Amazing flooring

Easy to lay and looks amazing. Waterproof so perfect for my kitchen too as layed this in my hallway but want it everywhere as the quality is superb and so is the square feet in this pack. Great value and very affordable

We purchased an outdoor bike shed, the assembly was unnecessarily difficult, took 2 of us over 4 hours only to get to the last stage of putting the roof together and there were no instructions of how to put everything together? So we had to guess, meaning that it isn't perfect and not very functional, but I suppose keeps the rain out.

Would never use them again.

I would also like to give less than 1 as the customer service is appalling ! I emailed to let them know that a small part of my order is missing and it took a day to respond and all they did was send me a photo of my front door to say it had been delivered !! After getting straight back to them they haven’t answered and it’s been 2 days !!

That is a jewel!!! Absolutely satisfied with the product. A stunning design, colours can be changed (we prefer natural but the blue and white options look nice, also), high quality steel and glass front. Arrived packed in double boxes. Highly recommended.

The Fire we bought from this company stopped working within days of it being delivered. This company decided to send us a motherboard, telling us we had to install it ourselves using a video in appose to replacing the fire. It didn’t arrive for weeks, despite the company saying they had immediately sent it out to us. Motherboard has arrived and it is a completely different motherboard, we can’t install it. We can’t even get the original motherboard off.

I recently purchased a motorbike shed from H&O Direct. Upon receipt, I began assembling the shed, but after two hours, I discovered that two panels (X2 P3) were missing. There was no phone number available for customer service, which seems indicative of their lack of concern. I explained the situation via email and waited two days for a response, only to be told, "We don't have any spare parts. You should have checked before starting to build the shed." As a result, I now have a half-built shed with the remaining parts laid out on the floor, unable to complete the assembly. This situation has persisted for nearly four weeks.

I sent photographs and requested the missing panels. After several emails, I opened a case with PayPal. In response, they offered me a £12 refund if I kept the shed. I explained again that I could not keep the shed without the missing panels and that I was willing to return it. They replied that they would send a replacement shed but only if I closed the PayPal case.

Trusting their promise, I closed the case. Instead of sending a replacement shed, they sent the two missing panels. However, by this time, the partially assembled shed had been exposed to the elements for four weeks and was damaged. The steel was bent and twisted, resembling paper due to exposure to wind and rain.

I have given this product one star, but if I could rate it lower, I would. I will never purchase anything from H&O Direct again. They deliberately misled me into closing the PayPal case, knowing full well that I would have no recourse afterward.

Ordered a patio glass topped table which unfortunately arrived with the glass smashed to pieces. Emailed to inform what had happened and was told a replacement would be sent within 3-5 days. One day later replacement arrived intact. While we do appreciate that accidents can occur when transporting glass the replacement service was first class. 10/10 for HAOdirect.

There is absolutely nothing that isn't perfect.
The best thing is it's so light and practical to use and move.

Bought a garden shed last month from this company and i wish i never used them. The quality of the laminated shed panels is dangerous and so poor; we cut our hands all over due to the unfinished panel cutting we were sent, with sharp edges and corners. Majority of holes were not pre-drilled and took us an extra three hours to measure and then drill them.
Instructions were pathetic, may as well not included them in the packing, just as well as same support.
They have clearly been google translated into English from whatever language and the translation on the manual has to be interpreted and guessed to what it means to say.....absolutely so poor and so un-professional.
My best advise to anyone looking to use H&O Direct is to NOT do it and go for a more reliable company.
From an healthy and safety point of view the item is a hazard concern.

I bought a plasterboard lifter from this company in March 2024. It was broken. To those who have never used one before, a plasterboard lifter, enables one person to lift plasterboard to the ceiling. It uses a pulley wire inside the machine that takes the weight of the plasterboard. The pulley was not connected. A plasterboard can be heavy, 24kgs or more, so you don't want it to drop on you. Potentially it could seriously injure or kill the user.
The company told me that there was nothing wrong with it. They then sent me a 7 second video as to how to fix the wire which did not show how to fix the wire.
For weeks they continuously informed me that there was nothing wrong with the product. I challenged them. I threatened to inform Trading Standards.
It is quite clear that they operate from China. Emails are sent within a narrow time frame corresponding to China's time zone. There is no telephone number.
They relented and agreed for a courier to pick up the product. The day the courier was due to turn up, it didn't. They managed it on the second attempt and then once it was picked up, I continued to receive emails that it would be picked up. It was picked up on 13 May 2024. Then they couldn't find the product that was returned to them, so couldn't refund the purchase price, but I should continue to be patient.
One of the worst experiences I have had in buying a product online.

Purchased the Pergola from H&O Direct and everything went as planned from date of order. I was kept updated on delivery which arrived within designated time frame.
Building the Pergola relatively easy although instructions and photos of sections could be a little more clear.
All in all pleased with the Pergola and service provided by H&O Direct.
I would have no hesitation in ordering from them again.

Brilliant product and price

Sturdy, looks nice and got it at a cheap price compared to other places. I'm using some more pillows underneath the provided seating pillow but otherwise very happy with product.

Despite negative reviews I can only give my own experience which is positive. We have just taken over a pub and ordered 10 outdoor tables to go with chairs bought elsewhere. I spoke to a gentleman called Charles several times who was always courtious and helpful. They were delivered on time by Yodel who I also think are excellent. We will be ordering more stuff when; the summer gets going. The tables are lovely and ideal for what we need them for. Sorry othere have not had good experience with this company.

We bought a nursery rocking chair that arrived with holes and fittings that don't line up so it can't be put together and the fabric is damaged. The company is refusing a return and refund despite it being within our legal 14 day right. Absolutely shocking customer service, the company even told us to force it together and that the fabric that was torn 'is meant to be like that' after we sent pictures. Despite explaining we have a baby on our way in a few weeks (not that we should have to) the company will still not accept a return and a refund. Please save your money and time.
