today we received an email from Girababy saying that the package had been delivered(it hadn't), and that there is nothing they can do. We asked for a refund multiple times throughout the process, and the customer service would not answer the question, just tell us that the product was in transit. Girababy stole money from us. We never received or playpen, and were strung along for 2 months. Avoid dealing with this company at all costs.

Terrible customer service

I had a broken connector with our 2 month old playpen. After contacting Happygira I was informed they wouldn't replace the attachment because it was past 7 days! I was told I could purchase 2 connectors or they would send them for free if " All we ask is that you leave us a 5-star review". I felt this is dishonest and had to purchase the connector. This came after tremendous delays in shipping. I would never buy from this company again!

Beware!

Beware! This company is a total scam. They sent me a product that looks nothing like what I ordered, then blatantly lied to me about it and told me I would have to pay for shipping back to Singapore if I wanted it corrected. Do not order from them!

I messaged to cancel my item literally…

I messaged to cancel my item literally within thirty minutes of the order because my wife said she hadn’t decided fully yet and they stated it was already shipped. This was the 8th of May. Today, the 12th, they say the item has been shipped and would take 7-20 business days. I even asked on the 8th about how to return the item when it arrives and they have given zero instructions when their site advises you to email them for instructions on a return.

Scam

We bought two of these for our large home. The first one we put together and one of the click to lock mechanisms for the playpen is broken. So basically the pieces don’t lock together. It’s just the way it’s been manufactured and it’s not lined up properly. It doesn’t feel sturdy overall. It’s all a bit wiggly even once secured together. It’s a product which is decent for $150.00 if it clicked together. For the price I expected a much higher quality. The return policy is very sneaky and basically prevents any returns from happening. 10/10 won’t buy anything from here again. Scam artist company….

We purchased a panda plush and my stepson absolutely loved it. It’s very soft and high quality and super cute. The shipping was good. I would definitely purchase from them again. I highly recommend this company.

Foldable Lounger With Generous Storage

I've got a lot to say about this. It's incredibly convenient and can be folded up for easy portability. It's definitely a great lounger for keeping your baby comfortable. There's plenty of room to store everything you need to take care of your little one. Everything can be folded up and placed into a nice, convenient tote bag, which is super handy. The materials look great and are made from soft fabrics. The adjustable shoulder straps make it easy to fit comfortably.

This is not an honest "business"

This is not an honest "business". They imply that they are U.S.-based (based in Beaverton, Oregon) per their website and that their items are manufactured in the U.S. (also stated directly on their website). Yet the package is shipped from a warehouse in Singapore. I have no problem with Singaporean products--but I DO have a problem with lack of transparency and dishonesty. I don't trust entities that lie or are shady about the origin of their products. When I asked them about this, they claimed that shipping directly from Singapore was to provide "faster delivery" and "better service". First of all, how this makes sense is beyond me. How is shipping from another country going to be "faster delivery" and "better service" than shipping domestically? Second, it didn't address the shadiness of why they didn't make this clear on their website! This was two strikes against them. After these exchanges, I could not trust that their items were thoroughly safety-tested and high-quality like they claimed on their website. If they are okay being dishonest and shady about these things, what's stopping them from doing this across the board in other areas? After reading so many people's negative experiences and disappointment with the product quality, I can pretty much confirm I don't trust that their claims about safety and quality are legitimate and trustworthy.

In terms of shipping time, the product (a baby gate) was purchased Feb. 18, 2025, and we didn't receive it until March 11, 2025. By that point, we didn't even need the product anymore.

When I requested a refund for the above reasons, they said I'd have to open the UNOPENED boxes and take a video of the items. I have never in my life had a business request that I open UNOPENED boxes for returns. I found this completely shady, especially after reading all of the negative reviews and experiences people shared on sites like Trust Pilot and BBB. Because of this, I did not feel comfortable opening these boxes. I wanted to return them exactly as they were delivered to me--100% unopened.

They also said they don't provide return labels. I have never in my life heard of an e-commerce business that doesn't provide return labels.

The lack of transparency alone is enough for me to strongly warn people against dealing with this "business". But all of the above reasons make me hope that everyone can learn the truth about this "company" and not fall into the trap of buying anything from it.

I tried to cancel before my item was in…

I tried to cancel before my item was in transit (2 days before) and they emailed me the day it went in transit to let me know they can’t cancel. Ive asked for certifications to show me safety and received a generic test report. They won’t answer my questions clearly and only reply once a day - if that.
